I was a top rated seller last year and you are exactly right I have been buying and selling on eBay for 14 years it happened to me. I am a smaller scale seller but in 2017 I tried stepping up my game only to have scammers do the Same to me. Right now I am working hard to get back to the top rated seller position but it seems like every time I turn around something is happening. EBay rules are just to outdated. Sometimes things happen that doesn’t mean we are bad sellers or trying to scam buyers. I told Ryan I know that is the reason that sellers are moving to other platforms.

Couldn't agree with you more! It makes me sad that we are busting our butts to do a great job and meet all eBay's requirements, and they are rewarding the scammers. I would like eBay to back us up a little more than they are. They used to do a good job at this, but lately it seems to be getting worse.

They play it safe, because if the person doesn’t turn out to be a scammer they can go to court and sue eBay, so by fucking up the seller they save them self from getting into legal problems

Worst part is that eBay is supporting the negative side of the business and encouraging dishonest buyers instead of supporting the honest sellers. Since sellers cannot give negative feedback perhaps they can in situations like this give neutral feedback showing a pattern that the buyer consistently returns stuff for refunds. Of course they will then create a new name and do it again. eBay will also no longer let sellers choose on a listing not to sell to someone with less than 10 feedbacks thereby encouraging the crooks to just keep on keepin on.

    • @pleasuretokill

But, ebay knows that sellers are hungry for money. They know there will ALWAYS be new sellers who will put up with more and more bullshit to try to make those dollars. They will usually always side with the buyer unless you can prove to them 100% that you are in the right, and even then they may side with the buyer. Ebay would MUCH rather have mad sellers who want to leave, but, are reliant on income from them than buyers who will bounce and take their money elsewhere. Money from sellers is totally replaceable, money from buyers is not.

    • @joannsmith150
      @joannsmith150 6 лет назад

So true but eBay doesn't see it that way. Take for instance the letter I received asking us to sign the petition in regard to the new tax law. They make it sound like eBay is trying to help the seller! We all know that eBay only has themselves in mind. If they didn't then they couldn't care less to write us sellers.

I hear you, eBay does need a department that can handle this issue because there are too many people out there looking for getting items for free. It's almost like a game with them, to see how many times they can steal before getting kicked off.

My favorite is when an item is shipped and shows delivered, but the buyer says they didn't get it so they open a case against you. I mean why is it my responsibility once I've dropped it off at he Post Office? I didn't deliver it!

    • @5797029
      @5797029 6 лет назад +1

2ndhanddaisy. Ebay will close the case in your favor if the tracking shows delivered. I had one recently ask for signature confirmation. I even paid the $1.65 extra. They opened a case for item not received even though we had a signature at delivery. Ebay closed this one immediately. This one was a no brainer. It is the buyers responsibility to provide a secure place for delivery. Mike

    • @2ndhanddaisy
      @2ndhanddaisy 6 лет назад

Thanks Mike :-) I wasn't really worried about losing the case so much as I was annoyed that Ebay or Paypal would even allow a buyer to open a case like that against me because I'm not the Post Office and didn't deliver the package. Just shows they don't really have the sellers backs.

So aggravating. Perfect playground for opportunists. Ebay. Ugh. Ive had a few people want to return items and they totally LIED. Not my fault if they have buyers remorse. I make it clear to ask questions prior to bidding. If Ebay did their research and saw that the buyer never even asked a question about the item, that shows even moreso that the buyer is being careless. All buyers have to do is claim they never got the item or that it was damaged and boom! Refund. You are so right about saying "be ready for it"...I am currently trying to find other places to start selling and leaving them in the dust. Thanks for addressing this issue!

This may help some smaller sellers starting out or long time sellers. As soon as I get a message from a buyer where they ask a question of a said item they purchased from me, "Oh, I bought the wrong item or I thought it was something else". That is when I call eBay EVERY SINGLE TIME, for a reason. I CALL EBAY BEFORE I RESPOND TO ANY BUYERS MESSAGES!!
I don't do free returns as my items are heavy & sometimes upwards of $30-$50 bucks for shipping. I do offer "Free Shipping" but I bring it to eBay's attention that the Buyer just admitted THEY made a mistake & didn't read the listing or even look at all the pictures.
The reason I do this is so eBay Customer Service makes a note in the transaction that the BUYER JUST ADMITTED THEY WERE IN THE WRONG! I am very polite & professional in every way possible to my Buyers & I pay for returns if my fault. But when the Buyer goes to check the "Appropriate" box to make a return & then they see THEY HAVE TO PAY RETURN SHIPPING, they then click "Item Not As Described or Detective" so they don't have to pay for return shipping as clearly stated in my "Terms" & in every listing. Ebay then see's that I called & they take note of a Buyer's remorse & they have ALWAYS sided with me because they see it was the BUYER & NOT ME, Before they go to return it.
I have added a camera system setup at my packing station where I TAPE EVERYTHING, from packing up everything to the label being put on to that buyer. I haven't had to use it yet, but I hear it helps some cases. I still have my 100% feedback rating without a single negative.....Knock on wood!!! Yet!! I just call eBay every single time for everything!! I hope I'm driving them crazy for what they make from me!!!
Thanks for this video! Unfortunately it's part of doing any E-Commerce business. I have been screwed over so many times & there are weeks that are horrific with buyers & returns that make you want to quit as many new sellers do. You have to let it go if you are going to sell online (or any re-selling). But dammit you can't help to take it personal at times. Like you mentioned, it gets to everybody at times when people are so dishonest & scamming is their thing!! Fraudulent returns is 5+ "Multi-Billion Dollar" yearly problem/issue in the US.
OK sorry for the rambling on!! Peace & Good-luck Everybody!!

Everyone is a reseller these days, lol!.... and then resellers get mad when you won't give your items away to them so they can make money off of them.... it's hilarious. Gotta play the game!

Ebay cares about us sellers when they want there money from our sales & listing fees. I would keep calling & talk to someone every day until you get credit. The package weight should mean a lot as well. I started going to different flea markets selling lots of items. That might be a better thing to start doing. You can sell the items cheaper because there are no fees or shipping costs. Then they won't have to worry about sellers or buyers because they won't have anyone. They have to realize you can sell anywhere they're not the only game in town anymore.

they're one of a handfull of organisation's that can put your items infront of many many more potential customer's than a flea market can, theres no comparison but i agree they are not taking care of the selller's like they should after all we pay the fees

  • @davidk9663
    @davidk9663 6 лет назад

I am with you on this topic 100%
I had a $400 item that the buyer admitted in the messages to taking apart, messages eBay can and does read. I called in to have the return closed out, and they were great about closing it, i did not have to refund the buyer, but eBay went ahead and gave the buyer $400 out of their own pockets and let them keep the item.
What burns me up is that this is where our fees are going. That $400 may not have directly came from me, but it did come from the fees i pay eBay, and they thew it away on a bad buyer like it was nothing. They did the same thing before on a $250 item my buyer destroyed and returned.
If they gave their sellers half the love they gave KNOWN scammers, we would be doing okay, but instead we get seller updates squeezing us for more money, higher standards and taking away perks and discounts we have EARNED by being great sellers. There is just no love for the ones who pay eBay, and after this latest summer update, i do not see that changing anytime soon.

You need to copy and paste the tracking number in for both items right after you ship it. But yea, I got 10k feedback on my main account and eBay tried to give me a run around on some stuff last year. I literally never complain about buyers abusing the the returns if I can at least get the item back and can sell it. But I sold a brand new $300 retail NFL jersey last year and the buyer opened and item not as described and sent me back a fake one. Just about blew a gasket getting on the phone with eBay over it, I think I have called them one time in the past 5 years. That account I started in 2010, I was saying the same thing to them. Why after 8 years would I risk my eBay account over something like this. Surreal they even treat decent sized sellers this way.

This is what happened to me! I sold a Tiffany bracelet worth $1,900 and the buyer returned a fake copy of it asking for a refund. I sent pictures to eBay to show the differences between my bracelet and this fake copy. I even provided the receipt from Tiffany store when the bracelet was bought to prove authenticity. eBay's response was "the buyer is entitled to the full refund" and "we wish you the best on your future transactions". They full refund the buyer, did not care I lost $1,900 and my Tiffany gold bracelet. they let those scammers steal form us sellers and supported them 100%. don't sell on eBay, believe me, it's a nightmare!

I agree with you 100% about eBay. I had 2 situations, one last year and one this year. Last year I sold a headlight for a Mercedes. European headlight. Nothing wrong with it. I had several photos of the headlight. Shipped it out to the buyer. 3 days after they had received it they claimed it was broken and wanted a refund. There was nothing wrong with the headlight. I ended up having to refund their money and pay for the return shipping. When I got the part back I looked at it. It could tell right away it was not the part that I had shipped out. I called eBay and they were no help at all. This year I was selling a lot of new Peugeot parts that I had left over from when I closed my repair shop. I had a guy from NY want to buy several things. I've bought several things off of eBay myself and they go into my "shopping cart" and I pay for everything at one time. This guy was not doing that. His purchases were coming through as individual purchases and payments at a time. Having been burned once before, this sent up warning signals. I called eBay thinking something was going on on my side wondering why all his purchases where coming through as individual purchases. They said that the buyer was not putting the items in his shopping cart. So I contacted the buyer to put everything in his shopping cart first before paying for everything. He still did not do that. And the other thing was as individual purchases it was adding shipping costs on each item where he was asking to be reimbursed for that. The whole thing just seemed shady and I canceled the sale.

Amen! This top seller is GONE, going to use another way to sell with NO EBay fees! They take usually $1,000 a month for EBay’s cut, then PayPal, then listing fees, on and on. They backed a buy/scammer and it became more than just an item, it became how much EBay cares about all of us. They seem to like the big sellers they now have on here such as overstock .com, Sears, Dooney & Bourke, AMPEX, Silvertown, on and on. They only wish we could be big enough that we could absorb losses like the big guns. I have been told on numerous occasions that they can not see the damage, or defects so they have to side with the buyer. What? They chose to give into the buyer with 0 feedback, over a seller with over 3,000 hard earned positive feedback. I hope this buyer can supply EBay with the amount of money I have brought in each and every month. Bye bye EBay.

I just started selling on eBay and they do it more to people who have just started because they know you don't have the feedback to prove you're a good seller. It's very frustrating and I want to quit already but I'm not. If it continues I'm definitely going to try and find a news outlet to put this out there and gather more sellers to make a big issue of it. When people see they can scam so easily they'll keep doing it.

The reality is, eBay is the best place to shop (specifically if you're a chronic returner or scammer). Most retailers have cut back on generous return policies. Think Nordstroms, L.L. Bean, Costco, and even Amazon. With eBay you have a 60-day return window on everything, with no questions asked. They state the policy is 30 days, but really once a request is open it's extended to 60 days. Also, mind you the aforementioned retailers do not pay a lofty 10% commission net, do not always offer free shipping, are able to scrutinize their returns for fraud, and even able to ban shoppers by their driver's license number. The reason eBay does this is that they can, with all the liability on the seller, they can literally afford to offer whatever they'd like. This is the problem with platforms like eBay, Uber, Lyft, Turo, and many others. Their business model is to offload all responsibilities and problems and simply act as a broker and take a generous cut, without any of the nasty pitfalls of actually doing the business.
This is another reason you see far fewer small sellers on eBay than you did say in the early 2000s. Many people simply couldn't make money selling what they were selling, say items with only a 10% net margin to begin with, or items that were prone to buyer's remorse etc. With that, a lot of the selection and amount of esoteric items declined, which was part of what made the eBay marketplace so unique and vibrant. Here is an example, eBay used to be a great place to list broken items with no returns. You list it for a very reasonable price, as broken for parts, and typically everybody was happy. Now you have buyers who will purchase numerous examples of a said broken product, in an attempt to find one that isn't in fact broken, and return the rest as "item not as described" etc.
The fact of the matter is that "as-is" sellers have vanished. That was my particular sales model, I would sell closeouts at the lowest possible price on an as-is basis. Now I would routinely elect to give refunds based on a preponderance of the evidence. Now that eBay enforces that all sales are not final, and in fact are not really fully cemented for 60 days, that model is no longer viable. Another major flaw in eBays evolution is that they silently stopped enforcing the confirmed address policy. A buyer can literally type in anything, freight forwarding address, addresses that aren't theirs, a communal address for scamming, or basically anything they would like. On the transaction, everything will show up as confirmed. eBay doesn't even give their sellers free agency to decide if they feel comfortable going through with a sale or not. They also encourage drop shippers, while I do not mind drop shippers, I used to require them to sign a separate agreement with my company that provided certain protections for me, and avenues to resolve torts if they were to arise. Now nobody can do that, they are forced to take any sale that populates. You figure out these orders right away because they'll leave a note in the order stating not to include any invoices or receipts.
Furthermore, many buyers aren't scammers exactly but rather extortionists. They understand how much returns, defects, and other issues cost you as a seller so they will ask for say the shipping amount or even close to two times it (think about it, if you perform a return you'll be out 2 labels) as a goodwill credit, knowing that you'll probably go ahead and do it because if you do not you'll have lost the same amount of money but even more of your time. Another point is that eBays return system does not allow for shipping damage claims, and seriously hampers any chance of getting a claim successfully paid out. They require you to take back the item, which means sending it on another trip, creating a chain of custody problem. Your only chance in these instances is that your buyer is willing to work with you. Didn't mean to rant, but I am extremely nostalgic for the old days of eBay. If it isn't broke, don't' fix it.

I've been on eBay since 2001. They used to be seller friendly but maybe around 10 years ago, they almost became the sellers enemy. A lot of people made their living on eBay at that time. In a short period of time, eBay's changes wiped out many sellers. They went from thousands of dollars per month to just a few hundred. It was horrible and eBay haven't been as good since that time before the changes.

Great video bro! Sellers revolt! If a seasoned seller with hundreds of feedback calls ebay and says they have been scammed - EBAY HELP US. Why would we be lying? When you sell thousands of $$$ per month and you call ebay once in a blue moon and say I've been scammed in a transaction, HAVE OUR BACKS. EBay makes billions of dollars off of us, yes they made the platform but we do the work. Even if you don't want to "upset" the buyer, then REFUND US BOTH - EBAY, YOU HAVE THE MONEY.

I’ve notice that on Poshmark and Mercari many sellers actually video tape packaging all sales going out. They also advertise that all of them will be video taped for the sellers protection in event of any description disputes. When I asked about this I was told it took all complaints down to ZERO. People lie, but the camara does not. When people see that you video tape it all, they simply skip your listing. It may be worth it. You only have to keep the video long enough for the transaction to be complete. Try it for a month and see if it helps. Would love an update!

I did a search in my store for an item that I have 8 listings for and 13 listings came up, 5 from other sellers, looking like it was all inventory in my store! Another thing is that you're only allowed one! search in the store. If you try to do another search it just takes you to the ebay general search! Having a store just isn't worth it any more. Add to that, ebay now has taken the "seller's other items" link off the page of sellers who have stores. 😨

I just found you on RUclips and subscribed. What you are saying is the absolute truth about scams happening more and more on eBay, hence I have chosen to diversify what platforms I am selling on, and although I used to be an Amazon FBA seller, I feel that they also don't care about sellers, either. When you have a perfect track record with eBay, why wouldn't eBay take care of sellers? Why wouldn't they look at our history? I totally agree with you 100%. They need to get better or they will lose sellers. Maybe they don't care if they lose some sellers but if it ends up snowballing and a lot of excellent sellers jump ship, they may have to re-think it. As of now, I do believe that so many sellers have now decided to test the waters on other platforms that they hadn't even considered before now. Anyway, so glad to have found your channel on RUclips. :)

Record the serial number of the electronics, take a photo of the serial number with your packing slip.
Dutch auctions if you sell multiples of items, circle the quantity and initial it on the packing slip. Take a photo of it.
Once they receive the item and the feedback is left, you can delete the photos. It's more work but it some simple insurance on your part to cover yourself, because ebay honestly does not care about the seller.
Been selling on and off since 1997 on ebay.

Report these people to their local Police Department / District Attorney. They are committing fraud. It's despicable that eBay ignored these loopholes at the sellers expense, anyone with common sense knows that they are committing fraud but they won't protect their sellers because they know we don't have an alternative platform to sell. They are taking advantage just like the fraudulent buyers.

Yup. Same thing happened to me. Been buying/selling on ebay since '02. I sell mostly high priced items. And two occasions they sided with buyer when it was clear I did everything right. If a situation happens like that again I will stop selling on eBay. And that's around $300 in fees they will lose a month. Both eBay AND PayPal have to do something about protecting sellers more.

Well said Kirk I've too been frustrated with ebay...they seem to always side with the buyer's....the customer is not always right ! We help ebay make their money as sellers and recently I've had my funds on hold and its impossible to call them and get them to answer the phone...had been waiting up to 45 minutes without a rep answering. You cannot email them anymore...you were smart not to go to the open in my opinion. Are they trying to be the new amazon.

I think we as ebay sellers need a more organized group or place to meet and support each other. Ebay doesn't do enough to help us out, so why not try to help each other out? I've been on ebay since 2003, but only recently in the last few years started selling a lot on there. The biggest problems I have encountered are with Seller Performance Ratings and Seller Defects. We are only allowed 99.7% approval rating. Meaning, if you have a defect rating of more than 0.30% you are "below standard" and basically can't sell shit. You could even be suspended or banned if for having a 99.6% excellence rating. I don't know of any COMPANY or BRAND in this world that can have a 99% approval rating. This standard is just impossible to keep up and all it takes is 1 or 2 bad apples to ruin our entire work. Ebay needs to give us more leniency and more room to operate as small time sellers. I can't "out-volume" my defects like the power sellers can. I can afford a maximum of 2 or 3 defects out of 1,000 transactions!!! That is a ridiculous standard for us to keep especially knowing that most of these "cases" are not even our fault, some are attempted scams, buyers circumventing or finding loopholes around the policies to win cases easy so we just have to refund them without even trying to put up a fight. It's so sad. I gotta make my own videos on this too.

The scams that are being perpetrated by eBay buyers is nothing compared to what we went through when we owned a video rental store back on the 90's. Over a three year period we lost hundreds of cassette tapes costing us thousands of dollars. We lost the cassette and the late fee and then had to replace it at a cost of around $65 each. We also lost the rental income on the time sensitive movies until a replacement arrived. We also lost the "customer" because they weren't coming back to our store again. We also had to hire private investigators to go out and try to recover the stolen merchandise because the police did not take these thefts seriously. In hindsight, video rental stores were a flawed business concept. Most brick and mortar businesses have major theft problems. The occasional scammer on ebay isn't even a minor speed bump. It's the cost of doing business.

I know how you feel dude, I'm going through the process of getting scammed also. I have 100% feedback with around 120 different reviews (Not much but I'm new). An item I sold was listed Parts or Repair only and the buyer claims it doesn't turn on. We'll see what ebay says about this but I'm guessing from what I'm hearing, they'll side with this buyer that only has 2 positive feedback. Give him all his money back and probably let him keep the item.

I have been off ebay for a few years now as I got scammed multiple times. From what i have seen it usually happens for higher priced items. I sold a limited edition Barbie wedding set unopened and the lady who bought it waited until the last day to file a complaint and said that item sent to her was not new and had been played with. She would not offer proof and said she had a witness see the item when she opened it. she filed for a refund and ebay took my money but when the lady sent back the item it was a completely different box and was missing the stand and the earrings were broke off. After i contacted ebay they said I couldnt file a complaint until the case was closed and then when i called after case was closed they said I couldnt do anything about it because judgement was already made and case was closed.

I agree with what you are saying as this is your side of the story and you seem genuine that you got scammed..... especially with that first item that got sent back and was different. But as a buyer.... it is hard to trust sellers. Especially with expensive items. Seems there are more sellers scamming than buyers scamming. But I guess the moral of the story is.... People suck. On both sides. You seem like a good dude and I would trust buying from you.

p.s. I don't expect any progress from a company on the matter anytime soon who themselves are stealing from each and everyone of us. If you calculate the final value fees as a percentage that eBay has charged on every single transaction dating back to July of last year you will see it does not equal 10% (or less on some items that have a different rate) It does however equal 10.3% ( or 0.3% higher on the other ones) on every single last transaction. I've confirmed this to be true now with multiple other sellers and not one time has it been the correct amount leading me to believe eBay is doing this across the entire platform stealing what I can only guess is hundreds of thousands from us every month. I've phoned them about this on multiple occasions and was told on the first 5 or 6 that I'm wrong and the numbers are right , I was treated like a complete shmuck when I know with 100% certainty I'm right. I would have never called if I hadn't done my research first. On the last call I made to them I was escalated to a supervisor who finally admitted that it wasn't the correct amount and that she would handle correcting it and what money was owed back to me. She said she would call me back when it's done. Well it's many weeks later now and no call, no credits and no fix. I'm still being charged to this very day 10.3% and so are you ! This is what eBay thinks of us folks, we are eBay's huckleberry

I've bought for 11 yrs. and have only had a problem with 2 sellers ( both sold me a piece of junk). Both were voice recorders and sold for $20-25. The first I returned for a prompt refund with no problem. The second, the seller returned my refund immediately. I told him I was returning the item but he INSISTED I trash it 😊. But for someone to send me exactly what I paid for, and I get my money back and send them a box of ROCKS?! Ppl sure are bold.

I don't sell much on EBAY anymore since they favor the buyer in most situations. Sellers should be able to leave feedback for the buyer. How do sellers know who is a good buyer or not if you're not allowed to leave feedback? A very stupid EBAY policy. I sell on Craigslist mostly and meet people locally in person.

That is really strange. I used to be a Ebay seller. Never really had problems like that but it was like 6-10 years ago. I only had one problem buying and never received the item and opened a case. Never could contact the seller. I got payment back. I must have sold 1000 items on there mostly comics and sports cards and various things. I think maybe over the years criminals thought they could just use this scam and get away with it because the law does not do anything to them. You can forget Ebay siding with the sellers though from what is being said. If you have proven photos on what you are selling how can a customer state the item is damaged and get their money back with no evidence. Times have changed greatly the past 10 years. Everyday most of us get unwanted and scam calls via phone (someone saying your computer is causing a problem and needs to be fixed then they want control to fix it. They actually give it a virus and charge you to get it fixed) IRS scams and now the Ebay scams because no one is going to do anything about it. If a customer is giving out more then 10% bad feedback and scamming others then Ebay should ban them and their IPO address. Ebay just does not wish to get involved in these cases so they settle most of the time with buyers. It is like stealing from a store and getting away with it via on-line purchases. There is nothing to stop these people so they will continue stealing from others. The world is full of scam artists and it pays. I liked your video and trying to help others in these cases.

We know there will be no consequences. Just take a look at some of the feedback profiles of people who have been leaving 90% negative feedback for the last 10 years claiming everything is broken, didn't get shipped, or is damaged in some way or the other.
Just yesterday I ran into a buyer with 50 pages of nothing but bad feedback left to every single seller, yet there they are still doing the same thing 10 years later. Time and time again it's the same story. If eBay actually cared, they could put an end to it.

Just found your channel and subscribed. I've been selling on eBay casually since 2005 but am trying to step up my game since I was recently laid off from my full time job. Was scammed twice during the holidays and was lucky that eBay Apple sided with me on one and gave both the borrower and me back the money on the other...just like your situation. Apple watch was sent return receipt to the buyer's Paypal address and he disputed saying the purchase was unauthorized. He got it....but says it was unauthorized...but he didn't send it back. Ummm...Ok! I just left it at that because I did get my money back. Of course the buyer closed his account after he got my free Apple watch. So I'm wary of selling higher end items. Next time I'm sure eBay won't have my back. I'm sticking to clothing and lower priced hardlines items. Have been having a lot of success on Poshmark and will be getting in on the Amazon game shortly. Will continue to follow your journey.

I used to send items without tracking and was getting approx 20% of item's shipped that somehow "vanished" and non delivery cases were opened, I switched to tracked on all my items and added the extra costs to the purchase price suddenly 100% are now delivered, lots of scammers out there, just have to do everything you can to stop them targeting you.

They opened a return thru ebay took the payment back (per rules) and put on hold, he wanted full refund here's where it gets fun. the posting stated No Returns, the buyer 2 days later emailed "he did not need it anymore". So i responded with this On my conditions the buyer because of his inconsistency i told them to not return item to me. but if they want anything refund they were to melt the remote (picture it) , melt the dvd/vcr combo face and picture it, why would i want it back and the tears starting flowing. to cut this short no pictures it was a scam. but i took the total, less shipping and half was returned to keep the 100 percent rating. case closed.

EbayKirk, enjoying your vids! Just saw this. This may only help a little, but for your first issue, I always ask the buyer send me pics of exactly what's wrong if they say it arrived broken or whatever. A couple of times, I've had buyers say never mind and never heard from them again. Also, if you ship Priority Mail, and it's insured, you can just refund and then get your money back from the USPS. At least you wouldn't be taking a complete loss. The second issue is an easy fix, just take a second and add the tracking number to the other items in the combined shipment. Always slap that tracking info on every item regardless of how many are in the box. I hope this helps, it's all CYA! Happy hunting! - Brad

I think Ebay needs to invest a portion of their profit back into a losses division. If, for example, a seller has shown all valid evidence of the transaction, then THEY, Ebay, Should refund Both. Afterwards each account gets a flag. If you have more than a certain amount flags say in a years Span..then the account gets forwarded for review in a Legal dept. If I was an Ebay employee I wouldn't want to lose either side of the business, buyers nor investors, (sellers). Rules & regulations should be reviewed & revised if needed every year. Maybe even a buyer beware clause. Only so many refunds per year before a legal investigation gets involved.
    I don't know, but love you guys.😎

Or they could just monitor the negative feedback being left and if someone is leaving an excessive amount, flag the account. Nobody has luck THAT bad.
There is a million easy things they could do, but they don't because it does not matter to them.

I feel eBay is dying..that is why they are advertising so much. I use yo have 100 posting at a time and just recently pulled all my items off. I don't think they understand how us sellers are what drives the business. They treat us sellers like children. I would pay them over $160 a month in fees and no respect. I have been a seller for over 10 years with over 1k positive feedbacks

I sell part time on eBay. It's just another income stream, maybe $500 to $700 a month. Now eBay is hitting the little guy. I have a 30 day return policy and a disclaimer on my listings saying that the buyer has a 7 day payment cut off after that I will just conceal the order. I send the buyers a invoice stating that please pay with in 7 days of purchase after that time I'll conceal the service. Well now eBay says I have to many cancellations on my account
    I'm Below Standard NOW
1- Buyers do not pay ontime or never anymore
2- Buyers do not leave anymore feedback?
3 Buyers do not answer anymore emails?
What is wrong with these people on eBay today? You tell me? Or does everyone want free stuff on eBay?

You totally hit the spot bro. eBay is bias. Appreciate you uploading video with the concerns we all have. We sellers always strive for the best. eBay needs to take notice the importance of the sellers as well. I usually just eat it when shit happens with the buyer, don’t even bother to fight with them.
