I also experimented with 3d printing full brackets (1:50) and ran in to the same issues. Currently trying out a compliant mechanism design, that contours any shoe shape. Works quite well
Love seeing other streetboarders getting involved with the stress/joy of 3D printing 😅 Can’t wait to see them!
Any estimate when the new bindings will drop? I wear thick shoes globes/dc style. I can barely get enough Velcro to latch on, will they be more forgiving for thicker shoes?
Nothing concrete yet, but should be before the end of the year. We want it to fit as many shoes as possible, that’s for sure!
