Ren does all of the production, instrumentals, and lyrics basically on his own. He refers to this style of performance as “bardcore”.

Yes Sir Great Reaction, you were right in thinking all these Songs were written separately, Rens said his inspiration for the Tales was a Story in the News about a young boy in court who’d gone off the rails, Jenny’s Tale was released in 2019 followed almost a year later by Screeches Tale, then he tied up the story with Violets Tale much later by releasing that Song in the Summer of 2022, all Videos done Live and in one Take.
Ren is a genius. Like, your gonna be in this journey and literally every song your gonna be like “welp, didn’t expect that, he can do that too?!” Dude’s musical range is unlike anyone in music right now bro. For real. Who can rap rap, sing sing, story tell, captivate, and do so across multiple genres of music effortlessly, all while producing/mixing his own music, while playing multiple instruments at a high level, and direct his own videos and creatively come up with the entire world he presents???? Like, it’s insane. Dude is a genius. The definition of an artist.

I heard this trilogy first time 2 months ago and I was so blown away so I basically have seen every darn reactor on RUclips react to this. And I’m glad you did this since I knew you’d love it. People like Ren and Harry Mack is what the music industry needs.

WOOO, IM SO GLAD YOU GOT ALL 3 IN ORDER. THIS STORY WAS INSAAAANE, I swear to God I rewatched the reaction to violets tale like 5 times. It's just such a crazy beginning / end to the story. Ren has such absurd storytelling skills and I'm so glad he's blowing up right now because it's so deserved. Wow, it was amazing to see your jaw drop as the story began to wrap up. It's even crazier because with so many people on this planet, it's not an entirely uncommon story, crazy shit happens, I'm so glad such a situation has been portrayed through art. You reacting to Ren has been a real joy. I don’t watch other reactors as they typically aren’t musicians/rappers like yourself. You get all the details a casual wouldn’t get because you actually make great songs. I really enjoyed all the Ren reactions. I never even heard of Ren til you dropped Hi Ren reaction. Ren’s story is so unique and heartbreaking. When I hear his music, I know why it’s so good because he spent countless hours alone learning, perfecting his craft because he had no other choice. Most people put into his situation wouldn’t embrace it like he did and he turned it into something special. Something that can’t be replicated. I grew up listening to the greats (2pac, Em, legends). After going through all of Ren’s music, I can confidently say he’s my favorite artist to date. Thanks Crypt! You’re a dope dude.

There’s so many videos I want you to react to of REN’s. I gotta be patient and just let you go on the journey, but just know there’s a Ren for everyone. He has so many styles of songs. You never know what you’re gonna get, except you know it’s gonna be fire. He’s different. Different different.

My son used to play video games with you all the time and he is still so proud of how big you've gotten over the last few years. His name is Dylan but he went by NALYD and played call of duty and fortnite. He's 22 years old and he just is always proud of me when I share stuff with him from you because he's known of you for a long time.. He says you're just like you are in your videos. You're real.
