I had the same set up. I game a lot on my iPads. I sold the Mini because the screen is so good on the 12.9” M series iPad Pros it ruined the experience for me on the Mini. I would be super happy to see a Mini Pro. Throw an M Series chip and a 4K 120hz screen in it and I’m hooked for life. Also Face ID would be stellar. Touch ID is blah. A new Mini should be released later this year or early next year.
Never been too tech savvy, I love the way you break it down the lowest level for people like myself! Nice up and coming tech channel, you’re starting to become a must watch for me!
Can y'all believe we're still unboxing iPad Mini 6s? Crazy! I wonder how well iPad 7 will sell now that so many folks hane figured out how great this form-factor is!
I was extremely shocked myself to see it, but glad there’s a lot of these type videos out so everybody can get a good grasp of the “mini powerhouse” haha
I agree with you as well. I personally don’t have an an IPad Pro, so I don’t have anything to compare it too but for sure I believe if you had them side by side the difference would be noticeable. Thanks for the insight!
I have to upgrade my full-sized iPad that is now seriously obsolete. However, the iPad Mini is the only iPad that will fit into my camera sling-bag and for better or worse, the 256Gb model with cellular and Wi-Fi plus Apple Pencil is what I am getting.
I definitely think you will enjoy it, and you pretty much have the model (wi-fi + cellular) that can really make you productive anywhere you go, in addition to having any of your favorite streaming services for your leisure right there at your fingertips! Hopefully you enjoy your new iPad mini, and thank you for watching!
Another nice video (just watched your iPad Mini tips). I've already watched a ton of videos like this one, so it wasn't as useful to me, but I still enjoyed it. Your video style is informative and relaxing, and overall production seems high quality. Great job! Subscribed. I'm going to search your channel for it, but in case you haven't made one yet, I think an in-depth look at the Pencil (with different apps, especially productivity stuff) would be really nice. I'd especially like to see something with the SimpleMind app using the Pencil. Edit: wow, your channel is really new! You've obviously put a lot of thought/work into this. Keep up the awesome work.
Thank you so much for taking the time out and watching the videos I really appreciate it and want to continue to get better and provide more value to this community! I have been thinking about doing a video actually with the Apple Pencil as well, so I may sit down and plan that out but will definitely keep it in mind! Thanks again for the support, and welcome to the community!!
the quality of your videos, and how you present your videos screams of someone who has hundreds of thousands of subs. Maaan you just started a month ago, you definitely deserve wayyy more subs. Love the breakdown of the video. I am hoping for a mini pro eventually. However, the ipad mini is sooo slept on.
This means so much, thank you for those kind words I really appreciate it. I wanna keep getting better for this community so thank you for your support!!
@@grzhoppa You’re welcome and completely understand, may have to tell them “this is for both of us” maybe that’ll convince them haha. Thanks for watching hope to see you in the comments again!
Still debating myself to get this device… worrying about longevity, since iPad air already get M1 chip. Will waiting what apple do with iPad OS 17, if there is no gain for M1’s iPad. Will definitely get this one..
Completely understand, I have a feeling there could be a makeover for the mini coming soon (unsure how Apple is going to position it among the other iPad devices) but again I’m just speculating on that haha
@@amronbaitarrizaq2509 this is very common with LCD screens, it produce ripples when you put your finger on them is because you are essentially disturbing the alignment of the liquid crystals in those pixels. As a result, you see rainbow-colored ripples forming around the point where your fingers touch the screen. The reason you don’t see it in the IPad 6 because it has an LED screen instead if I’m not mistaken. But the ripple effect hasn’t really been like a major concern for me, because I know it’s common and normal. So hopefully that helps explain it!
@@semajdenzel iPad 6 2018 also have LCD Screen and even not laminated display. I have mix feeling about this issue, some people was replaced by apple when they complaint but some people are not because apple doesn’t considered it as a problem…
@@amronbaitarrizaq2509 Ohhh okay I mean I looked up iPad 6th generation on the apple website and it said LED screen just now so not sure. But it doesn’t really hinder me when using it, I don’t pay attention to it. But its only seen for me when I really apply a lot of pressure to the screen
So I’d say depending on your day-to-day use cases, if you’re more so going to be at home or in places where you can use wifi (some cell phone plans give you a hotspot to a certain GB threshold with your service so check into that also), stick with WiFi only. Now if you’re going to be on the go more, and traveling while also needed to use certain apps that require being connected to the internet, get the cellular. It will be a little bit more expensive but it will be worth it. So hopefully that helps, for me WiFi is perfect because most of my work is WFH so cellular would be a waste. Let me know if you have any other questions, thanks for watching!
Get the cellular. If you have t-mobile as your carrier you can get an unlimited tablet plan for $20 per month as opposed to using a hotspot from your phone, eventually slowing your data speed
I just ordered an iPad mini 6, it hasn't arrived yet. I didn't realize that the iPad mini 7 would arrive soon with better changes, especially on the battery for example, do you think my purchase was bad? I wonder if I should just send it back unopened, and wait for the arrival of the new model, what do you think?
I wouldn’t say it was a bad purchase, the better question is probably more so what exactly this new iPad mini 7 will have? Because if the specs are similar to the mini 6 it’s not a bad buy. So how bout this, I’d suggest maybe return it for now, waiting until the Apple Keynote where they announce the new products (probably will be around the 2nd week of September) and see what will they be releasing because potentially they may slash the price of the Mini 6 which could save you some money!
I found a Used iPad mini 6 on eBay in March for $200, before everyone found out how great they are for content consumption. Now, I haven't seen them for less than $300, closer to $400! One problem I have is that my Apple Pencil slips on the screen... Any suggestions?
Hmmm now I’m just taking a shot in the dark hear so bear with me, maybe try and grab a screen protector with good reviews from Amazon which now acts like a “new screen” and that may help, just to try. I’m assuming the Apple Pencil maybe new if not check the tip to see if it needs to be replaced as well also
@@semajdenzel Sorry, I should have been clearer... In the video, it looks like you write and draw fairly smoothly... as if you might be using Paperlike or a similar screen protector? So, in your experience, what are you using ... Or are you just that good? ;-) Thanks!
@@hanksimon1023 Ohhh I’m definitely not that good but thanks 😂, but no I’m not using a screen protector at the moment so directly pen to screen. I may invest in the PaperLike screen protector to see if it really makes a difference for me but right now I’m liking it without any screen protector, the smudges just annoy me but I just use a microfiber cloth and it’a good as new.
Yea they do, being that you’re uploading to the app itself it’ll be depending on how the app you’re using compresses the file. But I’ve used TikTok, Facebook and Instagram and the quality stayed the same for me (transferred the video from MacBook via airdrop to iPad, and uploaded).

Yea they’ve kinda packed it with as much as they could without making it a “performance” tablet. Curious to see how they would revamp it when they do
