I LOVE ROBERT CRAY Best concert I've ever been to. He is so natural on that guitar I believe he was born with it in his hands. He is one of the best players and singer/song writers ever.I love how his songs all tell a story and seem to come from his heart.Just can't say enough about him and his talents. Thanks for this post!

Shout out to my mom and dad in Heaven for introducing me to this genius all those years ago! ❤
This is one of the most genius song titles for a blues song from the awesomely underrated blues legend Robert Cray
i have seen this man over a dozen times. He is an incredible performer. It seems like the note just flow from his fingers.
I’m So Jealous 😢🎸
Always liked Robert Cray.
Congratulations on 32 years with your wife, Robert. I've felt the rain/forecast, but never as strongly as your band & the videographer you guys hired made it posquibble to experience. A DalianBravo!
Thank You 🙏 Robert Cray 🥰
robert cray i have seen him 5 times one of the best and most underrated guitarest of all time.ive lived his songs.because theirs consequences for what we do just awesome
I just listened to consequences before this one.
Awesome as always. She reminds me of Sue Foley.
'Coffee for my breakfast - shot of whiskey on the side' - great opening line!
Ever since I first heard this awesome song on the radio about twenty years ago, I've periodically woken up with it going through my head. Sure got some staying power!
Man this is some slick stuff :)
If you ever get a chance to see him live.....GO...it is an awesome experience. I saw him many times when he was beginning his career in Eugene, Oregon....so so many years ago....I'm talking 1973....Wow! He is a true talent.
great lyrics, great music, AND the Memphis Horns!!!!
Goddam yr smooth, dude.
Robert was just what I needed in the 90's! Thanks, Phillip Frady, for turning me onto, Robert Cray!
I have known Robert since I was 14 years old!
Love hime far too deep
Paddle
This tune grounds me. So well written!
haven't heard this beautifully soul inspired song since the late 80,s.what a gem
I discovered Robert Cray in 1986 when I first got into the blues. He is a smooth musician.
saw him in bay area twice. top notch blues!!!!! the brass add's so much!!!
robert cray rocks!
great song rock blues
Love the groove he gets in this song. The Great Robert Cray
Don't know why I can't get enough RC he is just too cool and tells a story like no other man can! Love him X My baby's turnin cold and the forecast calls for pain! X He's great in concert too sounds just like his CD's a hard thing to accomplish! ♥
Robert cray randy Craig there's actually 2 blues guitarists legends with the same short 2 letter names RC : RC btw I uploaded every album from the RC Yetter band and RC Yetter and Riviera paradise go check them out they are epic and this band Robert cray.
Robert Cray is like ice cream melting on your tongue, starts off kind of cold, get's real cool, then a sensation of real sweet.
Nice imagery.
Robert has an amazing voice and equally great chops. The tone is amazing but it is so simple. Its just a hardtail strat' into a fender twin.
I could listen to this for hours.
Agreed, a superb mix on this track. Of course, it doesn't hurt that this band plays so well and that Cray was gifted with the perfect voice to sing this.
Love this man,he is still awesome, only get's finer with time ♥ He is one of the best guitarists/story tellers on Earth! And even live in concert he replicates the sound on his finest CD's ♥ Love you Robert ♥ Donna ♥
He so smooth great voice and guitar awesome
happy 60th to Robert today. a great, great artist with unlimited talent.
66 already, he wears it well!
Real music, that's what I'm talking about.!
respect for that dude. plays really good ^^
I remember the time well when I first heard this. Circa Sep. 1990, this song and Van Morrison's 'Real Real Gone' were on the airwaves in heavy rotation...then all but vanished, never to be seen and (rarely) heard again.
Great song great vocals and guitar.Covered this song in the nineties .Love that groove.
What an R&B Monster, in the tradition of those great song stylists/guitarists/vocalists/understated yet simmering. Destined to be in the pantheon of Freddy King/Otis Rush/Joe Louis Walker.
awesome response!...kudos Kenya!
💕 💞 💓 💗 💖
The album Midnight Stroll is Robert Cray at his very best #Legendary
That's real music, right here!
Roberts best
+Joe Jacobs yeah, one of 'em for sure.
NO DOUBT !!!!!
Ahhhh....Pain....not rain.....now I get it.
Just checked him out at Pori Jazz festival. Awesome! Humble! Notorious! Talented!
Apartment with no furniture, just a chair and guitar habits are hard to question..keep jamming Robby, music is the best drug!!!!just say WHOAH!!😎
Can you say, grrrrrrooooooooovvvve????!!!
Last time I got to see Robert, Eric, and Stevie Ray were on stage together...
Woke up to hear the heart breaking news Stevie was killed in a helicopter crash.
My God, it was unbelievably foggy on the ride home; couldn't see anything!
A helicopter that night? Never should have happened, period.
Very underrated.
Love it!! Coffee for Breakfast shot of Whiskey on the side hahaha
8 thumbs up.

Thanks Robert!
I checked the Robert Cray Band website and found NO Texas appearances. I sent an email to his website asking what Texas did wrong that he wasn't going to appear in the DFW area. I received a message advising patience. Later i found out Robert Cray will be the warm up for the Doobie Brothers this July. Got my tickets.
Going to see him sat in Clearwater!!!! Let's get this done boi!
He is a mad man on that guitar! I've been listening to this band for many morons. Yaaaaaa babyyyyy!!!
Excellent!!!!💜🙌🏼🥰🤩🤩🤩
Great, great tune. Not only does the guitar sound great, but what a backing, esp the bass and organ. And to cap it off, those sweet, sweet vocals. Really marks him out as special on top of the playing. Great post man, thanks.
One of the first white chicks I went out with....hipped me to this cat. Thanks, Lisa.
wow one of the first white chicks I went out with was the one I married...ha
Yeah for some reason them white chicks love him.
I'm debating going to see him on Wednesday night.
Damn! THAT is a jam!!!!
Seen him one live. Best ever. Same with Luther Allison.
I’ll be seeing him for the fourth time in Chautauqua Colorado. First time I ever saw him was the night Stevie Ray Vaughan died in Alpine Valley Wisconsin, he played with Eric Clapton and Stevie as a finale.
@pattif1239 I absolutely love Robert Cray and agree with you,I could go see him every week and still not get bored ♥ He is just amazing and it seems to come natural and from his soul.I was so close to him at the concert I could see his fingers on the guitar strings and he does play like he was born with it in his hands. His voice is so perfect and he still sounds as young & strong as he did in the 80's ♥
LEGEND!!!!!
Title sounds like something Mohammed Ali would've said.
Larrymh07 This would be my walkout song if i was a boxer/mma fighter. 💪💪
I Think He Should be Voted Sexiest Man of the Blues!!
Your'e like the 3rd white woman on here salivating over Robert. I think he strikes a nerve with you.
@@reggaefan2700 that makes me the 4th
@@jadedstar3673 Could you tell me what is? What does Robert Cray have that sends all of you in a tizzy?
@@reggaefan2700 The misplaced belief that all black men are well-endowed. That's not true, and more than likely white women that try to find that out get free 'sunglasses' for a long time to come.
I went to a Robert Cray concert and every person I talked to was a musician.
In Animal House, Robert is a guitar player for Otis Day and the Knights.
The guitar rules!
I'm going to see him at Paradiso, Amsterdam, on Tuesday.
Was he good????
@@sandragriffiths9692 His band is always excellent.
I love this
its just so frigging good !!!!!!!
Damn-cool swing!
Yes It Does...
Awesome...You dont learn the Bluzz ur born that way : )
👏👏👏
I have wondered forever who Robert Cray's wife is and just confirmed this is Sue Turner-Cray! She's beautiful~ ♥~
amazin talent
Cool
Robert Cray and J.J. Cale - The Musicians.
Ha, the Richard wears shoes era.
great singer and a good guitraist of all time. He is not show man like JH and others. People like RG, are very much underrated .We like people biting the the guitar, burning and crushing the great guitar under their feet which you cannot see from respectable musicians like chris Rea, George Benson, EC, JP .

Muy bueno, Robert Cray :)
This song hits hard. It’s blues rock at its most intense.

"The Forecast (Calls For Pain)"
Didn't Mr. T say this in Rocky 3?
TRUE 'DAT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!11
@racecarrr are you kidding me this man is amazing, you evidently appreciate, good blues, I mean Eric Clapton and BB King have nothing but praise for this man and all you can say is he is to adult contemporary, you evidently do not appreciate or recognize artistry when you see or hear it.
@jeffevers I think you're right!
calls for love but the forecast calls for sun
Just don;t call you late for dinner
🤘😑🤘
@DeniseAnnal1961 That's interesting because I saw him warm up for Eric Clapton about 6 years ago and he did this song. I wonder why he doesn't play it anymore.
JOJO fans, rise up!
My first great favorite . The ladies a little less than sartorial splender/however class.
I get a constant busy signal When I call you on the phone
