Ulta has several. Drug store and higher end. Mario Badescu is one of the lesser expensive higher end lines because they don't spend extra unnecessary $$$ on packaging so that line is ABSOLUTELY amazing. Now is the time to take advantage of Ulta's skincare kit sales. Coupons usually don't work on those but there are really good drug store brands also those just don't have testers. I had ppl rant about several when I worked at Ulta. No7 is one. Neutrogena, Roc, ...etc. As long as you are taking care of YOUR skin type you are good. Me, I don't have to do much but some ppl have to use products daily. It's trial and error. Ulta is more expensive but allows you to return items even after you have used them so that helps you find out what works for you. Some Ulta's have really good patient caring face experts, Estheticians that will help you even with drug store recommendations. They do mini quick facials and consultations also but... you have to go in and figure out which Ulta and Estheticians work for you. Otherwise, try out your other drug stores and do trial and error. Keep a note book and keep details about your diet, the seasons, the products you used and 3ith what and you can figure out what will or won't work for your skin. You got this. Once you start and get pass the overwhelming amt of product and information and ppl trying to sell and add on etc. You will feel more powerful than ever. Try the go and glow facial. Its like 20 min if I'm not mistaken for $20ish and then start your product trials. A clean pallette is always the way to go. You got this.
I SO appreciate your beginners series! I’m 29 and just finally trying to learn how to do a full face and these videos have made it less intimidating for me!
This series is perfection!! I’m 30 and have practiced here and there wanting to learn since I was prolly 20. Ive had your videos saved since they dropped and used the beginners makeup look video to get ready for my ball yesterday and *chefs kiss*! First time I have EVER done my makeup and was liked “OK BISH!!!” I practiced three times in the AM and bam! And I was rushing lol mind you I’m a tomboy that loves makeup but haven’t felt my practice looks were ever up to par. Mind you, I have at least 50 “beginner” videos and TikTok’s saved. Thank you thank you THANK YOU
I am soooo hooked on your entire make up tutorials. Thanks for the information on color correcting. I needed to see what I was doing incorrectly (I.e. applying too much)🤦🏽♀️ . I do have a question about eyelashes, but I couldn’t find the video on it.
I hope I answered the eyelashes question in your other comment + Yass I've been there (applying too much color corrector) haha, a little goes a long way.
I love your channel, your content. Especially this beginner series. I'm yet to buy any make-up but when I do, I already have knowledge to go off on. Thank youuuu!!!!!
I watched a ton load of videos (from experts) and none of them really explained the questions I had in a way I could really understand the why’s or if’s. You said you’re not a make up artist, or skin specialist, etc… but you are the ONLY person that was able to explain and show every question or doubt I had. So for that, thank you (already subscribed). You did such an amazing job with this video and about to check out the rest. 💕
Welp....your beginners series have won me over and now you are the only person I subscribe to because I don't wanna miss anything. Thanks for breaking it down.
Very informative! I am new to primers and was curious about color corrections and how it works. Thank you! I love your self awareness. Aldo, some of my products have stains or eyeliner marks also, we all do. I started wiping them down with sanitizer wipes and it really helps.
Girl omg your a life saver just intill recently I started getting into makeup but I was so lost and confused 😭 but yo videos are so helpful i just had to subscribe 💕
Thank you for this series! I've been in such a funk and needing a new makeup routine so it's good to go back to the basics, at least it was for me. These videos helped so muchhhh thank you!!!!
You are a good teacher and thanks for sharing am a beginner and I love make up am a dark skiner i like to follow till am through thanks keep up the good work
Your make up is beautiful!! I am older and notice my skin needs help, lol! I really don’t wear foundation but, I just bought some Tinted moisturizer to start and I really love it. Your videos has really helped. Thanks for sharing
😍GemSquad!😍 I'm one of your beginners to makeup!😇 I'm having trouble correcting my dark spots under my eyes and a dark line across my nose HELP!😔 You're Awesomazing Sauce!😍
Gorgeous luv these videos. I think I got it. I’m definitely a new beginner when it comes to make up. I don’t no how to put my lashes on. Si joined you hun. Thanks
I’m a new subscriber and loving your videos. Is there any way you can show your brush that you used for your concealer application. I’m terrible with makeup but a friend of mine told me the brush makes a huge difference. Please Holly grail of brushes! Thanks for posting beautiful!
Hello I love your content! I was just wondering since I have fair skin and have dark circles underneath my eyes what color corrector I would use for that area?
Off task of color correcting and primers. Eyelashes. I have very light and extremely short eyelashes (all my life). I decided a couple of weeks ago to try mink lashes (I loved them). Now, my dilemma is I did not know the mink lashes would pull the little lashes I do have out more. 😢 What can I do to help my natural lashes grow? Sorry, for being long winded.
Jamaican black castor oil or just regular castor oil! Every other night. Don’t need much and be very careful since you’re putting it right on your eye. Maybe use a cleaned spooly brush! instead of your finger to prevent using too much oil
what say smol said! I haven't tried it personally but I've heard a lot of people use a spoolie and apply Jamaican black castor oil to the lashes for growth. be careful to not get it in the eyes.
Thank you! I’m going to order the color correct LA Girl. I’m just still not sure if I need peach or orange. I’ve been wanting to try their concealer. I got a nice tarte concealer that I love but realized it was tanner than I am
Slim Reshae Thanks girl !! I went out and got the peach 🍑!! So you’re right and I love it 😻 learned to blend with my fingers up and around vs down with sponge and it’s really working for me.
I don't always wear spf which I should do better at protecting my skin and I don't really use sunscreen on my face BUT the Mario Badescu oil free moisturizer is good for oily skin, but it also has spf.
I personally don’t like all these fillers along w foundation… it makes the skin look heavy and greasy. but I will try just the primer before foundation. I like the flawless look but half the time! lol
are there any natural looking light- medium coverage foundations that you would recommend? I’m not good at makeup so I feel like starting off lighter might be better and buying from the drugstore isn’t working out because I can’t get my shade right by myself 😭
You could try a cc cream. Maybelline fit me is buildable so you could start off by apply a small amount + for shade matching watch this ruclips.net/video/fTfF5KO4-ZY/видео.html
Ulta, if you shop there allow you to use coupons on their drug store brands (unless something has changed in the past couple years). I know there is a list of exclusions.
And if you are oily and acne prone, plzzzz wash your hands before applying with finger tips and keep your brushes cleaned and sanitized or your face will most def get worst! There are pros and cons for using your fingers. It warms the product and helps to blend but can add oil and bacteria to your face.
I wish someone sold beginner kits. I love watching makeup tutorials but I've no idea where to start 😭😭
she has a beginner kit in the series! really nice tips
Go n watch her begginer makeup tutorial. U can use only 5 products n hv a gud look as a begginer

@@cardolynward4856 Mario’s products are terrible for the skin, they have very very concentrated amounts of fragrance and damage the skin over time.
Sameeee

Do you recommend a filler/primer for under the eye fine lines/wrinkles? If so, which one?
Just what I needed right now🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰❤️ Thank you❤️

I love your videos! I have oily skin so would i use a matte primer? I’m looking for the right primer and foundation for my skin that’s oily.
yes, for oily skin I would recommend a matte primer.
Thank you! I’m going to order the color correct LA Girl. I’m just still not sure if I need peach or orange. I’ve been wanting to try their concealer. I got a nice tarte concealer that I love but realized it was tanner than I am
based on your avi, with your skin tone, I would try the peach (orange may be too intense/dark)
Slim Reshae Thanks girl !! I went out and got the peach 🍑!! So you’re right and I love it 😻 learned to blend with my fingers up and around vs down with sponge and it’s really working for me.
Yes please do a holy grail video.

Hi there do you use SPF or sunscreen if you do which one is good for oily skin thanks
I don't always wear spf which I should do better at protecting my skin and I don't really use sunscreen on my face BUT the Mario Badescu oil free moisturizer is good for oily skin, but it also has spf.
Love this video!!!!
thank you!
Yeah holy grail products all
When do you add sunscreen? After your moisturizer and before the primer? Or you can’t wear sunscreen with makeup?
yes! id do it after moisturizer and before primer
I personally don’t like all these fillers along w foundation…
it makes the skin look heavy and greasy.
but I will try just the primer before foundation.
I like the flawless look but half the time! lol
So when you use a color corrector you use that first before you start applying the rest of the makeup ?
yes, that is my recommendation.
I wash my face with a cleanser and I choose a cera ve lotion as a moisturizer.. is that okay?
so helpful!!
Glad it was helpful!
Instead of spending extra money for a primer, I usually use a vaseline lotion with aloe vera. I also you a good aftershave lotion as primer.
Thanks for sharing!!
Vaseline is bad for sensitive skin just a reminder
Please do a holy grail video 😁
I'm glad I found your channel! #Subscribed Thank you for the tips
Thank you 🙏🏾
