  • Hey everyone, Kevin here. I figured I’d start a RUclips channel that felt a little more personable as I brought you all along on my adventures. Florida can be a tough state to camp in. I usually camp twice a week from November until March with friends. I still camp through the summer, just not as frequently as other adventures seem to take up the long summer days. I work rotating 12 hour shifts that allow me to have off 14+ days a month. Combine that with my sense of adventure and I'm able to see what the states really have to offer. So please, go ahead, subscribe and follow along for some fun outdoor adventures!

    Really like your river adventures, post some more! You're hitting a lot of old rivers and creeks I used to spend time on years ago. I just picked up a boat (2008 - 18' Carolina Skiff, 70 HP Suzuki with Jack plate) and I plan on hitting some of the spots again....actually heading up the Wekiva in about an hour!

    one thing Evinrude got right was water pump discharge it's close to an inch and moves alot of water.. sadly i still wish i had a 4 stroke.. mine is a 2018 and 10yr warranty (reason for buying) but with them going out of business it's tough to find a place for warranty work... love that boat Kevin i thought my key west 1720 went in skinny water lol i can do 10-11" min. but can do about 15 ish inces on plane if i know the area

    • @OverlandFlorida
      @OverlandFlorida  10 месяцев назад

      I ran a newer Evinrude for a while. I don’t really care for buying and adding oil. I’d rather just gas and go. I didn’t have any issues with the engine at all. Knowing the area to be able to stay in plane is half the battle! Thanks for watching.

    hwy 19 and up is alot narrower and one side is deeper than the other but no way are you getting above 19....I canoed it and did a video onit like 3 years ago , awesome spring run. lots of jumping mullet in there.
