There are no words to describe the beauty of jJacques' music. Thank God for digital technology which will preserve this and many other of his performances for future generations to enjoy them. Too bad Jacques is gone, but his music never will.

Un inmortal de la música
Una maravilla tengo más de 55 años de escucharlo y cada q lo escucho vibró con sus interpretaciones
voilà la plus belle interprétation jazzy que je connaisse. Une contrebasse parfaite, un piano tout en retenue et une batterie juste ce qu'il faut pour se faire entendre. Magnifique, quelle maitrise et surtout quel talent.
je l'ai réécouté hier soir( generique d'un film)
Tu trouveras bcp d'autres oeuvres , enregistrées ds l'eglise de Bach. a Leipzig, merveille des merveilles.
A mon gout, CE bassiste est le meilleur de ceux qui l'ont accompagné.( le dernier en date était merveilleux ds l'âme de Bach, mais par moments, j'entendais 1 ou 2 " comas" de décalage, la rançon d'une trop juste oreille de famille).
Et la magie s'envolait.
Son batteur est de la 1ere heure, comparse formidable et pétillant
Ce concert est tres ancien, autre inspiration sur la mm oeuvre de base, une osmose formidable...
La Meilleure acoustique de toute cette oeuvre enregistrée est, à mon oreille, l'église de Leipzig.
D'autres superbes concerts des mêmes, plus denses, plus profondes{ l'âge+ un accident cerebral), moins explosives, ds " Jazz in Marcillac", je ne saurais te dire la date.
J'ai 80 ans, Cette fantastique association est MON 1er disque acheté avec mes 1er sous gagnés, je ne me renie pas, Mais le Teppaz d'époque est devenu une Technics, le jour et la nuit.. C'est trop beau, je n'en changerait plus🌺🙏🔔💫🌟💗✨
Je te souhaite beaucoup de belles découvertes, sur Marcillac entre autres, au Japon, enfin, de quoi oublier la barbarie de l'époque 🌠🖐️
Bonne route le long des merveilles, pt être à une autre belle fois

I doubt there is anyone on this planet who would not be moved by listening Jaques Loussier’s interpretation of Jesu Joy of man’s desiring 37:04 it is as captivating, as it is beautiful. He’s faithful to Bach and innovative at the same time. I’ve loved his music for over 55 years and had the privilege of hearing his trio performing in person during his 1966 tour in U K.
I live in Brazil and since of my 23 years old i know Jacques Loussier. This means during 50 years i appreciate him.

It does not matter what this trio plays, they are good, and interesting, and you want to hear them often. They are even better if you already know well,.... the particular composers and their compositions.

My dad landed on this surfing channels back in 1989 and we watched this in awe. This was when I developed a love for jazz. I was raised on Bach so this struck a chord (pun intended). Thanks for sharing. Brings back a lot of memories for the young teenager in me.

My late father (d. 1982) was seduced by JLT's interpretations of J S Bach. Prior to that he was strictly conservative, very little later than Mozart and Beethoven sort-of-thing. I can only wish Dad were alive today to enjoy what RUclips provides for we 'musos'.
