      If the crafting order that is available to you says that it does not provide the reagents then do those go from your own stock or does it mean that the poster of the order doesn't want extra reagents? I am LW but the only available ones I can make have the notification and I cant understand whether I will be payed the commission fee or I will have to use my own materials to craft those orders, making them extremely expensive.

    • @ZeraTheRedRogue
      @ZeraTheRedRogue  Год назад

      That's honestly/potentially because no one has the knowledge up high enough on your realm to make the good/specific things. It takes a lot of invested money/time to have a high enough knowledge in armor crafting-related things (plus some of the better epic recipes are drops from the raid, unlocked via renown rewards, or are just blind luck world drop patterns). I do agree a bit though and think that only your larger realms will see consistent success with the profession orders, but it does give you on your own account (via the personal orders you can send to your alts) a way to craft for all of your characters, which is still pretty useful. Public Orders also require the requester to proved EVERYTHING, so a lot of people are likely going to use guild/personal orders which you won't see since those are direct transactions.

      Like Uber mentioned, you need to go to your profession crafting table (a lot of them are in Valdrakken, so find a guard to point you to your profession spot if you don't remember/know yet) but you will some times find them in other areas like the Wingrest Embassy has a couple random ones like Leatherworking/Enchanting and random ones. Valdrakken should have 100% everything you need.

    When placing a public work order, does the crafter have to provide any mats or is it all covered by the orderer? Meaning, the "commission" is just straight profit for the crafter and they don't lose anything by accepting it

    • @ZeraTheRedRogue
      @ZeraTheRedRogue  Год назад

      Correct, public orders must provide all the crafting reagents. This includes materials like ore/leather/etc, as well as any bind on pickup things such as the Training Matrix which adjusts the item level of the piece of gear. I think TECHNICALLY the craft can insert a missive on their end, but that is something that's considered optional in the crafting process if the order-placer doesn't include one ahead of time. This results in the item rolling just a random combination of stats when made.

  • @omgdisfunny4852

    So then can the crafter provide the training matrix or primal infusion when fulfilling an order? If they can, then it seems like a non mythic raider could request a mythic raid level crafted item.

    • @ZeraTheRedRogue

      Public Work Orders are kinda janky since most of the good stuff you can make require materials no one has yet, and patterns that come from raid/random world drops/renown unlocks are also generally the better ones. You also need a LOT of knowledge invested into specific profession specializations to make most of the epic gear, let alone the ones people will actually pay money for. Guild/Personal orders are going to be used far more often since you can send them directly to a friend/guildie/one of your own alts to have them craft it for you.

    • @ZeraTheRedRogue

      If you send a crafting order request and it is completed, you should get your items at any mailbox in the game. It will say it is from the Artisan Consortium. If you're online when it's completed, you'll also get a notification in-game in the chat window that says something along the lines of "a crafter has completed your order for -Insert Item Here-"

      It is so volatile, some items people are asking for 30k+ or more commissions on the rare/epic gear, and then other stuff is practically 0 gold. >_< Personal orders seem to be the far more popular alternative, so depending on how big your server is you'll likely see a lot of people in trade chat offering their services and hoping to get direct requests instead of public orders. I think they made a mistake in that regard as to the popularity of public vs personal orders.

    [Insert Engagement] Newest dead system RIP. There are ppl who like to craft to make 100k to 1m per day, and there gathers. NO real gold maker is gonna waste time with 1-5 k tips. The making gold part of crafting is fun, and Blizz doesn't like a dozen ppl controlling server economies. That can not be stopped.

    • @ZeraTheRedRogue
      @ZeraTheRedRogue  Год назад +4

      I think you’re missing the point of the system- this allows you to make bind on pickup gear for other people. Like you can only get those epic pieces of gear either by being that profession yourself and crafting them yourself, which requires using your knowledge points to spec out in a particular thing to craft, or paying someone via this system. A lot of those epic gear items also have unique procs and benefits that are DPS/throughput gains. The gear also goes up to about the same level as early/mid level mythic raid gear, and will be continuously upgradeable in the future via the recrafting subsystem
