Almost 7 years later, Bloody Tears is back by popular demand! This was the #2 most requested May Madness remake from you all from the public 2020 May Madness Remake Request Form, only a few votes behind the #1 song.
Bloody Tears was up for consideration last year, but since I had just done Wicked Child, I figured it could wait a little bit. I had also considered doing it later in 2019, but I never really got the free time to do it.
But you all made this an easy shoe-in for May Madness 2020, so let's get to it!

You may not believe this, but I was playing the new Terraria update with a friend of mine and during a Blood Moon one of the enemies dropped an item called the Bloody Tear, with the tagline being "What a terrible night to have a curse."
I love Castlevania, so that was already great to find... But then after we finished I come here and see that this released, TODAY! Amazing coincidence(And an amazing piece to boot!)...
But the fact he's doing PLANTERA(Terraria boss) next has officially made me lose it. This has to have been planned.

Bloody Tears shits on Vampire Killer without a doubt. Bloody Tears is just a pure work of God in itself, very fitting for the series as a whole. To this very day I will always think that Simon’s Quest Simon is my favorite version/design of Simon even though Barbarian Simon is the most iconic (Even though Simon’s Quest isn’t perfect by no means). I mean, the dude is wearing armor due to Dracula’s curse on him being an unnatural form of leprosy, and he still trekked through the country side willing to put his ass down, which is just a straight badass thing in itself despite everyone hating him/demonizing him.

Nice revision of Bloody Tears, my favorite theme in general of Castlevania. Is not only a catchy theme, but also a versatile one. It can be used in slow tempo for sad or calm moments, and also fast tempo for battle.
Is a theme that makes the demons feel stronger, but encourage you to, as Simon said, to stand resolute against the challenge, in a epic way.

Always love when you change things up, and I noticed that doesn’t just apply to the intro either; I heard quite a few additional tracks mixed in here this time around! The keyboard part was also super great, as always; to be able to jump between instruments and still keep the exact same level of hype going is something I’ve always loved about your music :)
