Another consideration worth mentioning too, if you are planning on cross cutting that board, go ahead and do it before milling and you’ll likely salvage some of that thickness! Thanks for the video!
Also saw that. Think it happened because the planer's rollers removed the remaining warp, that is where the wedges was not supporting the board and it sprang back when it was removed. So if it is possible one should plane with virtually no pressure from the rollers/feeders?
I like your videos. They're short and to the point. It looks to me from all these miles away is that board looks like it isn't the same thickness across the length, and may even still have some cupping issues. It could still be a nice piece of wood to work with, but it's going to be less than 5/8" when it is. Great content. Thank you.

Good point. Appreciate the support!
Do you have a video that addresses snipe with a thickness planer?
That board still looks warped when it's sitting on your bench. Am I missing something?

Sharp eyes. The end of the board is a bit twisted; but the majority of it is flat.
A jointer does a better job and much quicker.
Don’t teach bad habits.
Twisted boards sometimes aren’t worth the trouble. The twist is a sign.

Hot glue seems like a good idea, sometimes I tend to overlook using hot glue for stuff.
