With what I have read so far I am a little co fused as well....but going to spend a few hours tomorrow burning through some pellets to get it figured out.
I do not think I will ever switch from my MB electric smoker with the cold smoke attachment over 1k hours and still going strong I use pellets a cup lasts about 3hrs if you turn the cold smoker off after 15 minutes it self burns as long as the vent is half open. I have cold smoked frozen chickens and turkeys then in the oven for perfect skin after the birds thaw on the smoker
If it works for you then oh yea keep on using it, my MB lasted me for a good 2 years and had no real problems with it.....just keep smoking and enjoying your smoker.

reading tthe instructions on smoke mode,after push and it flashes,says press the p set button ..thats when i get lost.....meatloaf looks amazing
Yea I'm still working on figuring it and how it switches from PID mode back to standard mode.
