2:12 Personally, I would’ve said “Show the guy on the phone, then you have the sound of a racetrack, the thing with the hand and the corporate logo that kinda looks like a xylophone… That’ll work.”
I think it could’ve been “Show the guy on the phone, then you have the sound of a racetrack, the thing with the hand, and the stupid bars with a rainbow in ‘em. That’ll work.”
Talking of logo plasters, don't even get me started on the FremantleMedia logos. While they did keep *most* of the old logos like the Yorkshire TV logos for Bruce's Price is Right and the LWT logo for Play Your Cards Right - also hosted by the late, great Bruce Forsyth, as well as the ending logos for Birds of a Feather, both BBC and ITV, they still plastered some logos, and that logo started to get on my nerves. It does my head in because I wanna see some old logos. When I saw that they plastered some old logos for reruns of old shows on Chase TV... I mean Challenge, e.g. Strike It Lucky, Fremantle had to come in, take these old logos and replaced it with a boring new Fremantle logo. Logo plastering tends to be annoying, and I feel the same way as you do.
Logo plastering is also pretty stupid too because it makes some older logos rare or downright impossible and difficult to find, like the infamous TAT Communications logo that's only been partially found, and because there's no point I'd say another worse case of logo plastering would be when AAP bought some of the pre-1950 library to the Popeye The Sailor Man Cartoons produced between 1933-1950 or 1949. They completely butchered the titles by adding in a poorly placed logo by completely removing the Paramount logo and trying to remove any credits or mentions of Paramount (I know this was done at Paramount's request but luckily unlike U.M. & M they didn't fo this to the master film reels meaning that the original titles have been restored) and don't get me started on U.M. & M who when they got the library to the Betty Boop cartoons they did the horrid thing of instead of just making copies of the original films they chose make the stupid decision of cutting off the original Paramount logos (making them lost media) by replacing the logo and plastering it with their own crappy logo same case when NTA bought out U.M. & M they did the same thing adding their logo to the prints as evidenced by another copy of Accordion Joe which preserves the rest of the audio unlike the U.M. & M print. Sadly it's hard to find the original Paramount logos for the Betty Boop cartoons due to the horrid logo plastering. If anything one thing the two companies shared in common was sloppily adding new titles to the prints they made as well as cut off the the closing titles with AAP it was worse cause the opening titles would cut off half of the opening theme to Popeye as evidenced by the uploads here on RUclips. Especially those cartoons in the Public Domain. Sorry for the long comment just wanted to state this.
I have ideas for you. 1: Puz's perplexing Friday (feat. Blacki and brodey.) And 2: Puz on adult swim with Puz's logos of idiocrocy and s**t, guest interviews Puz talks (about crappy things that actually happened.) And da GAMEZZZ! And also hello!
I was quite curious on why you suddenly stopped the longer videos, and that reason is probably quite understandable. Sometimes I just run out of ideas for no reason at all too. But hey at least you came up with something now.
Warner has made some horrific plasters before. Newer prints of Lethal Weapon 4 are one of their big examples. Lethal Weapon 4's 1998 75th Anniversary logo variant was replaced with the 2003 logo, but Warner was too lazy to recreate the explosion effect, so they basically made a terrible fade out transition and then boom, the explosion of the actual logo variant comes in

And that’s when the audience cracks up
They should've kept in the "stupid" part
I think it could’ve been “Show the guy on the phone, then you have the sound of a racetrack, the thing with the hand, and the stupid bars with a rainbow in ‘em. That’ll work.”
As a person who has a love for logos, this is very true

Good thing the 2002 based Kids logo is still intact on "Grojband"...
Out of all the 1,000 of logos SPT they plaster
Why does T.A.T have to be one of them
Bcz people haven’t found early tapes of “1 Day @ a Time”
1:21 that logo is still used to this day including the Starz print of Spider-Man: No Way Home (2021)
i think that's one of the last things to have it since they've changed the logo now

1:03 this logo annoyed the mess out of people whenever the music comes on
There was an old 20th Century Fox over 20th Century Pictures, Inc. logo plaster if that qualifies.
personally after the goddamn spts logo rolled around i dont really mind the spt bars logo anymore.
I'm glad they kept the old MGM logo on the Tom and Jerry shorts.
Wow, the plaster at 3:13 is an epic fail!
