When I went to school, we started the week before Labor Day. Holidays were Labor Day, Parent-teacher conference day, two days for Thanksgiving, then first semester exams before that glorious 1 1/2 weeks off for Christmas. Spring semester we had one parent-teach conference day and one week, unless it was used to make up for being closed for snow, Easter break. Not many days off, but we also finished before Memorial Day.

It just depends on what part of the country you’re in when that happens where I’m at you’re lucky if that is the middle of November

Well, Walmart is hiring drivers. 84 cents a mile pay plus safety bonus. 401k match, benefits, pension. 100k year income on 4-5 days out, 4-5 days off. No searching for loads or paying for anything. Might be the way to go until rates get better.

My wife and I moved to PA in 1997 and started having kids. We both grow up in suburban northern NJ . School let out for summers June 21st-24th and went back Sept 6-8th. Here? It could be the last week of May, first week of June. Back in the middle of August. Or, so it seems

Steve if you were born rich you would not have as much appreciation for what you have as what you do. And you very well may have never gotten any of the enjoyment you get from meeting people cause of the channel you now have. Keep up the fight and the great work. Dauminique does local mostly & sometimes she goes to other towns,depends on the weather & how many loads she has to get,I like watching her videos,she's cool 😎, yeah the sun is rising & the moon is still up.Just to bad that weren't hauling a big crane boom or big jib or big tracks

That scenery reminds me of growing up in Illinois. Wisconsin and Illinois are very similar.

When I worked for Sonoco Products we had carts and racks like that. We had dry vans with logistical tracks running the length of the trailers and used straps to hold everything in place.

Just looked at you last vid about poLICE state Uk is a nightmare, not speed cameras but average speed ones. Plus in cities a congestion charge now ultra low emisions zones that's for cars. They want people to go the dreaded word electric. It is just a TAX on the working man, as they drive in limos. Plus the thing you noticed at the side of the road looks like a average speed camera, maybe tests.
hi steve hope your doing good.i watch alot of youube cabover stuff.there a twin to yours but fancier brand new paint twin bunk in a polebarn but it needs all the rest no motor no tranny.basically no interier ect.but cool to see they still out there/but yours runs and works thats a statement in itself

Hi that trailer does not foll Orwell correct when u stop at lights look in mirror u r nearly on the yell line trailer a ft off I have seen it before it arses to the right u sat in cab watch it round a left bend it gos right same when u get in loves or in between lines when u park up but looking from uk
