- I got access to the closed beta test for Arena Breakout: Infinite and played a couple of raids with my buddy Older Than Average Gamer. This is my first experience playing an extraction shooter, so there's a bit of a learning curve, but so far it's been really fun!

The problem for this game and the developers is the fact that they announced "pay for convenience"-content, ......in a extraction shooter with perm' loss of equipment in case of death. This stuff doesn't sit well with hardcore gamers (like "old E.f.T", DayZ or even Squad44, HLL etc.) and most of them will never play this game because of that, even with good performance, balanced gameplay-loop and swift tech-support. It's a matter of their doctrine that everyone goes into battle with the same opportunity exept for skill in weapon handling, navigation, tactical behavior or the risk of using advanced equipment only available after putting alot of effort and time into a game.
The only way to attract this honorable hardcore-traditionalists is a lobby system which seperates "Pay-to-win" Softies and traditional hardcore gamers, like games that put cheaters in special lobbys with other cheaters. Without that measurements most hardcore fans will never play this game over a long term period.

this game is a casino , I played this game for a very long time now , the best strategy is to enter map with nothing but a knife , many design feature guarantee you cannot escape , like the size of the map is relatively small compare to the number of players , and the AI player numbers is too many , the time it takes one to cross the map is just about the time needed for scavenger to first appear , causeing literally no one escapes , and guess what , the vast majority will go bankrupt and have to put real dollars in
I'm sure as shit out of money haha. Had to go in with just a pistol and very carefully ninja some dudes and loot their shit. Was feeling pretty cool when I successfully extracted but then realized I still didn't have much for money and died on the very next raid...back to square one. It's fun though so far.
