What’s the highest mileage you’ve seen on these & is it worth buying one for 4,300 with 202k miles or try to get it for 3,700 but also checking all the oils/when the last checking was on the car.
I bought my 05 xr at 143,000. They taped the check engine light for a transmission sensor. Have had for over 5 years. Never has given me problems. Just maintenance. It's at 270k now. Well my ‘03 Matrix rolled 299,999 back in December of ‘21 and is now stuck at that mileage, but it’s still is on the road, new valve cover gasket and new plugs since then. The bodies will turn to dust before the power train ever fails.
I don't know man, Dexron and ATF Type IV, don't have the same specs. In fact, I found a comment on Toyota's site saying that Dexron should not be used in place of Type IV.
