    I have some cuestions and doubts, i'm currently 20 years old, studying law school in a foreign university, but im a us citizen, is there a way that when i finish and get my degree, validate it in the States and possibly join as a JAG officer or what other chances do i have inside the US armed forces?thanks.

      I commissioned in the Army Reserve JAG at 42 and am now 54. I was prior enlisted for 7 years so can serve 20 years before aging out at 60. But even if I hadn't had prior service, they still would have allowed me to commission. I just wouldn't have been able to serve 20. Anyway, at 29, you are fine.

      @@goarmy I thought the rules for commission were different. Isn't 42 still the age cutoff to commission is JAG. I was 42 when I did but mine was in USAR.

    Hi sir the child in my profile pic is a child of a captain u.s. army but he is not acknowledge by his father in terms of legal paper and im here in Philippines. My ex husband divorced me without my consent cuz im here at P.I. Enable him to get mary again. My question how can i make my son to make american citizen since his father wont participate. I have DNA with my son. Im legit sir infact i am a public administrations student.

    Is there an age requirement? I am a civilian attorney who would like to become an attorney in the army.

      Qualifications include:
      ✅ 17-35 years old
      ✅ U.S. Citizen or permanent residency
      ✅ Achieve minimum score on the ASVAB test
      ✅ H.S. graduate or equivalent
      ✅ Meet medical, moral, and physical requirements
