- From last Friday's livestream concert, this is "Thanks To You," a song I wrote for my mom in 1998 but never performed live until now. I dedicate it today to all the wonderful mothers around the world, and especially to my own, who has given me her everything, "each breath of her life." I love you, Mom!

I lost my Mom this March. She had a reaction to the 2nd dose of the vaccine and died. No matter how ones parent(s) die, it is very sad, but inevitable. The circle of life. I'm just thankful for being her child and the time we had together. ❤
My mother was in an elderly care facility. All residents are required (mandated) to be injected. Also, I knew nothing of this till after the fact.

It's been years since I've listened to Richard Marx's music. For some reason I thought of him the other day, and I've been listening to his older music, and new music since. He was a big part of my high school years! I had no clue until the other day, that he has been married to Daisy Fuentes for the last 6 years. I think they make a great couple. Richard is still very talented and handsome, and Daisy is still beautiful. 😊

Since I lost my mom to cancer two years ago, I’m still sad because I can’t stop crying every time I listen to this song .
I had no father or sibling since I was born, and my mom was my only family.
In such a case, I think that if there is even one other relative who can rely on it,
It will be saved. No one is talking to me about my memories with my mom😔

I lost my mom 17 yrs ago right in front of me. That was the most devastating thing I had to witness,so I relate to your story. I had no one to grieve with me. Noone to share stories.i still cry when I really think about it,but you know what? Your mom is still with you. Look for the signs of maybe a favorite song of hers that comes on-maybe you might see one of her favorite things at a store, something that reminds you of her- I'd like to think she's letting you know she's there,saying "think of me." That's how I get through. Hope that helps, I'm sorry for your loss.
