im glad im not the only one that noticed that! the amount of attention-to-detail the devs put into their game is mind-boggling. i cant recall the last time i played a game with the same level of care put into it as this one. hell, even the opening mission left me speechless. this is the only game ive played in who knows how long where i wanna start a new game, even if new game+ isnt available yet. i hope when we do receive the update in december (potential option to change symbiote color and weather), it reverts the voicelines too. i love Yuri's voice work in the black suit!
Yeah it kinda freaked me out when I was fighting Kraven and I could hear the voices through my controller much more clearly. That was seriously creative for the developers.
One absent detail that would've impressed me is if Peter's spider sense wouldn't activate when up against Venom. It would be consistent with Venom's character that he doesn't trigger it. But that's not only not implemented in the fight against him, it's never brought up either. This is still cool though.

Something I noticed during my playthrough and haven’t seen anyone mention before was that right before kraven when fighting the hunters, if you don’t move at all or touch your controller, Peter just fights on his own. Idk if anyone else has seen this or if I’m just crazy but I swear that happened and it was the coolest and freakiest detail I’d ever seen in the whole game
At which point exactly I haven’t seen this yet and in Symbiote surge mode I already know you can’t die so I taken a few short break’s snacking and haven’t seen anything like this technically you can just keep spamming square as Symbiote surge mode is literally automatic finshers and tendril attacks.

It is alive, it is an actual part of Venom himself. But Martin Li’s power got rid of the voices when he imbued the symbiote with it. It’s still very much alive, but it’s entirely under Peter’s control, instead of the other way around.

I could totally see a plot line in the future with Eddie. But it would probably end up being too complicated because of the multitude of hosts. And Venoms presumed "death".

The movesets for the Symbiote Surge between the Black Suit and the Anti-venom Auit are night and day, the Black suit feels more feral and impulsive. The Anti-Venom Suit feels more controlled and precise. The Anti-Venom Suit feels like Peter.

I don’t like that the antivenom rage still causes Peter to become super brutal, because he’s not losing control anymore, so he shouldn’t be slamming people into the floor and punching them into next week.

Kinda sad they completely cut Eddie Brock out of the Venom/Anti-Venom plot line, but I get it was for the player to be them.
