- Kate Murugi shares the anguish she went through, after after 5 years of hard labour in Saudi Arabia, only to find that back at home (Kenya) all her money had been used/ misused by a close relative.
Kate went into depression, after her relative, who used to 'bank' her savings, disclosed that more than half a million Kenya Shillings was nowhere to be seen.
However Kate has forgiven and decided to move on into other ventures.
A baking course gained in Saudi Arabia, is now her everyday hustle.

I do wonder how someone can mess someone and is relative and the way people pass through in Saudi. While I remember a lady who I met in Fb last year,she sent me all her cash coz the family was messing her too. I deposited all her cash I sent her the receipt I bought her things for her house, everything from bed to Sofa and we didn’t know each other. She came last year and found everything in order . It’s good to be honest

I learned my lesson 207 never trust anyone not even your own parents relative don't understand we work hard and harder everyday outside the country than stress too much pain the trauma drag me into depression almost commit suicide I found (5 MILLION) eaten by relative to cut a long story short now I have more than twenty projects in kenya and I thank God for this far watching from U.S.A 🇺🇸new jersey I forgive but I will never forget

My case is different because am still in good position in 🇬🇧, yes I had to let it go and never expect the 1m again. I keep away from her.

Mine was a baptism of fire, my father passed on in 2005 and we were left high and dry, God blessed me I travelled to Taiwan for grad school in 2013 and the Kikuyu in me could not rest until I could find a side hustle, I started exporting 2nd hand cars and when my uncle knew he went to court saying that that the cars are his he usually send me money to buy, pure lie. Kuhonga polisi, wakashika gari ati nimpee monja ndio niendelee kuuza. I refused and we battled it out in court for 2yrs mpaka I decided to honga mapolisi waniachilie magari.
