?@ How does Yuja do what she does!? I have followed her for 12 years+ and I am beyond belief. Not just this piece (not her most exceptional) but all she has done over the last 20 Years or so. She is an amazing artist. We are so fortunate to have her.
Beats me. All I can say is that Gautier is probably the world's greatest cellist. These days, all the musicians Yuja shares the chamber music stage with seem to be of the highest calibre. I think these top classical musicians (like their jazz counterparts) love the process of combining their talents to produce a unique result. I am convinced Yuja prefers this to the more isolating experiences of solo concerts or performing with an orchestra.
please read carefully: the work, with its tango rhythm, 𝑠𝑒𝑒𝑚𝑠 at first simple for the listene,r but conceals, when one knows the score, a great complexity.
Soy Argentino y este es un tango de mi época, tiene olor a adoquin y barrio. Para entender ésta música de Piazzolla debes haber nacido en Buenos Aires!!!
