Due to the Covid 19 pendamic, he couldn't leave the UK when his 6 months visa is going to finish ,so he wrote a letter to the Home Office. His tourist visa was then extended twice until the end of June 2021. The Home office then instructed him to leave the UK on 30th June. So he left the UK on 30th June to Tenerife, but returned on 4th July 2020. At Luton Airport Immigration asked him why 8 returned to the UK. He replied very innocently, to see my wife and apply my UK SpouseVisa. He's Canadian citizen, if he leave the UK and go to any other country for a couple days and return to the UK, it will start his Tourist Visa for 6 months again. The immigration officer replied 'no, it's not like that Sir '. When he heard that, he was shocked. He showed his correspondence letter with the Home Office. He's detained there for about 9 hours. Finally, they released him on immigration bail on the condition he have to apply for his UK Spouse Visa within 14 days, or leave the country. He applied on 19th July 2021 on the 10 year family route, arguing a human rights issue that he couldn't return to Canada, but today it was refused on the basis there is no good reason why he cannot return to Canada or even India. Now he has been granted immigration bail. He left Montreal,Canada June 2017,one it's already 5 years now. He didn't do any taxe return file for 5 years.He is ready to return to Canada, any kind of problem or penalty she have to face ??

To remain complaint with the residency obligations as per IRPA, one must be physically present inside Canada for 730 days out of five years from becoming a PR (if there's no applicable exception). Please feel free to reach out for a consultation if you need to discuss specifics.

If a Canadian citizen is 5 years in another country what will happen when he/she returns to Canada
That will depend on the complete context and the area of law involved.
@@sajjadmalik921 thank you very much for your reply. I have another very important question .
@Offshore Citizen thank you so much for your quick response. I have another question Hi Tanya;
How are you? I'm in trouble now. I made a big mistake. Once my uncle told me I can stay in UK 6 months and if I leave UK for few days and return it will start my Visa another 6months.
This person arrived in the UK on 10th August 2020 on a Tourist Visa.

Thank you for your comment.
