Casper the white lion and brothers disturbed by visitor - Satara, Kruger Park

- This video was taken during Nov 2023 on the H1-6 near Satara in Kruger park.
We encountered Casper and his 3 brothers peacefully resting next to the road - awesome sighting!
A big truck with visitors arrived and after a while the driver proceed to climb on top of the vechile to take photos.
The lions was disturbed when they saw the driver on the roof of vechile. Casper and one brother moved over the road past our car to the other side.
After a while they crossed again en joined their brothers in the bush.
The visitor moved again on top of the vechile and all 4 lions stood up and walked into the bush.
This was a very good sighting of the 4 males of the Shish Coalition but was ruined by undiciplined and selfish people who ruined it for all the other.
They were reported by several visitors to the Satara Camp management and I sincerely hope they were dealt with accordingly.

Not sure why they were acting the way they were, but animals can sense things we cannot. Maybe someone there had ill intentions or was carrying around bad energy that day. who knows 🤷 Poor Casper, why is he limping? 😢 Great video! Thanks for sharing. Always lovely to see them!
Yes something isn't right.
He was probly run over by one of those vehicles they need to fine people or throw them in jail if they get to close to the animals other countries do it!
@@refi6438 Exactly!! I freak out every time I see a car trailing a lioness with small cubs. The vehicle will be right on their heels!! Like, wth are you doing idiot?? Why don't they have stricter rules about how close you can get to the animals! 😒

Not the first time . Every time they see the green pickup with armed people in it some times they get out and direct the traffic they run. They must have a bad experience withem.

It's sad to say but their time is almost over as pride rulers. They're getting old and casper has arthritis.

Ive notice thru the years that these brothers flee when the parks security crew arrives . I'm sure I'm not the only one seeing this.

Feline perception changes. Everyone who visits a park should know this by now. But sadly....
How old is Casper now about 7? I hope he makes it 215 but it's doubtful at this point he's always hurt.
He turned 10yo as of May 2024. He'll start declining steadily now. 😩
