Thanks for mentioning intrusive thoughts and anxiety. I am sorry that you are having to deal with it. One thing that really helped me was realising that it was common and that I wasn't a terrible person and I wasn't going crazy. I hope you continue to put videos up throughout Dec as it's so nice to have a video pop up that's not Xmas related. That's all I seem to be getting bombarded with from other RUclipsrs at the moment!! But I understand if you need a break, do what's best for you and your little family. Lots of love. X❤
I had my little ones 30 years ago and yes, the intrusive thoughts were terrible. My doctor attributed it to hormones. His advice: walk 30 minutes daily, cut out the caffeine, have someone to talk to, and because he knew I am a woman of faith, he said to join a bible study group. ♥️🙏♥️ Hang in there, it will pass. If you can’t give up coffee, do decaf. Calming teas helped a lot. Also that product Calm is amazing 🙏♥️
Love your content. It’s so refreshing to watch a channel that focuses on the simple things in life and family. You have helped me pause and appreciate little things like a cup of coffee or lighting a candle. Thank you! I giggled when you said “big summer blow out” 😊 You are not alone with the fearful thoughts Have a good day!
I struggled with my four kids with postpartum depression and anxiety. On my fifth I was terrified I would get again. 5 years had past since giving birth. After birth I told him I was anxious and the doctor told me to repeat three things every day. Everyday gets better and better. My body gets better and better everyday. Marriage is doing life with your best friend. That was 2021 and I still say them. Loved the video. ❤Keep it up!😊
Happy Monday Audrey, family, and fur babies. EVERYTHING IS EXPENSIVE IN THE WORLD. Ridiculous. Getting in Shape Audrey. Like your nails, and I am glad you do self care for you. Enjoy your day! STTB
I'm finally all caught up on your videos! 😊 Your babies are just so cute! Lydia's sweet smile! 😍 Gosh, I miss having babies! Editing to add: The post partum anxiety is horrible! I had it 15 years ago when my second baby was born. I remember having this awful fear that someone was going to kill us (my husband and myself) and take our two boys. I voiced it to my husband, and he thought I was a little crazy. But it was crazy intense, and the fear I felt was all the way to my core. It's tough! Sending hugs and prayers of peace! ❤
I don’t get anxiety Pp, I get euphora, but I do get it after kidney stones. My husband got it after his military injury. I think it’s a natural defense mechanism after a traumatic physical thing.
I had postpartum anxiety I believe. And I had anxiety prior to having my daughter too. A therapist or Doctor could assist more with than me of course. But going for walks outside help me- it’s awesome you do that, I love nature. Also breathing techniques, work out (which I need to do more) and looks like you’re doing that! You’re kicking butt! I appreciate you sharing your life. I love caffeine and I usually have two cups most days too. Even though it could make anxiety worse not sure how much caffeine for that to affect someone with anxiety? I also deal with trauma and some other things. It’s nice you’re so open and vulnerable. You give me more hope and inspire me! Best wishes to you and your family. ❤If I hear of any more tips I’ll share! May you have a blessed day. 🌸
Wow 😯 thank you 🥹 yes, I think caffeine is definitely a factor! I was fighting an infection from Breast I didn’t realize until after! Thank you again 🥰
You’re welcome! I hope you’re feeling better now and the infection is gone! I also breast feed my daughter. She’ll be two in March. Good for you for doing that, there’s so many good benefits!
I had the unfortunate history of having worked at a cemetery for 7 years before I had kids. When I had my first one it’s like all the ways I could die came rushing over me. It was horrible. Understanding that thinking about the possibilities of death are my primitive brain’s natural defense mechanism. I literally say out loud thank you brain for trying to protect us, but we are okay, I’ll take over from here. Sounds a bit crazy but it helps!
Josiah kissing Lydia was so precious 🥹🥹
😁
I’ve noticed I get those bad thoughts when I’ve drank too much caffeine in the day !
That makes sense, thanks you!
Love all your music on your vlogs. Seems like you are finding a good rhythm. Always enjoy your content! 😀
Thanks so much! 😊
The nails are fabulous!
It's always a delight to catch up with and your cute little family.
You are so kind
That I would mention that I have noticed my anxity is much worse when I do to much caffeine. Something to think about....❤
I had to stop caffeine entirely. My tolerance is almost nil now that I’m in my 50’s. It causes anxiety and palpitations for me 😢
Yes !! I will consider it for sure .. thank you 😌
Please consider letting up on the coffee (at least the caffeine)
You can always go caffeine free.. and cut down bit that's what I did. Dairy free chocolate. And breathe xx😊
Aah Yes the constant worrying smth will happen to you or the kids. I can definitely relate!
Thank you ☺️
