You always do such an amazing job on your walk-throughs. I love that you always try to keep us oriented as you turn in aother direction. Thank you! This buffet makes me hungry!
Thanks for watching! 🙏🏻😊
Perfect video of the buffet. Loved it.
Thanks for watching!
RIU palace properties always have a good buffet. We stayed at the RIU palace in Cabo about 8 years ago and the Buffett was HUGE. Just the dessert section had its own large area.
Yes, they always have a great selection 👌🏻
Thank you for this update! I just shared with my family as there are 15 of us leaving for this resort in July!
Thanks for watching and enjoy your trip!!
@@WherewegoingNext Thank you!
Hi Andrew and Mona, another great tour. I didn't see smoked salmon this time. They put out a tray of American beacon right on top of the donuts! They really know their guests! They should also put a defibrillator there too! I miss the days where I can teat all that fat!
It sure is hard to watch what you eat with all the yummy looking food!
Awesome 🤩 Andrew and Mona - Cheers ! Chef Bari
Thanks for watching!

Great video! The food looks amazing but I don't think there were any comments on the taste/quality?
Also, can you comment on the beach? I know it really depends on time of year, and not sure when you were there, but would you know how the ocean situation is in July? Rough, calm? Not too concerned about seaweed as that's to be expected. Also, are there umbrellas/palapas available. Ive noticed a couple of resorts dont have any, just super tall palm trees that dont do much lol. Just started researching this resort for our 30th anniversary and any other info is appreciated. I'll look through your videos. Thanks again!
The food tastes pretty good - we’ve been to this resort twice, once before the pandemic and once after - and the food was better pre-pandemic 🤷🏼♀️
The beach is great - it’s shielded off from most waves and is generally pretty calm, unless there’s a storm coming in. 👍🏻 there aren’t any umbrellas at this resort on the beach - this is a common for most, if not all RIU resorts 🤷🏼♀️ there are pergolas at the pools though 👍🏻
Thank you your descriptions are very helpful, my husband & I are trying to decide if we want to go to a RIU resort. We are both totally blind. My questions, are there people at the buffet stations to help us? What RIU has the best food in Cancun?
The buffets are mostly self-serve, other than some specialty stations like omelette, pasta and meat grilling/carving stations. We enjoyed the food at Riu Palace Las Americas and Costa Mujeres (this one is a bit north of Cancun)
