Luton's most important captain of all time. He has captained this club to a new world that is unimaginable. Forever will be loved and although it would be hard to watch, hopefully he can get back.
I never want to see him back playing again. second time this has happened now. its not worth the stress on him or his family! but hopefully he can do something else for the club!
As a cardiac arrest survivor myself, i wish Tom all the best on his road to recovery
I love that he was worried about the fans in the stadium. What a wonderful guy ❤
What a humble and gracious guy…. I nearly cried at the end, him paying tribute to the the people who saved him and urging people to learn cpr…….stay up for Tom Luton Town!!
This video ❤
Bournemouth fan here, just hearing about what happened that day made me cry, very crazy day
I take off my hat to those who put this together. It was personable and human. And I bow to you Captain Tom for your honesty and warmth, showing that real leadership is exhibited when adversity is at it's worse. Thank you.
What a moving interview. Such dignity, honesty and humility. I wish Tom and his family well.
The worst have passed. It's on and upwards from here on out. Hopefully U can play again but if not, we will support you no matter what you do. COYH. 🙏 ❤😊
Watching this brought a tear to my eye. I was at Wembley last May when he went down. Captain Fantastic and a wonderful man.
He’s a true inspiration for others 🧡🎩, if he does or doesn’t get the good health to play for us again he will always be loved by Luton fans all over the world 🌍. God bless you Tommy 🧡🎩🧡
Such a dignified humble human being. A credit to his profession and club. Hope to see you back on the pitch fully recovered. 🎩❤️
Here come the ‘he got the jab that’s why’ comments. This guy has done so much for the club and he is a legend. He deserves to still be here 🧡
well you have another explanation why so many sportsmen are dropping from heart problems since compulsory vaccinations ????
@@2010Dilysim in southampton academy and my teammates and even the seniors got the jab yet nothing happened. No other friends of mine who plays in other club and has the jab even complained about having heart problems so quit the nonsense
@@2010DilysI’m skeptical of the vaccine too, but look at Stephen O’Donnell, Fabrice Muamba etc… these sudden heart attacks can hit anyone who pushes themselves too far. Don’t think there is any link there mate
@@firstlast-bd5wcit's obviously not going to be everyone, unfortunately some have been affected though, some life changing, a lass in Sunderland died from her jabs with deep vein thrombosis.
@@leeroii89 ok but its like 1% chance. When youre talking about people collapsing its not because of the vaccine, its because they have other contributing factors such as an existing heart problem
Strong Guy! Best Wishes from Germany. Stay Strong and come Back to the Field. Good Bless You😊
Wow thanks Tom. Inspirational. As someone who has had life saving heart surgery, it's a story very close to my... well, heart. I'll be back at Bournemouth next month, for what is bound to be an emotional evening
As a Liverpool FAN This Could have ended really bad but thanks to the Paramedics Etc LOCKYER is stil alive so huge respect for the Paramedics
Thankful. 🧡
Really good and moving video. Tom, you will always be a part of Luton and you are loved by the fans...look forward to seeing fully back in any capacity soon
Very touching vlog.
From a very humble guy who's huge personality
continues too light up the kenny .❤ .
On or off the pitch .
Classy from Luton and Tom. Fair play to all and thanks to all involved in helping him. Much love from a Welsh, Spurs fan
I wish him a long life and 1000 years of happiness 😢
I’ve followed nascar since I was a boy. I can remember that feeling of watching a crash and knowing it wasn’t good, Lockyer’s incident stirred that. Watching Lockyer and listening to him speak about not being able to play almost being worse than being in that spot stirred memories, but I’m glad he’s okay! Go Hatters!!!
From the Villa to Luton = stay up will you as the Premier league needs you 👍🇬🇧
Get well soon Tom, we all love you.
I’m so glad that you’re still here with us, Tom! I will be praying for you! I will pray for continued healing, strength, and peace! God bless you! ❤ Your message stressing the importance of learning CPR is wonderful. CPR and early AED use really does save lives!
Nothing like a lovely heartbeat.❤
What a lovely bloke. So selfless towards the whole situation despite how personal & horrible it really is for him. I loved him at my club Charlton, a proper old school defender who always gave his all for the badge. We’re crying out for a defender like him right now and truth be told there isn’t many about like him anymore.
Regardless of whether he returns to the game or not, he’s had a fantastic career. Still a young man with a young family with his whole life ahead of him. Some things are more important than football. All the best Locks ❤️
What an inspiration and positive role model to anyone going through their own adversity
What a captain hope he can come back and play football again 😢 and you’ve got to say the hat he has got on is brilliant in the video
God bless him and his family❤❤❤ good to see him well and talking. Hope this never happens again.🙏🙏🙏🙏
Look after yourself Tom your family need you more then football. All the best, a Leeds fan.
Hope you and your team have a good season!
YOU'LL NEVER WALK ALONE!!!
Love ya Tommy !!! Great captain, great player and great person 1 of the best defenders Luton has ever had and i have everything crossed that Tom either plays again or stays as a coach coz itd not the same without him Oh tommy tommy !!!!! We are the famous Luton town
God bless you live long with happiness... 🙏🙏🙏
🧡🧡🧡🧡🧡🧡 that was emotional
I'm not even a Luton fan and I was emotional
I woke up that day, combing my hair, excited to watch some amazing football play out in front of me. I could not have gotten on my knees and prayed any faster..
Very humble and nice man. I hope he stays fit and well and has a good future. By the way. The ' I hate golf ' cap is a wind up for his mate Carlton 😅.
Whatever the future holds for Tom, he can be proud that he has captained Luton into the Premier League, an acheivement most never thought possible. He will go down in history as one of our most successful captains. At the age of 29, I hope that's enough for him. Thanks Tom.
Such a strong resilient character. A true leader and one Luton can be proud to have. As a Forest fan, I wish him and Luton all the best and a successful end to the season (just not against us). :)
I teach CPR and AED usage and now use Tom's (amongst others) inceredible story to get the message over as to how important it is to have these 1st Aid skills. For every minute that a person doesn't get CPR they lose around 7% to 10% chance of surviving. Even if you learn hands only CPR it can be enough to help keep a person alive. So glad it helped you that day Tom and I wish you all the very best mate. Thank you for sharing your story.
Do you show footage from air ambulance when cameraman i thing it is takes cardiac arrest in control room. Seen it on last first aid course and shows how to do it properly and how brutal it looks.
@@scottmeehan2422 Not seen that particular video but I do show one that sounds similar.
As a Watford fan, I still feel bad for him and hope he’s okay
we're all very fortunate you are alive Tom
What a nice guy! I wish him all the very best and hope he gets to play again.
Thank god he's OK,I'm a cov fan and daw what happened at Wembley,my brother aged 19 collapsed the sane way playing the sport he loved but unfortunately he died on his way to hospital so this video made me cry.
sorry for your loss bro ❤
@@p0loGD thank you
Luton town is a really good team, they deserve to stop up! X
What an incredible guy. A real example of a leader and a fantastic role model of a premier league footballer.
From a family friend that knows Chris, a big shout out him his other medical staff and all paramedical on the incredible job they do day in day out!!
Coming from a Man United fan here: I was really worried I remember watching the match on t.v and I really was worried about Tom's health, because something similar happened to Eriksen a couple of years ago. I am really glad he's ok plus at the end of the day health always comes first in football no matter what. Plus well done to the paramedics for their quick thinking that day 💯🙏. All the best Tom stay strong 💪🦁🙏👍.
Manunited fan here get well soon Tom you deserve it all❤
Locks❤️
Ooooooooh Tommy tommy
TOMMY TOMMY TOMMY LOCKYER!!
God bless you Tommy and hope Luton stay up from AFC supporter.👍
Watching this proves it doesn’t matter who you support. The rivalry, the competition is irrelevant when a player goes through what Tom did. Wish him all the best and hope he is doing well
Wish you speedy recovery 🎉
Not only being a Luton fan is it hard not to cry I feel like any other fan feels like it’s hard not to cry or feel emotional in anyway
Legend 😢
Locks 🧡

I’m glad he’s okay now. Wishing him and his family all the best
Really touchy vlog but his hat is kinda throwing me off 😂❤
im glad someone said it lols. i kinda want one now tho
I wouldve liked to know if the Drs had a diagnosis from the tests so far ? Why did they put the icd epicardially? rather than internal, also the placement of the device.
I Love the Hat 🎩
It would be nice to see him return to the vitality stadium as Bournemouth would have a connection to tom and luton.
God bless you Skipper
I ‘ll ask the question we all want to know.
Will you play again?
Even if you can’t , stay at the club as a coach
I don't even support Luton, never have and never will but I will never forget how worried I was when I heard about his collapse. Some things are just bigger than football
Heath comes first Tom the rest will happen if the Doctor's say you can you belong at Luton town just get well soon enjoy time with family 💖
I'm so sorry
GBU Tom 💪
I didn't cry, you did. 😭😢
I hope you play next season in the Premier League
Love from Tottenham ❤❤
Pls no Tottenham jokes this is a serious video
Agreed
Do you think he will make an appearance just before the rearranged game kicks off? Feel like he’d get a magnificent reception from Dean Court 🍒🍒🍒
teh goat
Lockyer is a legendary man and a great captain…but this is the second time this has happened within the span of seven months. I feel like if this is what’s gonna keep happening to him…he should retire before something abysmal happens…cause nobody would want the worst for him
is he going to be playing again? 🧡🧡🎩🎩
Get vell Tom!
Please add a LINK to a reputable CPR Training Video -
Tom Lockyer mate im the same as well
Get well soon and return into the pitch.
what a moving video. hope it does not happen again tom.
Safe and effective
I had a cardiac arrest and needed a defibrillator as soon as possible
try and learn CPR guys!🥺🙏
Only me that sees the text on his cap?
He’s coming back in early July.
No he isn’t if you saw that on the app called FOTMOB then it’s a lie coz it’s not confirmed
WISH WE BEAT LIVERPOOL
How about a big message , like what caused it ?
Was it Pfizer or Moderna?
🧡🤍💙
Biggest club in England tbh
Tom needs to retire.
One bitten, twice shy, three times a fool.
Next time, and there will be a next time, he might not be as fortunate. I wish him well though.
Seems like a good guy, except for his cap😉
Shouldn't of been allowed back on the pitch after the first incident, also eriksen shouldn't be playing football, you’re frigging heart stopped beating whilst exercising, its dangerous, and what's scary there's no concrete reason why their heart stopped in the first place
