    Glad you went with a sensible option and got yourself a SJ V Pro not the Major. I did the same after 3 previous Mazzers - mini, mini electronic and SJ electronic.
    SJ VPro is an underrated gem not many people know about, my best grinder so far, and I also own Option-O P64 and Weber Key.
    The fluffiness, the lack of lumps, the consistency, the ease of use. Basically a Major mini-me.
    I can’t sing enough praises and more odes to it…best money ever spent on a grinder.

    Very nice grinder! I was looking for a white one but can’t find it and so far it looks like this will be my next grinder!

    Thank you for this video, I’m trying to decide on the best upgrade for my 16 year old Mazzer Mini. The Super Jolly V Pro & Up are on the short list.

      Hi Sheila, thanks for the comment! That’s a decent age for a Mini. The SJ V Pro is quite an upgrade for sure!

    Beautiful bar and set up! I read the description that you are using light roasted beans. How's the acidity when pairing light roast with this grinder? Thank you so much. Love your channel. 🙏

      Hi Damian, the burrs are the exact same burrs I've had in my Mazzer Mini A and they're great. I'll talk about them in my blog post (I'm still in the process of writing). They are very similar to SSP HUs, they're doing really well with light roasts. I'd recommend these (Mazzer 233M) over SSP HUs, especially given their price. Thank you!

    Jaroslav, i saw the mazzer kony jg in a video from the host of Milan. Do you know something about it?

      Hi! I know everything I could read about it, haven’t had my hands on it yet. Really nice evolution of the Kony S.

      @@Jaroslav. would be interesting between the Mahlkönig e65s gbw. But the mazzer looks much better in my eyes.

      @@frankmeyer1865 Both are commercial grinders, Kony S would outperform E65S very quickly. E65S can’t grind at the same pace as Kony S, it needs breaks between doses. Kony S can just go, kilo after kilo.

    Hello , do you mind telling me where you purchased the custom longer legs? Thanks you

    • @Jaroslav.
      @Jaroslav.  Год назад +1

      Hi Karina, I bought them from Grafikus Coffeetec. I’m actually selling mines, as I took them off and won’t be needing them. Send me an e-mail to business@jaroslav.io if you’re interested, they’re like new.

    Just curious. You used both the 033m as the 233m burrs right? What’s your take on te difference.

    • @Jaroslav.
      @Jaroslav.  Год назад

      That’s correct! The first notable difference is that 233M grind much faster. The flavor profile is very similar to SSP HUs. The 233M seem to handle lighter medium roasts better than 033M (which frankly weren't too bad). I can't tell the difference in cup between SSP HUs and 233M burrs, but can definitely tell the 033M apart from those two. The 033M present acidity in a sharp way, you taste fruity acidity as sharp sourness rather than actual sweet/acidic flavor that you'd associate with fruits. The 233M is a step above that, they provide at least as much clarity as SSP HUs. I think there's no reason to get the old 033M burrs anymore, it seems Mazzer doesn't even offer these with any of their grinders currently. Even the old SJ comes with 233M now, it seems 033M sets were made obsolete. I'd also get 233M burrs over SSP HUs if I had to make the choice again, they perform really well for espresso. Sadly, the 233M burrs weren't available when I got my HUs.

      @@Jaroslav. Awesome. 233's are hard to find though. A lot are selling 033 but advertise 233. I now sadly only have the 033 which is on test level compareable to the mignon xl i had before.
      Other question. those magnets to hold your barista cards against. those are not coming with the grinders right? Love them

      @Jaroslav.  Год назад

      @@KayintVeen I can recommend Blue Star Coffee (.ie) if you want the 233M burrs. The newer Mazzers (including Mini) come with new hopper lids and magnets too 😊
