He was an optional companion for Rexxar found in the firs act of the Founding of Durotar campaign titled 'To tame a land'. This pre-dated Kung Fu Panda by about 4 years so they had the idea first.

In the Neverwinter game it's stated that her dragon cultists actually get brought back to life by her after players kill them.... repeatedly, daily, by the dozen. There's actually a dialog thing where you have a conversation with an NPC about how the Dragon Cult hasn't been wiped out yet when hundreds of them get killed every hour. So Tiamat has some good qualities. Oh and Warlocks have a quest where they have to go to Acheron to prove their skills as a Warlock.

She thinks that the Horde are either dimwits, or competition. :p If you look at the "languages you wish you could speak" or "skills you can't believe you had to unlock" videos, you'll see a character presumably created by Jane named "Jeynaria" who seems to be an elf mage. That seems to be an example of the sort of look Jane likes.
In a way they're similar.... Not really the same though. Especially if you look at the "Kiryu" Mechagodzilla. It's sort of a robot, but built using the skeleton of a dead Godzilla(there was more than one and someone found a dead one). Kiryu well.... it was kinda possessed by the ghost of the original Godzilla or something.
Doom is one of my earliest gaming memories. The 2016 game was absolutely amazing combining the right amount of nostalgia and innovation to draw old and new gamers alike. So its always fun to hear people talk and enjoy it as well.

Acheron and Tiamat are actually fantasy things as well. In D&D lore, Acheron is a layer of the Nine Hells, and Tiamat is the dragon goddess of Evil.

Build engine games require you to switch weapons constantly 😄 And Serious Sam without a doubt. Definitely an era of puzzle-like shooting mania.
I quite enjoy these looks back at somewhat older games. Reminds me of my backlog that I should really play through before buying more new games to set on the shelf and get distracted from. Doom 2016 is in fact, one of those games.
