this look came from a skateboard graphic of an anime nurse. legend has it, tony hawks company birdhouse skate co's first ever graphic was of an anime girl, early 90s. the artist, who also happened to be on tonys team, wanted to go crazy with it and started his own company which exclusively featured anime girl artwork. in the late 90s a shirt was released with an anime nurse pulling on a blue glove and wearing a red bra. it is known that the members of blink 182 were skaters who were also friends with the guy on tony hawks team that created the anime skate brand. he actually has a small cameo in the music video for the rock show, where he jumps onto the van on his board.
