A suggestion to get around the FX-Track NRPN issue, is to assign the FX parameters to the Performance macros on the A4. Those do have regular CC destinations.

Great idea to use the A4 as an effects unit for the lovely L8. My only concern is the reverb tail is not long enough 😩 but I love the idea - using the step sequencer to manipulate the effects is great.

If you don't know the artist KMRU, you should get to know his music (he's amazing)- his entire catalog is centered around the Lyra-8 and he uses it live, too.

Wow, The Lyra 8 is such a beast! Really need to keep my student ass from buying that thing. But the sound and textures I could be lost for days with that thing.

This, also the A4 has CV out which can be utilised.
I had tried that quick quick and wasn’t able to map it to the fx params. I might have over looked something. I was in a bit of a rush putting it all together for the show. I’ll give it an other go 😉
@@antonv13absolutely, I had tried using the CV channel going into the Lyra but it was hard to get useable results on the fly in an improvisational context. In the studio though it’s a yummy combo

Yeah, Liam. Let’s just ignore this and silently promote more tech from a terrorist country. I understand that you are not related to the war in Ukraine, but it hurts every time when people suggest that “topic xyz is outside of politics”. Unfortunately me and many more musicians in Ukraine are creating under drone attacks and rockets. Some of them are unable to do it, cause of this. But yeah, let’s keep it PG and only synth related for your comfort guys.
