  • Hi Sim Enthusiasts !
Had an issue whereby the side monitors were displaying a horrible graphic in XP12. Managed to work it out with it being a resolution variance to the front monitor. Hope this helps anyone else that may have encountered something similar in their multi-monitor setup.

Yeah, thats a known issue on the forums. Your performance may go up slightly now you have reduced resolution also. I guess you were 1/3 of the way to your desired triple 1440p without even realising it

To be honest I havent really noticed anything different on the front screen.

That looks to be really amazing; may I ask you about something about the triple monitor setup? I'm currently using one 37" 4K tv, which I'm fully satisfied of, but thinking of an upgrade to 3 - thanks in advance

No problem. Is your question whether to upgrade? In my opinion flight sims are always better with 3 screens as you can always see either side without switching views.

Thanks, I'm sure if that, hoping non to have too many impacts on fps and overall graphic quality; actually I'm interested in knowing a bit more about the setup (how to do it), not easy to find something so far; anyway, very nice video (and the others as well), enjoy your 3 displays 😉

@@user-kz4ze4lv9n HI mate. Any increase in pixel numbers will increase load on a single machine. Single 4K = (3840 x 2160 = 8.29M pixels), Triple 4K = (8.29M pixels x 3 = 24.87M) a considerablly lot more for a grahpics card to manage, particularly if you want to maintain a good FPS (min 30 FPS) with no stutter. I have my 3090Ti in FS2020 running 4K at front, 2K on sides and tend to get about 30FPS. I find that for my GA flying really playable. XP12 not as good on performance so some further optimisation required there. Hope this helps somewhat. I did do a video on this (for XP12)....ruclips.net/video/F7nHx7YNrhA/видео.htmlsi=IGBVAqu1wZQ1uRCd

Are you experiencing any pixelation with the reduced resolution on your front 4K display?

Nothing that I have noticed, but certainly feel that moving to 2K all round will be a good uplift.
