forgot to mention what really makes this camera as well as the Sony HX50v stand out is the new ExmorR processor - amazing low light ability for such a little camera and small sensor. Worth it for that alone. The design of the ExmorR allows for 40% more light onto the sensor. WX300 has the same housing design as the RX100/M2 - So if size is very important like small pockets or purse then WX300 else get the Sony HX50V at 30X for a bit more and a little bit larger. Video is awesome
@7:40 you talk about an "CPU access" indicator lamp hidden in the battery compartment. I think it's actually the warning lamp telling you the SD card is in writing mode and NOT to eject the battery or memory card. Why else would they stick it there? You may be confusing it with a buffer warning lamp.
I have this exact same model of camera. It's great! However, just recently, the lens cover sometimes wont open up completely. A little bit of it is shown in your videos and pics. So just be sure its not visible when snapping pics or recording video. :)

I have never used a tripod with my camera, but I'm looking into buying one soon. The autofocus does exist while shooting video, and it's decent unless something fast moves by. But even then, for it's price range, the auto focus is pretty good. Take a look at this channel's videos... all my videos are shot with the WX300. And remember... I'm no professional at taking videos or editing them, so please be kind. Thanks. :)

At no time we could not see the lens when it is opened? something to hide? Nothing about charging the battery? What is the battery charger or USB charger in the package? Can be recharged via USB on PS?

There's some really dodgy function descriptions, and waffling when it comes to something he doesn't understand. In fact, some of it is hopelessly wrong. He should have just talked about what he understands and kept it short.
The camera can process the RAW file to a 4k still an straight to a 4k tv. It's just a marketing gimmick. It doesn't shoot 4k video or have the ability to extract a 4k still from 4k video (which is the latest technical achievement) like the panasonic GH4 or LX100, so there is no real advantage. Anyone can post process any RAW image to 4k still, with the right software. If you are wanting to show an image on a super hi-res 4k screen, why would you want to show it straight-out-of-camera? Any photo coming out of a small-sensor compact camera would (at minimum) need some type of post processing to be worthy of displaying.

Whats the difference between this one and the WX350?
How big can the sdhc card can be? I see yours comes with a 4Gb card, maybe it can take an 8gb card?
Just bought this camera. If you live in USA/Canada, the camera doesn't come with a power cord like in the video, so don't freak out.

This camera does not shoot 4k video. You may want to look at the Panasonic LX100. Currently, the only 4k capable semi-compact.
