Thank you for taking the time to make these videos. The tips you give are fueling me along on my first 500 gallon Rev. Flow smoker build. Your ability to explain your teachings are top notch and are understandable and easily perceived. You've saved me many hours of scratching my head wondering how. For that, I want to give you a Texas sized thanks....
Thank you so much for the kind words!! Don't hesitate to reach out if I can help in any way. Either through the website mysticsmokers.com or via email at mysticsmokers@gmail.com

G'day Mike I have thoroughly enjoyed your build, your eye for detail is second to none, i work in the same way. Looking forward to building my own smoker here in Australia. Would you be so kind to tell me what size expander mesh you use on the racks, size of the holes and thickness cause your codes in America could be different to here. Looking forward to more videos from you Grant
@christinehebiton4126 See if this helps. This table gives all of the dimensions. You'll likely have to convert from bananas to metric. I hate that we don't use metric here. www.marcospecialtysteel.com/product-categories/expanded-metal/flattened/#table
I am slowly building a 330. Are using 1 1/4" angle for both the slides and the grates? Or are the grates 1" angle? Thanks for your time. Thanks for the bands for doors they worked great. I appreciate your videos.
I’m curious about the title of the trailer. Do you get a title just based on the trailer itself or do you get a title based on the entire thing being completed as it is one full unit?
@@heytheremogwai I assume you mean tag/registration. The process varies from state to state. In Georgia, we register the trailer as a home built trailer.
Its very simple. Just weld a pipe nipple to the end of the tank and attach a brass gate valve. Look on the mysticsmokers.com website for photos or my Facebook profile. I use 2 inch nipples and valves. m.facebook.com/story.php?story_fbid=pfbid0Kyj6oZNGNQBZtCayggZ4pNbXTnUraXq9R6NNVomqCoVp53EF84DLnk1hYnskuKSKl&id=100034795235839&mibextid=Nif5oz
@dustinscroggins3382 I mentioned briefly in the beginning of this episode that those are for a grill option. They are removable. I left them in during the build because they are a great tool tray. Lol
Ahhhh thats what i thought very nice build, i have watched this series a few times i am gearing up for a 250 build my self, well as soon as i find a tank of course. That has.proved much more difficult in my area than i thought

Lol. I can't believe I didn't mention that.
3/4"× #9guage flattened expanded metal
Would that be 3/4x1/2 or 2" ,we don't have #9gauge I guess that would be about 1/8th thanks

Thanks Mike ,that's perfect, much appreciated,
Look after yourself
how to tell if an air compressor tank is galvanized or safe for cooking
Thank you sir

I use 1.25" angle 0:20 for everything. 1" is too weak and will sag over time. I use 3/16" thick material.
@mikencrcf6018 Thanks! I appreciate the videos. Grates are being built this weekend. I am building a 288. Thanks again !
Have you ever cooked chiken quarters on this bbq pit ,if so how many peases fit im looking for a set up for about 50 /75 peases in one cook

hey mike great vid, how much do you think your smoker weighs?
1,245 lbs without the trailer.
Mike question on this build,What are the lower grates for in this cooker??

Are you putting the grate 1” above center line?
1.25" actually.
The grate slides are at the center line.
The grates are 1.25" tall and they sit on the slides.
Do you ever install a propane system in your cookers?
Yep. Easy peasy. I haven't done one in many years though. The trend lately seems to be high airflow stick burners.
What’s the cost to get one of these built Sir?
