If someone asks what I want as a gift, I ask for restaurant gift cards. I use them if I don’t feel well or have a late meeting at work, they are a great help!
For a gift I prefer a gift card for one of my local grocery stores…. Therefore I can buy and cook it.. some things I make I can freeze like soups and chili, and bake chickens, I don’t like buying the rotisserie chickens already cooked because I can’t control the salt..
Budgeting has become one of my favorite things to do! i have all bills written down and know what weeks they will be paid for the year. Then every Sunday afternoon, with a cup of tea, i do a weekly review of what I spent and if there is any extra money it goes into weekly savings challenges. This money is used for small home repairs or long weekend trips! Most of my freiends can not understand why I enjoy this. :)
I am 69 yrs old and retired. I am in some credit card debt, but I am on a (seemingly slow!) plan to becoming debt free. However, I really have no interest in going back to work or doing a side hustle. So, the question I ask myself before every purchase is.. "is this worth going back to work for?" The answer is always NO!
Healthier too generally. We do not buy industrialized meats. Our new beef is ground bison. Sweet potatoes. Sautéed broccoli. Scrambled eggs or fried eggs. Sautéed cabbage or cabbage soup.😊
I like the idea of taking Amazon off my phone and making it so I have to go to my regular computer. That will make me think about the item longer. You had so many great tips. I always plan my meals weekly so I won’t overbuy at the grocery store. Thank you for your good video.
I find your videos so authentic, genuine, warm and thoughtful! I have a bit of a twist on your tips on eating out and coffee out. At the weekend my husband and I went on a day trip. Instead of going out for lunch, we took some soup in a flask with us and had that in a park. And then we treated ourselves to coffee and cake instead in the afternoon. So we got a nice sit down and refreshment but about a quarter of the price.
I make payments every 2 weeks on payday to reduce interest. This also allows me to be ahead on payments. Amazon is great for putting things in the cart; then just let them stay there; it's like window shopping.
Great tips. Thanks for the tip on paying credit card debt weekly to keep interest down. Never was aware of this. Have learned so much from you and your followers.
@@carolinewick9496 That partly depends on the interest rate - but on a 30-year mortgage loan with a 7% interest rate, making your mortgage payments biweekly would allow you to pay off your loan seven years faster than with traditional monthly payments.
I LOVE doing a no-buy month after the holidays! It's so refreshing and sets the mood for the year!! Although no one can pry my weekly $7 coffee from me, it's such a nice treat after a week of hard work!
My daughter and son-in-law had a new house built. The went to an Amish community to have their bedroom suite, desk, bookcase, desk, sofa, and mud room cabinet built. Yes it was expensive, but these items will last them the rest of their lives and probably those of their children and grandchildren. One of the things that helps is to maintain your furnace and A/C systems. Keeping them up to date and changing out filters when needed. Helps with overall operation of them.
Thanks for the reminder I need to replace my filter. I have a old unit and it uses a accordion type vent that is expensive and not easy to install so I have been procrastinating.
@@sylviaskinner6849We have the same kind of furnace filter. We get ours at Home Depot or Lowe’s where we get a 2 pack for less price than buying them separately. Hope this helps!
I agree with you about Amish built furniture. Three years ago we replaced dressers and nightstands in our daughter’s old bedrooms that we use for guest rooms now. They are custom made and will be inherited by our daughters. We also bought a custom made shed from an Amish company. The quality, durability and attention to detail in all their products is excellent and worth the investment.
The cell phone carrier tip is so true! Last year I switched from a new-ish iPhone on a TMobile contract (total monthly payment $120 😵) to a used Google Pixel I bought outright on a US Mobile phone plan. Unlimited talk/text and more data than I'll ever need for $29 a month. Have had no issues whatsoever with the phone service and the customer service has been great. Saved me SO MUCH room in my budget, almost $100 a month savings is insane, plus I'm a bit less screen addicted on an Android!
Number 25 is sooo true. Anytime I leave my place, I am spending money, somehow. Even if it’s just the gas in my tank. Staying home is the only true way to eliminate needless spending. Make your home a place you want to be. Number 41. I only purchase boxed cake mixes and tubs of frosting when they go on sale. When they ARE on sale, they’re much cheaper than what I can make from scratch.
These are some great tips. I’ve been sharing a few videos with my two children who are about to be 18 years old and 19 years old so they can start their journey of saving money and building their wealth.
Interesting change of life here- We have been a family of 5 with 3 men so we really needed bulk shopping stores when my boys went off to school 2 months ago my good habit of shopping bulk now became a bad habit. I think once you have a little prepper pantry stocked up it's best to stay out of those bulk stores like Costco and Sams bc not only is it too much food but there is so much unnecessary stuff that catches our eye while we are there.
Thank you for another great video! You inspired us to pay our mortgage back earlier, it was easy to talk my husband into it. We are still in the process but the morgage should be paid full at the end of 2025. 🥳
That's absolutely amazing 👏 😍 🙌 👌!!! When you get it paid off go celebrate with a nice dinner . Treat yourselves to a good steak or lobster ! That's a huge accomplishment!!!
I have been freezing my leftovers into individual portions so that on the nights when not everyone is home or we got home late or whatever happens. Maybe we're not all home at the same time, etc. then we can just pull out the one individual meal and warm it up.
We have regular T.V. via over the air antenna. We use commercials for snack or bathroom breaks. We purchased our antenna on sale for $100., and it's been working great for over 24 years😊
@judysbakeryandtestkitchen1654 I'm sorry to hear that about your antenna. Hopefully soon there will be a good solution invented. We live near a ridge, and sometimes, when the weather is bad, some of the channels don't come in. We have a phone pole on our property, and my husband and a friend put our antenna near the top of the pole. For the most part it is exceptional. I hope we never need to replace it 😮
We have a smart tv and wifi. We dont even care to watch Regular TV bc we dont care for the shows. But a lot of the things we enjoy can be found on RUclips (like this program) or Rumble or a movie channel. Internet here is $78, but im in a rural area and thats the cheapest way to go for us.
My ex husband used to yell at me for not using coupons, but he didnt shop and could not understand that most store brands were usually cheaper than the name brand with a coupon.
I just recently found your videos and I love them. We currently live in Florida, but are moving to NC in June because the cost of living is so much cheaper. We only have 5 more years to work. We have a financial advisor to make sure all our ducks are in a row. We have a monthly budget which keeps us focused. My husband is the cook so he finds dishes to make based on what is in the freezer and pantry. We eat leftovers on Monday and Tuesday nights. We do eat out on Fridays because that is our date night. I check insurance rates every few months because we pay a crazy amount. Our car insurance will be cut in half in NC and our electric bill will be about 1/3 of what we pay now. Thank you for the great content. Happy New Year! I'm looking forward to 2025.
Thank you for these wonderful tips! One thing we do is use credit cards with cash back rewards and we earn about $100 a month in rewards to put in our investment account. We use these reward cards for groceries, movies, gas, eating out, even paying our rent and we earn between 1% and 6% on these expenses cash back. This only works because we pay off our credit card bill in full at the end of the month ❤
Thank you for sharing so many tips. So many of them will be easy to do. I'll watch this again while having morning tea so I can write my favorites down. 💰❤
Note for making things from scratch, please make your own premixes, like pancake, cornbread, or cake mixes. They are so easy and cheap to make on your own at home and then you can grab the dry mix and all you have to do is add the wet ingredients. It’s super convenient takes little time to set up and saves you lots
Meal plan definitely keeps me from overspending on groceries and takes the stress away of figuring out what to make for dinner during the week as I have it mapped out already and the week of meals is on a dry erase board on the fridge so everyone knows what’s going to be fir dinner . Also use a lot of casserole and crock pot since it gives leftovers and makes that week so much easier with less cooking !! And it saves money !!
Thank you! I Love all of your tips and have already been doing most of these at some point, so it is a great reminder! I would add that my coffee runs are actually mental health check-ins for me. A takeaway coffee or sit in coffee once a week gives me some time away from my responsibilities and time to clear my head. So with all of these tips, it's important to know what 'treats' or fun things you need, exactly so you don't burn out! Budget for the fun thing so that you have small pleasures or luxuries whilst still following a tight budget (it could also be taking the kids for an ice-cream or seeing a film once a month, etc).
This video is probably the most practical “money saving tips” video I’ve ever watched. I’ve jotted down 21 tips I had never considered before and will zoom in and implement those tips.
Yes but my fridge is down and money so hard for me to get it fixed but I will tell everyone to do it once meal preparation is done meal planing is easier
Thank you so much for these tips, we all need reminders any time of the year. Sometimes these lists will have things we already know but I treat it like a mental refresher and reaffirmation of my commitments to my financial goals. Grateful for you!! ❤
I love these tips, esp the one about paying your credit card more than once per month. I will definitely be doing that, thank you so much, you’re the best.
Your skin is always glowing and flawless in these videos! I’d love a makeup version of these videos (or at least would love to know which products you use for your skin and frugal tips for makeup).
Great ideas! Our libraries here in Mass. have what they call “a library of things” that they loan out. I had a cookout this summer and I got all the yard games For the grandkids at the library including a bubble machine! So I love the libraries
If you plan what you’re gonna cook for the week, it doesn’t mean you have to have a certain thing on a certain day. You can change the days around and just already know what you’re making for that week.
That’s what we do in my house…. Plans 6-8 meals, buy necessities we don’t have on hand for those meals….and discuss/ figure out today WHICH of those meals we want tomorrow….and ALWAYS pick 1-2 “leftovers” days!
I am unwilling to detail plan my week of menus. But I am willing to make three protein options and two starch to pair with a veggies soup and salad fixings. At the end of the week there are few, if any leftovers. So that’s a middle step one can do.
For cell phone service. I use red pocket. I pay $180 annually- that's it. I have limited data but I'm a stay at home mom so I use wifi at home. Thank you for videos! I'm already doing a lot of what you teach but you are giving me additional great ideas.
Wen we went overseas we learned about how pre paid plans use the exact same service as monthly cell plans. When we came back we switched from our ATT plan of 140.00 for 2 phones to an ATT prepaid plan of 35.00 for exact same service. We auto pay so it’s identical and there’s no limit on minutes or data. People are nuts to keep a cell plan paying all those interstate taxes!
Most public libraries now offer ebook and eaudiobook loans, so you don't even have to physically go to the library for free reading or listening. Some even offer free music and movies streaming 😊
I use the Libby app with my Kindle. I've read so many great books for free. I don't have to go to the library and I don't have to worry about late fees. I highly recommend it.
I've just cancelled two Patreon subscriptions that I wasn't using, saving me £120 / $139 a year! The tip about paying the credit card in two or three payments a month instead of one was my favourite and an eye opener. Some great tips, thanks very much.
Same! I've never thought to find out when interest is charged. I'm making great progress on paying off my cc debt, and this will help me accomplish it even quicker!
I really do not enjoy menu planning, but it saves money and stress. That age old question: what am I going to make for supper? It adds stress to your day. Sometimes after a nice meal, even if it is a simple one, my husband will thank me for the nice meal. And I will say, meal planning is the real deal. 🙂 Thank you!
Oh, your comment reminds me of my husband who died six years ago. No matter what I made for a meal (even lowly hotdogs and fries), he always thanked me for the meal. I miss his kindness in that way. Diane
Budgeting has helped us tremendously. I write things down every 2 days and subtract it from the designated amount. Even if we go over in an area, it still helps us know where our money goes. We have also stopped going out to eat all together. It’s not good for us anyways and our parents like to take us out sometimes on their dime. 😁 We also track our debt payments on a thermometer and our daughter colors it in! It’s exciting! And we have our goals for after that debt is gone!
I really enjoy your channel. There are so many things that I do here. And, then again some things I don’t do. One thing is I don’t plan my meals every week. My fiancee is a picky eater & works odd hours. And, I have stomach problems so I discuss what I’m going to cook with him the night before or before he goes to work. I live on a fixed income and so he helps me when I buy groceries.
One of the things that we find helps most is to eliminate food waste. Buy only what you'll actually use, then use it up. It's amazing how much money most people waste by not doing this.
I am starting us on our frugal journey. I know it probably isn't conventional and isn't available for everyone, but I did end up consolidating about 10k worth of our credit cards. We still have other credit card debt, but I put the 10k towards our highest interest/highest balance cards. We were originally paying approximately 350 a month on 10k worth of credit card debt and with the small loan we are paying about 160 a month for the same debt. I plan on taking the extra almost 200 and snowball that onto the other smaller credit cards to tumble those down. I also recently paid off my car and that is another 245 I plan on stacking in with the 200 dollars I am saving from the consolidation. It feels so good to have a direction and plan. I feel like I have room to breath and not feeling so smothered.
My parents encouraged my husband and I to switch from AT&T to Visible and we did and it’s been the best for us! Only $25 per person that’s it nothing else and there are other carriers for even less they mail you everything you need to do an eSIM card and it’s done! This was great for our budget!
I’m on social security I just want to do a $500 savings challenge for 2025 to add to my emergency fund , I saved $500 in 2023 and 650.00 so far in 2024.. and tracking my expenses has helped.. I do a no spend month every 3 months, even with groceries.. I save any money I don’t spend in groceries and reset my budget every month to the same amount for food …. I want to pay off 2 small credit cards in 2025.. it bothers me when seniors can’t buy groceries.. And we see it more and more..
Walk daily two miles to live healthy life. We live in Wisconsin and on coldest days we walk in our local mall. It’s free. And walk our dog outside. (The dr cannot walk for you). Buy bison in place of industrialized beef. Tastes better and healthier. Thanks for your tips!! We paid off our home this past summer! Keurigs- alert- use only cardboard k cups or a reusable metal k cup. Plastic kcups unhealthy. We got rid of microwave 2 years ago- unhealthy. 😊
Not sure if this has been mentioned, but after you've tackled the credit card debt, It may take years....make sure that you pay your credit card in FULL every month...No fail!! I have been doing this for 14 years now. No worries. Don't charge...IF...you don't intend to pay it at the end of the month.
I remember in my middle years my budget was so tight, I'd see tall kitchen bags and I'd love to buy 20 to 50 so if only have to buy a years worth, but back then? I have to buy 10-15; there just wasn't a dollar extra. It took a long time now I'm set. I can buy extra on sale. No mortgage no car payments. But yes I remember back when rent, food, lights, phone, college courses, outfits for work on and on
Hi Jennifer! I now follow your channel. You are indeed a great influencer and you inspire me to live a more frugal life and change my bad spending habits. Thank you for your pure, simple and effective financial advices. You are truly a great and wonderful human being. More blessings to you and your family ❤😊🙏🏽
Leave online purchases in the cart for several days or a week or two. Often I find that I just remove many items from the list and never buy them. If you stop to think about it for a while, you can often eliminate the purchase entirely.
I was scrolling through on my phone and seen your video. This is so spot on what you're saying. But for me it's a struggle for me to try and save any money because I'm on a fixed income. I recieve SSDI from Social Security. I've been recieving this since 2013. It's a struggle because I have to use this for the rent, electric bill, and to pay on the cellphone bill, which I'm on a plan with my brother. There's barely anything left to put groceries in the house. My brother and sister help me with rent and contribute their portion on the rent which is very helpful. But, we're hoping that the rent doesn't go up. It''s hard for a lot of people who are recieving disability income that doesn't go very far or having to return back to work part time or have a side hussle job. This inflation is hurting people all around the world. 🌎 I just pray that somehow things will get better. Blessings to you. 🙏
If you have SSI, Medicare, and Medicaid, you can get an extra $217/month through your health insurance's FSA. It can be used to pay for your electric/water bill, food, over-the-counter medications, health aids such as a heating pad or shower chair.
Using Rakuten and Honey are helpful too. We use those. Fetch is also helpful we use that to scan our receipts to get points for gifts cards we can use for gifts or anything we need. Great video with a lot of helpful tips.
I have been successful in keeping cost down, budgeting and saving over the years. I got a few good tips from you today. Thanks. One more is to pay yourself first. Savings come first. Then expenses. Another is plan a time during the week where you sit and review, enter, plan, sort, file, etc. There will be a lot less to do at the end of the month or the year.
Great tips & very simple and practical to build wealth fund. I use a lot of these. budgeting and clearing any debts are important priority in my book. yep. clear them debts, put the xtra fund into high interest saving. review your goals, all work for me.
Great tips, thank you for this video. As I plan bigger expenses I calculate how much I need to save a month to pay for example for vacation or trip. Today I booked trip that will be in May so now I know how to save. I keep budget for trips on another account so when going away I know how much I can spend.
I'm Australian and I recently switched both our phones from Vodafone to flip. From $85/MTH to $18/MTH (until January at which point I will switch and get new sim only plans!

Hey Jennifer, I hope you're doing well - These were great tips/ideas - I was listening to you as I was heating up my meal planned, batch cooked stew made partly with some free veggies from a community fridge & feeling pleased that although i could be doing abit better in some categories, I'm doing ok in others 😊
I am new to your channel and have been watching or listening while i’m cooking or doing my chores. There’s so much advise to take & even reminders to be wise with your money. Dave Ramsey follower as well ❤
I'm the same about listening to these types of videos. I like listening while I'm cooking or folding laundry. Thank you for watching, and welcome to my channel!
Thank you for another great video! I did not know about the benefits of paying the credit card more than once per month. Brilliant tip! We have just retired so we’re looking at ways to reduce our spending. We have started with comparing insurance companies and changing our policies 😊
Thank you Jennifer I did not know about the interest on the credit cards now I can do better because I know better, thank you for your knowledge love your channel❤
Great tips and very common sense constructive to saving money. I have done many through the years but there were so many I hadn’t thought of. Thank you!! So very helpful!
I switched to consumer cellular from AT and T and have saved a lot of money! Also, the service has been great. ...Jennifer, have you thought about intermittent fasting? It's very good for your healthy and cost effective because you'll find you won't get hangry.
Wear what fits, what you like. For as long as you want or till it is worn out. Even after it cannot be wor, cut the garment up and use for cleaning jobs or pet bedding
I’ve been doing my best for the past two years. Unfortunately I had a tax bill I didn’t expect and feel like I’m just treading water when really I’m still doing well. For this reason I’m back for inspiration.
These are great tips & finally someone mentions staying home! People at work at like I'm weird for staying at home. I told them you got to make your home a vacation you like going to everyday. They didn't like that but left me alone afterwards. One thing that helps me is comparing bulk with singles. Bulk is normally cheaper but sometimes it isn't. Over the weekend I had compared Lysol disinfectant wipes at Walmart. A single container was $5, bulk with 4 containers was $15 (they had the same amount of wipes per container). So it was like buy 3 get 1 free. I also found a huge container of Gain for $18. It said it should last for 11 months so that plus the amount I already have I won't have to buy detergent for the rest of the year. I am also trying dryer wool balls for the first time & they have cut my dryer time over half! (I prefer hanging clothes but been using the dryer since the weather is cold) I love to crochet & have alot of cotton yarn so I am going to try reusable cotton rounds & soap savers. Great tips everyone let's help & encourage each other!
These tips are all spot on!! I was smiling throughout your video. We changed our insurance for home and auto this month for the upcoming year and saved almost $1400 between both. My daughter and son in law changed their car insurance and saved $2500 for the year. They had nothing on their driving record, and I feel like the insurance company was taking advantage of their age (24) and the original agent said that was the best they could find. Which was a lie as the insurance carrier they ended up going with the agency also carried. I am a firm believer in shopping around for insurance and unfortunately you can’t take your agents word no matter how long you have been with them!!! We stay home a lot, but it hit me watching this. We live a very simple life and our home is very clean, simple, and minimal. Our friends NEVER invite us over to their home, always try to avoid being at their own house, and always want to come over to ours. Why? Because their house and life is a complete mess and they just can’t relax there so they do everything they can to avoid their own home. I could probably comment on every tip you provided as I completely agree with them. Even the dog needing his teeth cleaned. It’s on my December things to do for an appointment in January or February. 😂
I´m from Spain, here in Europe your advice are really great, there are so many people who are broke that is very interesting these types of videos with this incredible information. This was my first time seeing one of your videos. We do implement many of the suggestions you gave, but I also heard a lot of new things that seem very easy to implement, the money won’t be missed and the savings will grow faster than most people realize. Thanks for sharing😊
@, you are very welcome. I really did love how common sense the tips were and that even for people who are new to budgeting/saving can easily implement your tips and suggestions. Looking forward to watching more of your videos, and thanks again so much for sharing.

I'm gonna apply this principle from now and then. Is this piece of $tuff worth it to work for few more years?
But earning is still a great help.

Great tips. Thanks for the tip on paying credit card debt weekly to keep interest down. Never was aware of this. Have learned so much from you and your followers.
You are so welcome!
Agree - good tip!
Does that principle apply to paying off your mortgage as well?
@@carolinewick9496yes it does
@@carolinewick9496 That partly depends on the interest rate - but on a 30-year mortgage loan with a 7% interest rate, making your mortgage payments biweekly would allow you to pay off your loan seven years faster than with traditional monthly payments.

Although no one can pry my weekly $7 coffee from me, it's such a nice treat after a week of hard work!

agreed!
I have been practicing #25... staying at home....this year. Today is day 292 of the year. Ive stayed home 73 days. Woo hoo. Success and calm. ❤
Same, make ur home a sanctuary and just enjoy it.
lol very interesting. I think I’m going to start keeping up with how many days I stay home now that I am retired.
My daughter and son-in-law had a new house built. The went to an Amish community to have their bedroom suite, desk, bookcase, desk, sofa, and mud room cabinet built. Yes it was expensive, but these items will last them the rest of their lives and probably those of their children and grandchildren.

That is awesome! Great job! 🤗
That’s great congratulations
Jen. you know what’s up. You’re responsible resilient lady you are a great person.
That's absolutely amazing 👏 😍 🙌 👌!!! When you get it paid off go celebrate with a nice dinner . Treat yourselves to a good steak or lobster ! That's a huge accomplishment!!!
It helps to buy a home that is affordable, do not be excessive. Location, is most important. A good neighborhood.
We purchased our antenna on sale for $100., and it's been working great for over 24 years😊
That is awesome!
We actually miss having an antenna. We live in a valley where the mountains block any service. So we stream. Cable is obsolete already.
Penny, that is fantastic! You will love the Carolinas. Happy New Year 🤗
Thank you for these wonderful tips!
I use my credit card too and deduct the charge from my checking account when I make the charge so the money is there when it's time to pay.
Genius!
I listened all the way through and wrote down 19 of the 50 ideas as feasible ( the rest I was already doing, couldn't do or didn't apply!)
Awesome!
Automatic savings is the best invention ever!!
Yep, it is great!
This video is probably the most practical “money saving tips” video I’ve ever watched. I’ve jotted down 21 tips I had never considered before and will zoom in and implement those tips.
Renee, thank you so much! It makes my heart happy to know these were helpful for you. 🤗
So many good recommendations! Meal planning is an absolute game changer and money saver. I plan weekly and combine my planning with loss leader sales.
Absolutely!!
You are so welcome!
Your skin is always glowing and flawless in these videos! I’d love a makeup version of these videos (or at least would love to know which products you use for your skin and frugal tips for makeup).
I ride my bike to/from work, keeping fit, saving fuel and it's about the same time as driving with traffic. plus outside time enjoying the scenery.
Great ideas! Our libraries here in Mass. have what they call “a library of things” that they loan out. I had a cookout this summer and I got all the yard games
For the grandkids at the library including a bubble machine! So I love the libraries
Susan, that is fantastic!
If you plan what you’re gonna cook for the week, it doesn’t mean you have to have a certain thing on a certain day. You can change the days around and just already know what you’re making for that week.
Joyce, thank you for adding this point!
Fantastic!
Diane
@@jimmiepatrum I am sorry for your loss.
@@carolynmaves503 Thank you, Carolyn. It makes me happy to know that you have a kind and loving husband, just as I did. Diane
It makes me happy to see such kindness in the comments. Hugs to all 🤗
Very thorough overivew on bow to be frugal and save money. Thank you for your positive energy. Maureen. Paris, France
Thank you, Maureen!
We also track our debt payments on a thermometer and our daughter colors it in! It’s exciting! And we have our goals for after that debt is gone!
Rachel, this is FANTASTIC! Those habits will help you so much. Great job!!! 🤗
1. Food pantry especially bread
2. Dollar tree especially for snacks milk vegetables canned goods stationary
One of the things that we find helps most is to eliminate food waste. Buy only what you'll actually use, then use it up. It's amazing how much money most people waste by not doing this.
Agree!
It's a known fact that fully 1/3 of the food produced in this country is wasted. Shame on us!
You can do this! You have a plan. Keep it up! 🤗
My parents encouraged my husband and I to switch from AT&T to Visible and we did and it’s been the best for us! Only $25 per person that’s it nothing else and there are other carriers for even less they mail you everything you need to do an eSIM card and it’s done! This was great for our budget!
Thank you for the great saving money tips.
Great, practical advices - financial and psychological approach go together, indeed. Thank you so much. 💐
You are so welcome!
Thanks for 50 great tips! You always have some tips that I've never heard of before and would never think of.
Fantastic!
Congratulations on paying off your home! ❤️
Not sure if this has been mentioned, but after you've tackled the credit card debt, It may take years....make sure that you pay your credit card in FULL every month...No fail!! I have been doing this for 14 years now. No worries. Don't charge...IF...you don't intend to pay it at the end of the month.
I love these tips. I do many of them, but there's always more I can try. Thank you for the inspiration! Thank you, from England.
You are so welcome!
But yes I remember back when rent, food, lights, phone, college courses, outfits for work on and on
My favorite tub ahower cleaner is water, dish soap and vinegar.
Thank you so much for your kind words 🤗
I'm also on ssi..believe me, I utilize any free food offer I can get..
Thank you for these tips….excellent advice😁❤️
If you have SSI, Medicare, and Medicaid, you can get an extra $217/month through your health insurance's FSA. It can be used to pay for your electric/water bill, food, over-the-counter medications, health aids such as a heating pad or shower chair.
Have you looked in your area for food pantries and food banks? I'm sure you can find at least one or two.
I have seen sometimes where the store brand can be cheaper than the brand name product even when you have a coupon.
Great tips & very simple and practical to build wealth fund. I use a lot of these. budgeting and clearing any debts are important priority in my book. yep. clear them debts, put the xtra fund into high interest saving. review your goals, all work for me.
Hi I’m a pen paper type of person, and I use a pocket calendar where I write what I spend.
I put certain amount in separate bank for year to pay for needs or bills! If I use it up before the year ends than no spending just bill pay! Save rest my check for the year! Helps me budget and save more
Hey Jennifer, I hope you're doing well - These were great tips/ideas - I was listening to you as I was heating up my meal planned, batch cooked stew made partly with some free veggies from a community fridge & feeling pleased that although i could be doing abit better in some categories, I'm doing ok in others 😊
Hi Bex! Enjoy your yummy stew, and have a great week 🤗
So great!!!!
I shared this video with several young adults.
A Must Hear for everyone.
Linda, thank you so much!
I liked the idea about rounding up the number when you record your expenses, thanks for the tips
keep up your great videos - excellent information ❤
Virginia, congratulations on retirement! ❤️
Thank you Jennifer I did not know about the interest on the credit cards now I can do better because I know better, thank you for your knowledge love your channel❤
Wonderful!
A lot of great advises!!! Love your video! ❤
I love your ideas/advice. Thank you!!!
You are so welcome!
Thanks!
Great tips and very common sense constructive to saving money. I have done many through the years but there were so many I hadn’t thought of. Thank you!! So very helpful!
Peggy, thank you so much!

All really good ideas. Thanks Jennifer!
You are so welcome!
Wish I knew what budget friendly makeup you use would love to try it.
Straight talk no problem
Thank you Jennifer! You are so inspiring! 😊
You are so welcome!
Great video. Thank you!
Great information I am definitely will be adding some in my life. Thank you!
I switched to consumer cellular from AT and T and have saved a lot of money! Also, the service has been great.
...Jennifer, have you thought about intermittent fasting? It's very good for your healthy and cost effective because you'll find you won't get hangry.
Very helpful - getting ready to retire early in the next few weeks❤!
Congratulations!
How long should I wear clothes! Lol I wear pants I've had for years. I just wear around the house but they are my favorites!!!
Wear what fits, what you like. For as long as you want or till it is worn out.
Even after it cannot be wor, cut the garment up and use for cleaning jobs or pet bedding
Would love a printout of this list! That Starbucks coffee ☕ comment - soooooo true! We got a Nespresso Vertuo last black Friday - battle go anymore❤
The starbucks comment its nothing new, its the firsts thing that everybody commented
(I prefer hanging clothes but been using the dryer since the weather is cold)
I love to crochet & have alot of cotton yarn so I am going to try reusable cotton rounds & soap savers.
Great tips everyone let's help & encourage each other!
I make my own convivence foods. I do sous vide with seal a meal, soups and chilis are faves, have started making air fryer foods, 1st being tacos.
Thank you. Great inspiration to continue frugality in every area ❤🎉❤
Jennifer, great tips for 2025. I’m already doing some of these and plan to implement a few more of your great tips! Another great video. Thank you! ❤️
Thank you for adding all of this! I enjoyed reading it.🤗
I´m from Spain, here in Europe your advice are really great, there are so many people who are broke that is very interesting these types of videos with this incredible information. Thanks a lot a regards from La Coruña a beautiful city in the northwest os Spain in the region of Galicia and it´s the city in the eurpean continent nearest new york city🙂
Your shares are great. It is worth our learning. Thanks for sharing with us❤❤
This was my first time seeing one of your videos. We do implement many of the suggestions you gave, but I also heard a lot of new things that seem very easy to implement, the money won’t be missed and the savings will grow faster than most people realize. Thanks for sharing😊
Thank you for watching the video and taking the time to leave a comment. I am glad there were some new tips you found that might be helpful.
@, you are very welcome. I really did love how common sense the tips were and that even for people who are new to budgeting/saving can easily implement your tips and suggestions. Looking forward to watching more of your videos, and thanks again so much for sharing.
Buy frozen vegetables is usually cheaper than canned so is Frozen fruit wherebyou dont have waste.
AND frozen is healthier than canned.
