I remember seeing something like this when they would bring the cattle across the Intercostal canal at High Island, don't know if they still do it but it was a sight to see.
unbelievable so I am French I am used to seeing cattle I know cows very well I grew up in Cantal in France region Auvergne, we have breeds of cattle that we call "the Salers" very well known as a breed of cows " but I didn't know they were able to swim such a long distance I'm impressed. it's too much to see the cows swimming like that, there are no cows drowning in the distance? I hope she's okay, the cow at the very end that looked like they were stuck in the mud I guess?
@@u2fletch Honestly its not the best idea and really easy to get swept away or stuck in the mud, just spend $5000 and build a small crossing for them, one of them could break an ankle so easily, especially with a bunch of unsympathetic cowboys trying to rush them along.
@@ChrisHillASMR do you have a very stereotypical judgment anyway? I think they know what they are doing, it has been their job for generations! Did you know that crossing paths in water is even very good for animals for a whole bunch of settings?
i guess im asking the wrong place but does someone know of a trick to log back into an Instagram account? I was dumb forgot the account password. I would love any tips you can offer me!
@Kyle Antonio Thanks for your reply. I got to the site on google and Im waiting for the hacking stuff atm. Takes a while so I will get back to you later with my results.
Not counting the several days of waiting for perfect conditions.... High tide, slack water. Staging the cattle overnight before trucks took them back to ranch. Overall not an easy operation!
@@u2fletch congratulations for the job , it's sacred work really rancher actually in 2021 and it's a beautifull wotk with i find personaly greetings from France

It's very difficult for animals. ...Isn't it ?
Don't think so. Some will swim across all by themselves before the main crossing.

How long was the drive?? Looks like a good time!!! It’s been many (MANY) years since I have done that.
It's kind of shocking how quick it was. The video was completely unedited from start to finish less than 15 minutes.
@@u2fletch lol my last light drive was 7 hours lol. (MANY years ago)

@@u2fletch nope it is not an easy operation.....you are dealing with cattle!!

She rested a little bit then climbed out.
@@u2fletch it's cool, I am reassured
