The more I listen to this song the more I appreciate the mind who suggested including it in the Netflix popular ‘The Ranch’. It seems so appropriate somehow. I know there are plethora of country songs out there but still this seems right. I am lucky to have come across this masterpiece 👏🏻🤟🏻👌🏻
Don't Runaway Midnight Hideaway Don't you - Fadeaway! 'til the Morning light I see you from my window In the shadows of the night You're standing on Love Street On the beat, of better things Yeah! I'll see you standin' there You don't care, anymore And love in your life Stabbin' knife in my heart Yeah! Yeah! I'll see you!
Joseph Bononno I saw them when they opened for U2 on the Joshua Tree Tour. Even met them after the concert. I think they probably thought we were teenage stalkers lol
Love their LIVE album/cd which I had a hard time to locate but was worth it. Played it in my Tundra pickup ofen. Violin, or is it fiddle, was a good addition.
Well, I commented over two years ago, that if these guys came down around my neck of the woods that I would be first in line to get tickets. Don't know if I was first in line, but got my wife and I tickets for the 16th of November. Been eagerly anticipating this show for quite a while.
He's played on quite a few records, I've been listening to music by artists other than JM, and thought that sounds like Kenny A on drums, then I look it up and sure enough.
All versions are epic in my opinion - they were not given due credit back in 90's for their talent..... sad. Not knowing what blew em apart initially, I just wonder if they'd had been compensated more fairly both for their musicianship and subsequently financially, if that would have made a difference in the band dynamics and cohesion. I miss their clean energy.
It's a tough life on the road trying to be a world famous band. Takes sooo many years to become a household name and become engraved into multi generational souls. I got to see them live once and the band will live on with me forever.
True. Can't tell if he's playing a strat or a telle with no pick guard. Pretty much my all time favorite electric guitar sound on this song, whenever they play it. Where's Sammy, btw?
Wait, NVM. It's got that weird little bevel or whatever on the bottom right edge of the body, so it's a strat. Also don't think they've ever made telecasters with tremolo bars, but I could be wrong about that.
