I've listened to Cryptopsy, Extermination Dismemberment, Infant Annihilator, Devourment etc... and I've always found SOTS to be the heaviest band I've ever heard.

There’s just something about Dave’s vocals. They have this creature from the pits of hell quality to them and it just goes so well with the instruments on the album.
Cj is actually 10 times better though. Search up their previous album, "The Disfigurement of Existence" and you'll see why.

Jacob Dicker ah I’ve got all the band’s albums. Haven’t listened to their first in full yet (a bit rough) but The Disfigurement of Existence is a masterpiece of an album. Dark, heavy and CJ gives the performance of a lifetime, but I feel Dave fits the band really well and given what happened with CJ having Dave is better going forward.
Second Coming97 you saw CJ came back to public with a video the disproves all claims against him. Evidence included.
Both are good, but Dave is an animal, just listen the amount of sounds he can do with his voice

one of the best tracks on the album. personally I favor CJ's vocals overall but David is a better guy and has some utterly prehistoric lows. Instrumentally, this is definitely my favorite SOTS album to date

If you haven't check out Improvidence..David's band before SOTS. Imo David is better overall
especially live and his vocal versatility allows better musicianship. Though I do love The Disfigurement of Existence..Vital Deprivation has stronger songwriting and is the instruments are great

Not that it would matter for me personally, some of the music I listen to contains way worse people lol, I got no problem separating the art from the artist. And yeah, I prefer CJs vocals too, but I like their instrumentals more now.
