I see all these unique props designed for tests in your videos and wonder how many of them are actually used in the field
I've only just started watching the video but the very first test is a real one I had to do for my colour blindness
I've skipped ahead and the last one is also one I had to do, also the middle one everyone knows
They’re all real. He’s an actual optometrist 😊
I don’t think many practices will have the D15 test. They will all have an Ishihara.
Each test is really quite unique in that it’s better for discovering a different type or severity of colour defectiveness.

I always enjoy watching and sleeping to your videos. I do have a question though. Certain ranges of colours I have a hard time seeing(?) (Like certain shades of green), should that be a sign I should talk to an optometrist?
You have to figure out what matrix is in your computer monitor: IPS matrices reproduce colours more accurately, while TN and others might be distorting them. Also, the larger the diagonal size of your monitor, the better.

At 8:00 are those numbers SUPPOSED to be equal brightness? To me the left number is substantially more vivid. Could it be because of the video?

Am I colorblind if I see both those and those answers of Ishihara numbers? Or is it better to look at this book and not through the monitor?
If you can read the numbers, you’re passing that test, so not that type of colourblindness.

I have the weirdest and most appropriate bug happen while watching this. While it's open or playing, even as a picture in picture, it desaturates the colors on my phone. No idea why it happens.
No other videos do that but this one does consistently, is this some form of feature of the video?
