I was at this concert……what a joy to hear it again!! Pippo……..one of the greatest voices of the century……he still had that incomparable unique sound even at sixty some years old!
Here he is no young anymore but he sings better and better then young Tenors !!

It seems sad seeing a great tenor at the end of his career, but it's also a reminder how terrific he was as a young performer. R.I.P.

@@nietzschearistofanes Here some more nonsense for you Hector. Di Stefano may be the most beautiful quality of voice I ever heard. I also heard him live at Carnegie Hall circa 1960. His voice was very similar live than on recordings except for the beautiful over tones in the theater. Try to have a good day.
