This was an excellent topic! Growing up in a home with unachievable expectations and abuse can create a difficult situation of unlearning the toxicity you know and sometimes cling to because of familiarity. It's also important to remember that our emotions will lie to us and I believe those moments are opportunities for a Godly woman to lean on the Lord and take control of her emotions as we're supposed to. But it can come with so many challenges and discouragements along the way! Keeping our sights on God makes so much difference in these moments! ❤

I struggle with rage and getting overstumulated as well. I hate yelling/swatting my kids as it always made them and me feel worse. I will try the breathing techniques starting today!

Hello I have watched many of your videos. I am in between. I sometimes take breaks from work. But most of the time I work past time or full time. When we have babies I most likely won’t fulltime. We have a small place and it’s only us. But how making means the world to me. I love cooking,decorating and all things girly. I also want our home to be a safe space. When we have a family I want us to eat dinner together at the table etc

It’s important to remember we made our marriage vows not just to our spouse, it’s a vow to God too!

I remember seeing an interview with Maria Shriver and she was asking her mom for advice. Her mom said, “you can have it all, you just can’t have it all at once.”

I only recently heard the “trad wife” term. I was blessed to be able to be a stay at home mom (by living extremely frugal). We are Christians and my husband and are basically a “team”. God is the center of our lives. So- apparently, I have been a “trad wife” without knowing it! 😂. Personally, I don’t need a label, nor do I care what others think. My goal is to live a God honoring life. There is wonderful wisdom in the book of Titus in the Bible on how older women are to be examples to younger woman. As an older woman, I hope I am a good example. Everything we do, we should do it as if we are doing it for God- which ultimately we are. I think it is important to help my younger mom friends by helping and encouraging them.

I love this format and I believe you found your thing, I think you excel with this type of format and sharing your viewpoint🩷 great job.

In Genesis 2:20 we see that God recognised that man had no helper to compliment him. That is why women were created. It is no wonder women find fulfilment and joy in this roll, we are programmed that way! Anyone who feels that this is negative, restrictive or unfair, doesn't understand the real definition of a "biblical" or "traditional" wife. It's not what the world wants us to think it is.

If you think the grass is greener on the other side, water your own grass!! I love this. It can be applied to so much in life!

This is very helpful for me. I am muslim but I was raised as a feminist and my family was ruled by women. I decided to become a homemaker after university (much to my family's despair, especially my dad's). What I saw online seemed extremely unrealistic and made me feel bad ("what's wrong with ME?!") lol so thank you for this video. I am soo happy I have become more religious and made this choice to nurture my husband, my kids, my home ; it's mostly amazing but it's not always roses and butterflies like it's often portrayed online 😅
