MAde this on New Years 2020 and it was sooooooo good!! I added a little sugar to my heavy whipping cream and French vanilla mixture and it was soooo good!!! And I drenched my cookies with the mixture and put it in the fridge two hours to make sure my cookies were soft!!😩 thank you!

AB does it again. I must confess...I found this recipe on another site. The only thing I did different was use 1/2 of the whipped cream for the pudding mix. I used the other 1/2 to sweeten with some sugar & then coat the top of the banana pudding. Let it chill overnight & BAM....the kids will eat this for breakfast, lunch, AND dinner!!!

Make sure y’all use the smaller 3.4 oz pack of instant pudding rather than the larger 5.1 oz box! Too much of the mix will make it too thick. Fantastic recipe! :)

One of my first favorite desserts as a kid. My aunt made it for family get togethers in a tall dish and would layer differently, but this looks so much better! I can't WAIT to try this, thank you so much!
If you don't want to whip out the electric beater, you can just use 16 ounces of cool whip and mix that with the pudding! The recipe says 2 pints of heavy whipping cream, so 2 pints = 16 ounces :)

GREAT job AB. I prepared banana pudding years back and the recipe was hand written by an elderly woman--and called for making custard (on stovetop double broiler)and a merengue. Also was advised that the bananas are sweeter when they have some spotting....A lot messier but if memory serves me well worth it....I had heard of this method....👍

I've made that for years. Since about the 1980s. Recipe was on the Eagle brand condensed milk can. It really pops if you layer it in a trifle bowl!!!

My mom still do the whipping cream to fold in the pudding, and uses cool whip just as an extra layer.
