Yes! You’re certainly welcome to use a WSS (water soluble stabilizer) Some shirts I do, and on some I don’t feel like it’s necessary. WSS is great for thick items like towels, lofty blankets, and Sherpa pullovers. So, it’s better to use your judgement on that. If you want to use it on a shirt, I don’t see what it can hurt 😊
I have a question, what type of interface do you use on items like the Blanks Boutique bibs where the backing is terry cloth? I've used the sticky stabilizer but I can't get it pulled off the terry cloth side. love watching your videos and learning from you.
Shurla, I have used the sticky back stabilizer; but, I too had the same problems you are having with it pulling the terry cloth out. I have since then switched to using a tearaway. If you prefer using fast frames, then I suggest you use a glue stick to glue down your tearaway to the frame, wait a minute for it to dry, then pin your bib to the tearaway stabilizer. You shouldn't have any trouble with it coming away from the design. Hope that helps :-)
I loved your video and I just had a question about where you float your extra stabilizer. Do you glue or clip it to the bottom of your sticky stabilizer thats attached to your fast frame? I used my fast frames for the first time today to monogram inside a bag. I am always learning new ways of doing things. Thanks for any help in answering my question about the placement.
Hi Nikki, so glad you are getting to use your Fast Frames. The more you use them the better you will become and that will be your go to way of embroidering! Sometimes I just float my stabilizer under the design, and other times I use a non toxic craft glue stick to glue it to the back of my sticky back stabilizer. Either way works great for me. Once you find what works for you stick with it. There is nothing more frustrating than changing it up one day and everything feels 'off' or goes wrong. I've been there. Good luck and enjoy those fast frames! Whitney
Hi Nancy, I purchased it from www.socuteappliques.com (I believe), I would suggest googling NO PLACE LIKE HOME softball edition, it should pop up. It was $4. Thanks, I thought it was a cute design too!
Thank you for the suggestion. As a tutorial style video there is typically more talking, but yes! I’ll remember your suggestion. Thank you for watching.
Just too long-winded! Who on Earth is going to want to GLUE stabilizer to their hoop...? So-sorry but this advice seems pretty useless to me, impractical and not really effective for the removal of puckering - there's still puckering and push/pull distortion on the 'fixed' version. Appreciate your time, but this is simply a flawed method and an irritatingly-wordy video to me.
I was hoping that you would show how your shirt went onto the hoop, thanks.
Oh WOW... that is amazing... going to be using this method from now on...thnx
I thought you were going to show you actually making the sandwich. I need more visual.
topper for tshirts?
I don’t fully understand your question to answer it. Can you please clarify?
@@WhitneyMarieHicks1 I am no professional, but a lot of youtube videos say to use a water soluble topper for tshirts

Can I use this stabilizer sandwich on cotton fabric when doing appllique on the embroidery mchine?
Sherri Bindas oh, yes! This is a great stabilizer sandwich combo. I use it a lot for all my Appliqués cotton or knit.
It would have been very helpful to see you actually float the other stabilizer and to see how you make sure that it catches in the stitching.

Thank you, that's what I'll try next time.
it would have been nice to see you hoop it and apply to machine
I like your energy, but for this dummy (me) I need way more detail!!!!!!!! Please show each step, putting all layers together in order.

Did I hear you say that you designed that pattern? Where can I buy it or do you sell it? Very cute.
Hi Nancy,
I purchased it from www.socuteappliques.com (I believe), I would suggest googling NO PLACE LIKE HOME softball edition, it should pop up. It was $4.
Thanks, I thought it was a cute design too!
I hate Tearaway stabilizer. I only use it on some ITH designs for specific area's of the design. Mostly I think Tearaway is a waste.
When and where did you the light weight that you cut?
More getting to the point and actually showing your actual hooping and sewing. You talk too much and stretch it out with all your talk.
The embroidery machine design is neat. Where to find it? Suggest you talk less and demonstrate more for future videos. Just a suggestion.
Thank you for the suggestion. As a tutorial style video there is typically more talking, but yes! I’ll remember your suggestion. Thank you for watching.
Showed no details of how to do anything you just show what you can did wrong

A terrible teacher.

Thank you for the critique. What information would have made the video better for you?
