    Quite a compliment to Mola Mola to use all their gear on those $500K speakers.

      Also it's oftentimes simply finding another mfr. to share the über expensive exhibitor fees for rooms, etc.

      @serg2963 2 месяца назад

      Agreed... I even hear it through my computer speakers. I had auditioned a pair of Vivid speakers years ago (I don't remember the model), and I thought they sounded too bright as well.

      Maybe as bright as the recording…mola mola is neutral, it does not take sides, and those speakers are very transparent

      He has a lot of pedigree in the industry and was honest about his designs in the presentation which I found informative. No speaker is perfect for everyone though.

    I admire the skill, technological advancement and engineering.
    From an audio-engineering perspective I struggle to comprehend why domestic ‘audiophiles’ are so lazy to employ a simply inferior passive crossover and one power amp that isn’t directly coupled to the drive units.
    I still admire the genius design.

    The name is Bruno Putzys, not "Putski". Also, Where those Vivids are concerned if they could assign a minus number for WAF, these would surely receive it. Those things are seriously ugly.

    • @orfeomonteverdi1997
      @orfeomonteverdi1997 2 месяца назад

      No, the name is Bruno Putzeys, a compatriot from Belgium. He is the inventor of Hypex and nCore class D modules. Co-developer of the Grimm LS1 loudspeaker, and designer of the Kii Three speaker.

    I have the little S12's and they are so punchy and amazing in a small room - I think these speakers would blow my mind - always difficult to demo at a show.... I think the choice of bass tracks you demoed was a bit poor....if you want something more usical I will happily send you my play list. All the best - just love your spear brand and attention to acoustic engineering excellence....

    How it possible to do a so bad selection of tracks to demonstrate the quality of speakers? 120dB probably possible but here we can see a lack of passion for good msic to make demos. Engineering is there OK (with this father of the B&W Nautilus experience) with all the work on pipes, drivers, housing, materials...

    • @michaelmityok1001
      @michaelmityok1001 2 месяца назад +1

      People listen to all types of music, especially poorly recorded music, unfortunately, so in order to demonstrate a speaker for everyone's tastes, it makes sense to play a little of everything.

    • @Phloored
      @Phloored 2 месяца назад +1

      Really? Ha! There will always be things in life that we fail to comprehend. I can assure you not everyone will like your idea of good music. But just because you fail to comprehend their choice of tracks, didn't mean there was not any thought behind it. In fact i would venture to guess there was more thought put behind it than just listening pleasure. No slag towards you, just defending what I'm sure was a very substantial consideration of choices for the demo. Very unlikely the inventory of such a revolutionary loudspeaker didn't think it through. It's is possible, i just find it unlikely.

    Is there any limit to speaker size for house? Just look at the size of this thing 😂 even if I was a billionaire I wouldn’t buy this thing because I would wouldn’t able to get it through my front door 🚪 if I own a mall or a club probably

    I like Laurence, as well as his design choices and loudspeaker philosophy. I’m just not a fan of aluminum cone drivers. To me, paper cone drivers always sound more natural and pleasing to the ear 👂.

    I can't recognize the whole electronics; it looks like that they used a "double DAC" for aesthetics / simmetry reason on the racks ? Do you have any clue bout the Mola Mola chain ? Awesome speakers, ugly as hell :D
