Hi Leo, I'm coming abit late to the party, but I just recently installed this on my spektrum dx5r... wow the range is fantastic! I got just over 400mtr of range so theoretically I now have a total of 800plus meters of range wich is perfect for speedruns we do here in Sydney Australia. Great vid helped me out a lot with my install. Definatly a big thumbs up from me... Great vid!!
Nice mod! Thats crazy the range doubled on your controller. I need to try this, just crashed my hobao buggy at 100mph last weekend the traxxas controllers have no range at all!
I also attached this range extender, but it stops responding at a distance of about 100m. The lamp on the main unit is lit in blue. What could be the cause?
I seen you disconnected the original antenna to plug the booster in. Then in the next part i seen u was still using the stock antenna. So my question is are u still using the stock antenna along with the booster or did you disconnect the stock completely?
Do you sell the booster unit or did you get it from eBay China delivery? I don’t trust China delivery that why I ask if I can by them thru your company ?

So wait let me get this straight you spent 150 🦌 on a remote and added a booster and only tested it at 1300ft. My dumborc remote and receiver has 500 meters of range for only 45 🦌 No booster needed.

the new antenna that comes with these boosters is around 5-6dbi, high gain, so most of your range increase will have come from that.
Are you saying just hook up the antenna and that's it

Christopher James mine lights up, but it’s hard to see in the daylight. Check it in a dark area.
