Honestly I think the Chelsea Grin/Lorna Shore/Signs of the Swarm vocalist changes got us some nasty metal
Damn right
My god it did, cj and Tom are exactly where they should be and this guy has also found a good home
Chelsea grin is garbage withour alex. Eternal nightmares was an absolute embrassment to the bamds name
Couldn't agree more
shrine of malice was the best find ive come across by far. dudes 18 or 19 and absolutely kills lows, with the very best highs ive heard period.
Absolutely disgusting. Can't wait for more
GOD SAVE THE CLEAN
I love how negative adjectives are used as positive adjectives when describing extreme metal songs
It’s actually fuckin nasty af boys 😍

As a cancer surviour from acute leukemia since 94 I am now 32 years old and glad to be alive! and listen to these guys everyday ! And forever!
Fuck yea, man!
The lyrics on 2:42 are amazing. Cristal clear…
Lmao bru 🤣🤣
Lyrics have left the chat
A once beautiful creation
Free of the parasitic cancer
We are as man
Descended from malevolence
A once beautiful creation
Now suffers a wound so foul
We are as man
A parasitic existence feasting away
Mindless drones, senseless we are as man
Gorging upon the anomaly, this is our fate
Striving on self destruction
There is no escape
This is our fate
There is no escape
A once beautiful creation
Free of the parasitic cancer
We are as man
Descended from malevolence
A once beautiful creation
Now suffers imprisonment by malevolence
Proclaiming thy beloved carcass
Beloved know your master
Harvesting thy phenominal beauty
For this existence is eye for an eye
Condemning this creation with
Our self infectious prophecy
We are as man
Know your master
Enrichening the globe with impurity
Victim of consistent inconsistencies
Parasitic existence feasting away
Slaves to a synthetic nest of decay
Mindless drones, senseless we are as man
Masters of mass destruction
Humanity's tainted bloodlines endlessly serving the
Serving the distant hand
Blindly devouring the globe
With immaculate decay
We are whats left
Or maybe we are all that there was
There is no escape

Someone either has a hookup, or is fluent in BBBLLLLEEEEHHHHHHH
Finally i found this lyrics..thanks bro
Even that does not help understand a word. With CJ I got almost everything with the lyrics written. Just about how bad it was mixed
Thx you
still a banger. deserves way more attention
don't understand the hate for the mix. Sounds perfect to me.
yep)
The power of suggestion and band-wagoning at their finest
The whole mix is supposed to be throwback to old-school brutal deathcore like early Whitechapel, which it is
Guess I'm the only one who likes the mix on this, making it sounds crisp and full and i love that !
It sounds AMAZING if they were going for an instrumental mix! Lol
This is the best deathcore song ever
The mix is perfect. Love it
I don't care what y'all think lmao, this shit slaps and you know it
SOTS: *releases dank song*
YT Comments: "the mix."
We just want to hear those vocals more clearly my dude. Someone has to let them know for next time. The whole reason people give criticism is to make something better.... Normally.
a far less artificial mix would also be great. Real drums for example
As if the mix doesn’t matter? Foh
If RUclips existed at the time of And Justice For All, people would’ve given Metallica all kinds of shit for fucking over Newstead and maybe they would’ve fixed his bass in the mix. We just don’t want that happening to Dave here, who is a great vocalist and deserves to be heard!
One dude mentioned it because he was aware, then all the elitists crawled out of their shit holes and together like cattle they scream "the mix, my guy".
Straight up slaps
The audio mix guy was like:let’s give this the standing outside the club smoking a cigarette while you hear the band’s playing inside sound.
🤣🤣 So damm true.
Laughed too much at this. 🤣
seems like they changed the mix a bit in the album, it's much better than this
2:15 that part makes me wanna cross the street without looking both ways
Sounds great, wish they had a vocalist
Dave is one of the best vocalists in the game rn and it sucks they did him like they did the bassist on And Justice For All
@@xxXthekevXxx what's the vocalists name
@@Kuso319 David Simonich
He is really good, but don't think I will ever be into this band as much as I was before. Just won't be the same for me without CJ
@@cyrosphere60 sounds like you should listen to Lorna shore haha they are just the new sots now
Literally can’t stop listening to this I listen to this every day 🙃
I actually really like the mix
I am obsessed with this song. I listen to it multiple times almost every day. I truly think that this is going to be their best album to date. I'm gonna cause a shitstorm but I like Dave's vocals more than CJ's, and CJ is a beast in his own right.
We miss this. The banger formation.
When he said Uuuuu uuuu eee eeee uuu uuu oooohhh aahh I really felt that
How sick is this new song?!
Siccckkk af, but people are crying about the production lmaoooo 🤘🏻
The song is awesome but there is some mixing issues , we can’t hear the vocals like the past record.
Ismail Chegdani you must be deaf the sound is awesome to me
Nick Critter he literally said the sound is awesome. But the volume on the vocals is way too low, which is a shame because Dave is one of the best in the game right now.
Kevin Benoit exactly bro , and actually dave used a technique that required a good mixing, but anyway the song is lit and I’m excited for the whole album.
This track made me bust nuts I never knew I had. Definitely THE thickest track of 2019 in my book.
Check out Enterprise Earth "Sleep is for the Dead", Carnifex "Bury Me in Blasphemy" and Shadow of Intent "Barren and Breathless Macrocosm". It is a good year for metal.
Kickass song, idk why people are saying the production is bad sounds pretty good to me, and also do make it public lmao
Because they're edgy pricks lmaoooo
@@NickyHC yeah xD
if you listened to the amount of quality metal that I’ve been listening to for like decades especially using high end headphones and/or studio monitors all the time, you can easily tell this is bad. However, I wouldn’t say the production here is bad. SOTS definitely produced something solid here but whoever was in charge of mixing/mastering fucking tanked it lmao 😂
@@bengalusa Pretty much bro xDD
It sounds fine on a phone, but the mixing of the vocals sounds really quite and there is so much clipping it’s not even funny. Their official releases sound way better in terms of production, but no, this video just failed miserably.
Dave Simonich is absolutely insane!
The guy who did mixing for this song deserves to step on lego brick
Their from Pittsburgh Pa USA and so am I. I'm a big fanand have personally. met them @ The Rex Theater Pittsburgh Pa while on THE DEVASTATION ON THE NATION TOUR a few years.
As well as that I've got a cd signed by them all of THE DISFIGUREMENT OF EXISTENCE
Tbh I love the mix. Drums need to fcking slay and I can hear the vocals just fine. But seems like I'm the only one thinking that way lol^^
I'm being a little over the top but do you have a 10 billion dollar sound system?
It seems cool for me as well and no I don't have a 10000$ sound system just earphones (tin t2)
@@kekkek7888 same here haha^^
Maybe you just need speakers that differentiate treble, mid, and bass? My surround sound system blasts this and it sounds amazing...
Yeah was gonna say, this mix is actually decent. But I am listening on a pair of studio monitors, I think people listening through phone speakers and/or cheap speakers wouldn't get much differentiation between the upper mids and highs, and the guitars are quite upper mid heavy in this mix.
Everyone who can't hear the vocals, turn it up. Those lows ain't messin around. Still my favorite metal band. This song only strengthens that.
Maybe the vocals blending into the instrumentals was intended and had a stylistic purpose. I was kinda intrigued by it.
Nah I think he just recorded it with his phone . While it was playing on his phone
What a nice peaceful song.
damn, it slaps sooooo hard !
Slaughter of Prevail feeling
Everything sounds amazing here, but the volume levels are off. Can’t hear Dave’s amazing voice :(
You are absolutely right :/
I agree
You God Damn right :/
Kevin Benoit sounds like you’re going deaf bud, this really shows you the limitations of the human condition. Good luck and don’t die too young
The mixing is so bad that I can't hear the vocals and understand the lyrics.
Slamming deathcore is the best.
The songwriting is on point, but please work on the mixing. The vocals can't be heard clearly
Yea man, the vocals are so amazing but the production is so garbage, i can't hear anything else tv songs
think the vocals may be mixed like that on purpose, him live is similar, hes doing more straight gutterals the entire time so the way you may wanna mix it is like its an instrument. I understand exactly what you are saying though and i could be wrong but this is how it usually goes and i'd probably go for a similar style.
That’s kinda the point. It’s death metal 💀
i hope my voice is heard by someone who matters when i say that this sounds just fine on my studio monitors with sound treatment, it in fact slams hard as fuck. the vocals are nicely balanced with the rest of the band. please continue putting out productions like this.
You can't please everybody lads, but I love it. it's brutal 🤘🏻🤘🏻
Its great nick
The video is what makes it for me
Who needs vocals with instrumentals like that!
With a good mix this would be amazing.
I'm glad I'm not the only one who feels that the vocals are absolutely buried in the mix.
I ABSOLUTELY LOVE THIS BAND! BEEN A FAN SINCE DAY ONE
Holy shhhiiiiiiitttttt this song is awesome👍👍👍👍💥💥💥
This is a completely new band, very excited for the album!
Thats fucking sick!!!! New School Brutal Deathcore, fuck yeah
Oh good, so they'll be okay. Good, good to know. Well done, fellas.
That's brilliant🖤
está muy bueno esto, increíble😌
Quietly Loves! :)
CJ is obviously a fantastic vocalist, but this guy is my favorite. The energy he brings, and his style of vocals are just amazing. He looks likes is inside the song, not just playing it
These are the type of vocals i aspire to, i would say im halfway there
I wanna hear this vocalist with some good production
He has a guest spot near the end of Delusions of Grandeur’s song “Theatrophy” (alongside Dan Watson’s guest spot) and the mix there is incredible. His lows are some of the best in the game and they really show.
Love from malaysia 🇲🇾💕
Fookin' brutal
I’m like coming back to 2009, amazing
Im I the only one who loves the mix? Anyone?
Signs Of The Swarm are n alwayz will remain absofuckinglutely crushingly dam good n Pittsburgh Pa USA finest./best metal band
i know its deathcore but turn down the kick drum like .5db we cant hear anything
kent seidel exactly!
IKR!
CJ WAS BETTER
The mix on both of their LP's were garbage, too. Kind of amazing how such a talented band can't find a decent producer for even an average mix.
As a drummer I really enjoy the loud kick
Ooooh mmmyyyyy goddddddd
So much pain that your crying almost sounds like a tormented pig, i think its the max lvl of sadness and this is as horror as hell could be, just wow 😮
PS:The mix is weird af, but somehow i like it
Pure NOISE
It's because the mixing is terrible
Insanidade pura ... Caralho Música ta incrível...
Love the song AND the mix
Is this Dave Simonich?
Yes it’s David Simonich, formerly from Improvidence. He has a dope feature on “Theatrophy” by Delusions of Grandeur alongside Dan Watson.
City and Color
David is a demon 😈
I always like to compare sound mixing of other deathcore/slam to STP, who have that down masterfully
Russians..
idk how i can addicted listening to this...
Good but I wish the vocals were a bit louder
yeah i agree
I think the same
Maybe enjoy the part where he says there is no escape at the end cause that’s wortgy
I agree
The drums are way too loud and it's drowning out the vocals.
Perfect for my soul.
Maybe I need to listen with headphones on because through my phone it sounds like a giant mess aside from the snare.
maybe you need to clean up the mess that is your life
@Eternal Rambler Lmao
Idk how others but i am using Sennheiser G4me Zero headphones and it sounds good to me. I can hear all clearly and separately (exept bass...).
@@neauxla2903 Its not that bad, its not good, but I've heard waaaaaay worse
Tom Janda ...bruh your Sennheisers are defective then. I watched this yt video first on my phone, then played it again on my audio technica studio headphones, & just now on my studio monitors... and yeah the mixing is complete shit. The audio track is bleeding and clipping heavily lmao
This is absolutely brutal
Senseless Order - The mix was not enough loud
The Disfigurement of Existence - The mix was perfect
Malevolent Enslavement - The mix was too loud
I found The Disfigurement of Existence to be my least favorite of the mixes :/
The next album will just be Dave doing one single gutteral before our speaker explodes with no instrumentals
@@Cristov123 🤣
loving the vocal change...fukn amazing
This is what metal sounds like to nonmetal heads
That vocal range though holy shit
"Malevolent Enslavement" as opposed to *benevolent enslavement?*
I see in the comments that people are saying the mix is horrible, and it is, but SOTS is more of a modern slam band than deathcore so it works
I'm 99% sure this is a fantastic song but whoever mixed it was drunk
I still can't what he is saying
@@dumptruckbeer3884 I also can't what you are saying lmao
I actually like the mix haha but I seem to be the only one who does
@@TheJetpack132 Its hot as FUCK. saturated and brutal. If its intentionally done, its pretty nice. Carried away with the heat for sure
I'm drunk and this mix slams harder than remix
I see you jimmy amazing song
I just want to talk with whoever mixed this
The New Kings of Deathcore
This happens when you let your drummer produce and mix the song.
Hahaha I enjoyed it being a drummer
aaron kitcher doest that too
Disagree. Just sounds Terrible
This is something that my ears will learn to kill everything around or get rid of my head ache both are good as this band and this new song that they have written
The mix isn't good but the song is fucking wild. I love it. I just hope that the quality is better come the album
These vocals really spoke to me
Straight violent beast mode!!! Can't wait for the rest of the album! This gets song of the year! Already album of the year, always mad love and respect for my homies in this band! This proves they are the greatest band ever. Even with David as a vocalist. Can hear the improvement in that mans vocals. Sounds like a fucking demon. Love you guys!
what a slapper
As much as i prefer CJ's vocals over Dave's, he does make a good replacement.
Why not much diffrenet he will probably get better after some tpuring too
@@aprioris.knowledge2765 mmmh maybe
You just can't hear Dave ffs.
Although I loved Lorna Shore with Tom, Tom in CG isn't good
Is Dave even breathing?
Holy Shit. I'm sold. Hearing this song since 2 hours in loop. HELP.
Btw. I really love the mixing. Don't have issues hearing the new vocalist
F. I don’t either, I listen to this and watch this video at LEAST once a dat
We want those nasty vocals to be louder
Pretty mad tune
Im nervious 😂😂😂 time to see what happened instead Cj

Those highs are vile, I love it.
Mixing is a little bit Terrible but still a Good Song!
Very cool!!
Holy crap the mix is so terrible in this. But other then that its alright.
Stfu whining
@@NickyHC It's not whining if he's right ... Talented band with a song marred by bad production.
The vocals of the vocalist are so fucking good, but this mix was garbage
It’s a pretty dope mix
Am i the only one thinking that they wanted it to sound that way?
