This would be better with a cloth/wired cape. I just can't get around that cape design.
I can't believe they didn't at least correct those terrible giant hands. Midfarlane strikes again.

They should have given this Superman a cloth cap with the Superman logo on the back. I picked him up because McFarlane slapped "classic" on the box😂 I like the Superman buck body but they put the wrong trunks on him.
The face looks like Dean Cain from the 90’s Superman show.
I was happy to get this. I like the sort of skinnier body type. The vampire Superman has the same body too.
His face looked too goofy in person so I passed on this figure.

Colors are perfect for Silver Age Superman. Cape needs to be shorter and that S-emblem needs to be there. The best head sculpt should be the either the Action comics head sculpt or First Appearance .
The best Superman face sculpt they have is the Action Comics #1000 figure. So lucky to have it.. Every Superman face sculpt has something OFF about them.
Aside his smile which kinda goofy,I like it. Maybe I'll just swap the head with Rebirth Superman. And the fists also the flying hands can be from Solar Suit Superman.
So difficult for them to do classic Superman. But they nailed Cyborg Superman and Injustice Superman.
I mostly collect action figures based on their live-action appearances (if that character has appeared in live-action) so I'm waiting for the Christopher Reeve Superman that McFarlane has announced.
I think it's a great collectible figure with some flaws,
Hands mostly.
The color of his costume to me definitely stands out.
And I definitely have this Superman posing, just like at the end of issue one of John Byrne's Man of Steel.
The waist diaper piece from Action Comics is oversized for this one. I tried. I'm sure they did
At best, it's an alright Superman figure, but that's it. Unfortunately, it has more negatives than positives, which makes it an easy pass as far as I'm concerned. Thanks, Spot! As always, I appreciate the awesome video! God bless and stay safe!

To be clear, superman is NOT a founding member, of the Justice League. It's not on you Spot, it's on McFarlane for NOT doing their homework. You simply read what was printed...

It all depends on which era of DC continuity you follow. There have been times when Superman was a founding member of the Justice League, and there have been times when he wasn't. Same with Wonder Woman.
This figure is solid but those giant hands are 🗑️
And he should have scaled a bit taller 😢
The cape is awful, the face is terrible. The proportions are weird in the best way of conveying this one is a mess. It should have been on the classic green lantern body. And not look like Solomon grundy 😂❤

It's not classic is it realy I've seen as you said customs changing trunks .But spot have him fighting page punchers be great display
