Yes you are correct. We originally used only 5 cups coconut milk but in the end we decided to add 3 more cups because the dawa was still very raw.

I made another batch but this time, i cooked the millet just like cooking rice. I then boiled coconut milk with the sugar and vanilla as per your recipe and added the cooked millet. It was already ready to eat even before rolling it in banana leaves. I just steamed it to infuse the fragrance of the banana leaves. It came out perfect. Thank you for sharing.
