2:42 the nose caught I have this same problem; your gonna have shift all the way to back (may be close your stance as much as your comfortable w/ n cheat all the way back) to the tail block and use the back 1/3 of the board to make that turn.
In slow mo you can just make out his feet placement whilst pausing and playing. it looks like your front foot(heel) was too close to the rail hence why it bogged and caught on the nose. If his front foot wasn’t so close to the rail his feet placement looked fine and was far back enough. I would also recommend getting/trying different fins which would help with turns, ones with slightly less fin base the the original machado fins
Again seaside great board, gotta ride with a smooth feeling, lite on your feet, keep low center gravity, drop back knee and bend front knee, open arms on turns.. Smooth
You probably needed to sit your hips down more and look back into the wave the direction you wanted to turn and point that lead arm the same direction That being said looks like you improving 🤙🏾

Great waves! Beautiful morning, great work getting up that early too after a late night. I feel like most of the time when the front rail bogs it's because of not enough back foot pressure and/or feet in the wrong place. Try that same turn but drive with your back foot, maybe 80% of the weight, all the way back on the tail pad, and you won't bury your rail. Of course, the better or more powerful of a section, the harder you can turn off your back foot. But it looks like you had the speed to push hard on the back foot. If the section is too fat, a little more pressure on the front feet helps.

Thanks braddah! Appreciate that feedback. I hate falling for no reason

@@77pebble very helpful! 🙏🏾🤙🏾. I can’t afford new fins so will have to work on that foot placement

More smooth …. Got it thanks 🙏🏾 😀
Nice thumbnail shot! 🤙🏾

Also you should get a board mount for your GoPro so you can see your body moving while surfing, I think it can help
Those are the worst angles and it shakes a lot more
Yea not really wanting to stick GoPro mounts on my boards but to each their own. No gopro mounts for me tho. 🤙🏾

Appreciate those tips. I think I got overly stoked after the first 2 turns. Went too aggressive when the wave wasn’t steep enough. Thnx braddah

@@foxgd9117🙏🏾🙏🏾🤙🏾. Thanks. Yea I definitely took the pressure off the back foot that last wave

Much thanks on the tip with the back foot pressure. I’m pretty certain that was the issue. Will try and remember for next time…🙏🏾🤙🏾
Of course! You’re killing it, keep up the stoke!
Also think we surf the same wave, I surf it sometimes, if I think I see you I’ll say hi!
@@julianzook8748 for sure. I’m easy to spot with the go pro in my mouth 😎🏄♂️
