Tim assembling the furniture with Jackson was so great! I have the best memories of “helping” my dad as a kid. And you totally made him feel included in the new nursery. Well done.
Jackson is so precious, He loves his little brother already, It warms my heart. Jackson is so smart.I remember when he was born and to watch him grow up, Thank you guys so much for welcoming us into your family, I love you guys and I love , Love your videos. I can't wait for the baby to come.
Love that Jackson helped build the nursey and him wanting to pick out his baby brother's first stuffed animal, that's so sweet. It melts my heart how excited Jackson is to become a big brother😍
You guys are wonderful. Jackson is a dream, so sweet reminds me of my grandson, who is also about to get a sibling. I wish there were more people like your family in the world. Love from UK 🇬🇧
I was thinking that you might use one of the walls to document different stages of the new babies life but then i guess you would do that in a photo album. It's amazing the journey you've been on particularly in the last 9 years I've been watching you. From just the two of you and the dogs to a whole family. And how lovely to see Jackson getting so excited that he will soon have a brother.
Daddy and big brother putting together the little guy's furniture was so sweet. What a special memory to have and a great story to tell the new baby some day 💙
Watching this time laps I keep saying to myself “I can’t believe how big Jackson is” to think you guys were putting his furniture together and now Jackson is helping tim for his little brother 😭❤️
So cute to see Jackson so involved with his soon to be new Baby Brother. The nursery looks awesome, I love the furniture and the paint color. The count down has begun...♥️
I vote hang up the inspiration blanket on the accent wall! That would tie it all in and it looks pretty big so could fit well there. So excited for the baby to come!!
I gave birth at 35 weeks and 3 days and got so lucky, my daughter's lungs were at 100 percent when she was born and she didn't need to spend any time in the NICU. She just decided that it was her birthday lol Jen you look great and I'm praying for a safe labor for you and the baby whenever he decides to come!!!
When my granddaughter was born, I took my grandson to find a gift for his new sister and he bought her a stuffed kitty. She is 16 and still has that well loved stuffed. It is so special to her.
Hi Tim and Jen, it was great to see you at Disney Springs on our last day in Orlando before flying back to England. Thank you for taking the time to talk and have a photo with us, really appreciated! Dan & Mel 😊👍
Thank you for sharing this baby journey with us. Jackson gets excited about his baby brother. He's already an awesome big brother! I like the colors of the nursery and look forward to seeing the complete design when you've finished.
I love how the room came out, and I love the art work. It’s going to look perfect. Jackson is adorable with how he wants to do things for baby brother. He is going to be a great big brother.
It’s a very cheerful baby’s room. Love it. Consider a shelf, or picture shelves. They’re great because later on you can put things on them that mean a lot as well as the boy’s artwork.
Wonderful little nursery set-up. Love the colors. You might hang blackout curtains with the rods attached a little above the windows. Then use the white fabric shades to block out some of the light when the baby gets older. And you want curtains opened some. It's getting to be the count down soon. I pray everything goes well for you(Jenn) and the baby. Can't wait for his name to be revealed! I'm hopeful for a "T" first name. My husband and I are J and A names. Our children have J and A names. Best wishes!!!
What a great helper Jackson is! Such a wonderful, adorable little boy!! Personal thought - I wouldn't want to hang anything over/on wall behind the crib. Secured or not. Babys room looks so great!! Everything is coming along and baby is almost here! Yay!
Just an idea, you could hang that blanket as a "tapestry" above the long dresser. Can use it as artwork. It's all coming together! Looks great and I love all the decor so far :)
What we did with our recessed windows was put a blind on the window itself. And then a curtain rod and floor length panels on the "outside" attached to the walls. So you could pull the curtains and create a little cubby behind the curtains. We don't have kids but the cat loved it. He could hide away on the shelf behind the pulled curtains.
Also idea for window: recess blackout shade into window opening for best blackout (Bali may make cut to size at Home Depot; then use curtain rod above window about 4” to hang curtains of your choice of length…this also closes & will absorb sound coming in window.
You definitely can do long curtains on the full window. You just mount the decorative rod on the outside of the window on the painted drywall and let the curtains hit the floor like you would normally do. Just pretend it's a regular window and ignore the inset and It'll look just fine. For the smaller window you can just have a blind cut and made for it. You can also have a small café curtain made for you by a local seamstress.
100% agree with the blackout shades! Our family uses them, and also white noise. We never had to deal with "scary shadows" or scared of the dark issues. I kinda think it was because of the pitch-black bedroom from day 1.
I love the name of the theme, Happy! It does remind of a happy room. Those little places at the window make perfect reading nooks as they get older. Definitely take advantage of it and put some cushions in it. My kids LOVED having little window seats in their rooms.
Highly recommend the blackout cordless cellular shades from Home Depot! So easy to install and can be pushed up and out of the way of little baby hands 😊
The nursery is looking amazing. Check out a home goods for the blanket ladder holder. Also, I think you should look into little sleepies matching pjs for the baby and Jackson.
For the windows you can have the spring loaded blackout shades very close to the window, a little cushion to sit on, and then long floor length see through/airy feeling drapes/curtains that are outside the recess, just a curtain rod overtop or even attached to the ceiling. It'll be gorgeous!
I have a little indented window in my childhood bedroom as well. I have blinds up against the window and then sheer curtains attached to the wall. It made it like a little fort
This is looking fantastic. I say maybe white blinds inside the recessed area and then put your black out curtains on the outside all the way to the floor. It’ll look just fine. You just place the rod at the top of the window area. I think it’s going to be adorable. Can’t wait to see it complete. And I don’t think you’ll make it full term. You look like you’re already dropping a bit.
I would have put the fruit in the mesh inner of your new containers to wash them then you would just pull the containers out the water they would drain off, less chance off bruising the fruit when trying to pick them all up out of the sink. Loving watching Jackson grow, he’s an amazing little fella. 💜
Re the curtains, you can put a curtain rod on the main wall above the windows (a bit wider than the windows). Then hang the blackout curtains on that rod, and they can go to the floor. There would be a curtain panel on each side of the window. You can also have blinds or pull down shades on the actual window in the little alcove in addition to the blackout curtains. :) 😊
Jackson was such a big helper! LOVE watching you put the nursery together! Keep it up! My “baby” is 34, so a long time ago and she came early - yikes! But it all came together! I did that same green with purple, yellow, and blue called JellyBeans bedding. We didn’t have a gender reveal. So excited for you!! Cannot wait. Keep us posted- love the vlogs! Hugs!
Jackson buying his brother a special fluffy toy is so sweet. My daughter just delivered twins (boy/girl) at 36wks a week ago. I need to go visit the store for those sweet stuffed animals at Disney Springs.
Aww, this reminds me of when my son bought my daughter a Jellycat bunny for her first birthday. We named her “Honey Bunny.” My kids are 15 and 11 now, but my daughter still sleeps with Honey Bunny every night. ❤
I learned the "Good Morning" song from watching your videos, and I've been singing it to my 8 month old son every single morning since he was born! 🥰♥️
That blanket for the babies room is so pretty! You could totally get a beautiful blanket shelf/hanger/rod and hang it on the accent wall and use it as an art piece.
Thank you for the veggie bin and cleaner idea. I have been searching for those exact items so I ordered them and can’t wait to test them out. The baby’s room is so beautiful. It just gives such a peaceful feel. Baby is going to be so blessed to have such a great big brother as Jackson. ❤❤
My children are now in college but when my second child was born, my son who was three, built a Build a Bear for her and we recorded his little voice saying "I love you baby." I still have that bear and the voice still works! I love pressing it myself to hear his 3 year old voice!
Jackson will be such a great big brother! We went to Olive Garden last night! The fettuccine Alfredo is so good! The alfredo sauce is better than other places we've had it at.
We have blackout curtains in all our bedrooms. Love the darkness and do not like the sun coming in through the window in the am!! Plus it sometimes helps my kiddos sleep in.
Please buy 2 rabbit blankets very good tip ! They get run down, one gets lost or is in the wash. This can save lots of thiers . Lots of love Gabriella from Belgium
You can absolutely cover those windows however you want! Put sheers in the recessed area, then the to the floor blackout curtains outside of the recessed area. Thanks for all you do Trackers! Best wishes for baby!
Yep, kids that age are such a "help!' Ha ha! So great to make him a part of all of this process. Praying for a healthy final phase of the pregnancy and the little guys!

“The sun is up, the sky is blue, it’s beautiful, and so are you” - the Beatles. Great song and artwork.

Love that Jackson helped build the nursey and him wanting to pick out his baby brother's first stuffed animal, that's so sweet. It melts my heart how excited Jackson is to become a big brother😍
I love the time lapse with Jackson helping Tim. Reminds me of how I used to always wanna be with my dad when he was building stuff.
The new theme of the nursery = HAPPY! Love it. I love the colors and how they do seem to represent happiness.
You guys are wonderful. Jackson is a dream, so sweet reminds me of my grandson, who is also about to get a sibling. I wish there were more people like your family in the world. Love from UK 🇬🇧

Jackson is getting so big. He is the best big brother.
I think Jackson & Wyatt would be the cutest names together 💗
I think the name might be Brady or something that starts with B because when they go to say "brother" they stumble their words.
Brilliant watching Jackson building furniture with Tim x
So cute to see Jackson so involved with his soon to be new Baby Brother. The nursery looks awesome, I love the furniture and the paint color. The count down has begun...♥️
Loving the way Jackson is helping for his little brother ! The baby’s bedroom looks so nice , it’s the colour of my living room , very soothing!
you may want to get a floor lamp to put next to your chair for late night/early morning times. Cute room, love the colors
I vote hang up the inspiration blanket on the accent wall! That would tie it all in and it looks pretty big so could fit well there. So excited for the baby to come!!
I love the nursery. It's beachy with a happy vibe. Jenn, I am so glad you haven't had any trouble with this pregnancy.

I learned the "Good Morning" song from watching your videos, and I've been singing it to my 8 month old son every single morning since he was born! 🥰♥️
I love the nursery theme! Perfect for a Florida babe 💙💛🧡
You could do some blackout Roman blinds! I think they would inset well inside that window and still give you the feeling of curtains
That blanket for the babies room is so pretty! You could totally get a beautiful blanket shelf/hanger/rod and hang it on the accent wall and use it as an art piece.

My wife and I just watched the vlog and we love how the nursery is coming along, and that burger from Deluxe burger looked super yummy
I cannot watch a home vlog that doesn’t start with HOME VLOOOOOG!
I would hang the blanket up on the wall (you could even get it framed) 🖼️ Would work well on the crib wall
