Important note: he didn't connect the cooling pump power supply to the MB. As you can see on the video the monitoring shows 0rpm for the pump fan and the CPU temperature is very high. Don't forget to connect that cable, the SATA cable is just for the RGB lights. Otherwise great video 👍
Thanks Christopher. By far the best build guide I have found. Gave me the confidence and knowledge to complete my first build without any significant challenges
So much great practical advice that's not included in the doc for the various components. I've been sweating a similar build for weeks, and am much more confident now. Outstanding video production quality, too - slow, clear speaking; sharp, steady camera work; and judicious use of time lapse. Wouldn't change a thing. Thank you for taking the time to make this excellent video!
2 years later and I used the video to do my first ever build. This was priceless,,,, It took me 15 hours, lol by stopping and starting your video 3000 times, but I did it with absolutely no problems AT ALL. Turned on and booted up to windows on the first try. This video is priceless, if anyone is wondering!
I've been wanting to build my new PC with this casing, and your video allows me to see how hardwares and cables can be installed and managed within the case. So thanks for this.
I dont mean to be so offtopic but does someone know a trick to get back into an Instagram account? I was stupid lost my account password. I love any help you can give me!
Just wanted to give a massive thanks for this video. Coincidently I'm using the same case and very similar parts to yourself so it was extra helpful and it was great to see a video build that covers everything. I'm an electronics engineer by trade so, pretty confident but still had some questions about what cable goes where, how to handle a BIOS flash update and drivers etc. Your video filled in all the gaps so, again, a massive thank you!
Auch a nice, clean and detailed review. That was awesome to watch as you talked about every single step! I’m impressed, because this must have been a lot of work. Thank you for that ❤
this is like.. super clean. I was able to understand absolutely everything youre talkin about (which there are not so obvious ideas) thank you very much sir, gonna help me!
It's always a good idea to test cpu, ram, board and gpu outside of the case first to see if everything works. This case even let's you take out the mainboard-holder, so... this would've been nice to show. But it's a great tutorial after all.
Just got my new case and was a bit frustrated at first with the gaps in the manual. Your video, among other benefits, perfectly fills in the missing information. For this, of course, a subscription and a like.
Hello Christopher! I FINALLY built my PC today (after waiting since last year due to horrendous prices) and this video help me a lot!!! As a first time PC builder I was really unsure but after watching your video, I knew that I could do it. It explains all steps really well and I want to thank you for the effort you put in it. Thank you very much for your videos and I wish you all the best :-)
Just one little warning for users of this case: when you're moving your desktop remove the filter down the bottom before picking up the case. I was a first time builder and learned it here, so thanks man.
Thanks Christopher! Built an intel Z690 system inside a bequiet 802 case recently and followed the majority of your steps to the letter (even though you built a ryzen system here). Your video contains great explanations and is well edited. To all you first time builders out there, I would definitely recommend investing in Corsair’s individually sleeved PSU cables rather than the one’s that come standard with the PSU. First, they make connecting cables to the motherboard much easier, and second, the bequiet 802’s sound dampening material can make things tight behind the motherboard. Cheers.
Amazing, I came across this video by chance. Normally I am 100% French-speaking, and I downloaded all the tutorials in French, for in the end it's a video in English which explains me the ultimate method to mount my PC. in addition with the exact same components that I bought. it's incredible. so self-explanatory. I understand a little English but we don't even need to hear what you're saying to know what to do, everything is very well shown, the gestures are perfect, the angles of view incredible. in short, a great job for beginners like me. a big thank you for your work. I subscribe immediately. the only thing that escaped me is if you plugged the power supply into the mains socket when flashing the BIOS? 100% amazing
I just got the same case and the 3 fan version of that cpu cooler. Very good video. I was not sure what to do with all the fan connectors and the fan rail on the back. Thanks a ton for making this video. You are the Bob Ross of PC builds by the way.
Building a PC is actually nothing new for me but I were looking for some guide about Silent Base 802 and I've found a treasure here! :D Amazing guide, very helpful even if you have some exp in it, learned a lot. I'll surely recommend it to everybody staring PC building adventure!
I'm installing in an 801 case and this is the best video I could have hoped for. Thank you. Only thing I had to check was the front panel connectors. The switches had no polarity indicated and I got confused. But I learned their polarity does not matter.
Thanks alot. I moved my old pc into this case and was intensly searching what the one cable was. Thanks to you i learned it is for usb c that my old mb doesn't support
Chris, this is an absolutely brilliant video that has helped me no end source and build a similar powerhouse of a PC using the same case! Your thermal testing video also saves me loads of messing around with fans and cooling, I will leave as is with my top mounted AIO and open case covers, as you clearly demonstrate it is configured optimally out of the box. As I haven't built a PC since the 90s you have given me a great refresher as things have changed quite a bit! Thanks mate, keep up the good work, I will keep my eye out for your content, I have subscribed and belled! Thumbs up!
You didn't attach the feet with the case on its back then... As the buttons get pushed down and both sides will unlock before you've even got that far lol
Awesome video, thank you. I am waiting for this case to show up. I ordered it a few days ago and it should be here later this week. I already received some other goodies to use in it like the same 850 watt power supply as you used, some cable extensions, and a stack of Noctua Chromax 140mm fans just arrived today. Can't wait to get started.
I just wanted to say thank you again for the video. I successfully built my system in this case and your video was very helpful. I'm extremely happy with this case and it is a pleasure to work in.
Haha, very Nice pc build. A few days ago i had to build a pc and using your instructions it turned out perfect, it is also Nice you always install other parts that were not in the list Just to let us know how it works, and you also explain what to do after you've installed the components for the PC
You are an absolute legend! Thank you for putting together these thorough build guides, really helpful, as I also would like to build my PC, but always found the task daunting and headache-inducing, whereas - after seeing your guide - it's just placing and plugging in the components! EZ PZ :) Keep up the stellar work!!!
Fantastic video! I bought the same case, but had several questions during my build that were not readily apparent from reading the manual. You answered all of them, saving me a lot of grief. Thank you. One caveat: the solid wall model of the SB 802 does not have those 5 plastic HD bay inserts, as you've shown in your case, just empty slots.
Thanks for a great build guide. I’ve just completed an Intel i7 12th Gen build in this case with a Noctua NH-D15 CPU cooler. Case is easy to work in and keeps everything cool with just the 3 stock fans like you recommended in the video. Thanks again.
Wow. Have the case, just haven't started a build in it yet. Waiting on a GPU, I know there's one with me name on it. Very long and useful video. Thanks. It's missing a bit of life. But good.
Great video! I'm waiting on my parts to arrive, I'm building an almost identical PC, only things different are PSU, a 3070 and for AIO I went with the Kraken x63. Thanks for this AMAZING tutorial!
Switches actually aren't polarised. they're either closed (button pressed) or open (button released) so it doesn't matter which way up the reset switch and power switch are connected.
GOOD GOD! I have the Dark Base Pro 900 (from the same manufacturer), and the difference is like night and day. DB900 is - to be polite - a huge pain to set up, especially for a beginner like me. I wish I had watched this video before I ordered it, I would've gotten this one and saved myself a lot of pain.
38:01 *WARNING* In some motherboards do matter, because some Sata ports gets dissabled when using some of the PCIE (for expansion cards such us the graphic card, AND for NMVe SSDs) Check your motherboard manual in both the category of the Sata Ports and the PCIe section, in case there are incompatibilities and only specified in one of them.
I found this after purchasing all my components, which is perfect. I love how clear your tutorial is. I have a MAG X570 Tomahawk WIFI with a Ryzen 7 3800X, do I need to update the BIOS?
Hello Christopher. I just used this video for my built and it helped me tremendously since we have the same case (bequiet 802). Excellent guide. The only problem i have is that when i plug the 4-pin fan cable from fan hub, the fans run at full speed when in auto mode. In manual they slow down as expected. It is a B550 Motherboard, gigabyte aorus pro AX. What may be the problem?
Do you know why there isn't a big front panel connecter instead of all those small ones? So many things have standard fancy plugs. It's not like a connector is so extremely difficult that nobody can design it.... 🙂 Enjoyed your video
Excellent video, built my first PC with this with almost same parts. My preference is if you get rid of the RGB RAM you can get CL16 with same price. Geforce Experience might also just be bloatware. Gonna look for drivers separately and decide later on best software.
Important note: he didn't connect the cooling pump power supply to the MB. As you can see on the video the monitoring shows 0rpm for the pump fan and the CPU temperature is very high. Don't forget to connect that cable, the SATA cable is just for the RGB lights. Otherwise great video 👍
best build guide for beginners, thank you so much
Worst guide for anyone who knows anything about computers.
@@PeterParker-df6ce Do a better video then or explain what he did wrong , you prefer just make a useless talk
Thanks Christopher. By far the best build guide I have found. Gave me the confidence and knowledge to complete my first build without any significant challenges
Thank you very much for your always clean, thorough and concise build videos. You are the absolute best at this on RUclips sir 🙏
That's very kind of you, thanks for your support.
Thanks for this incredible walkthrough! I definitely would not have been able to successfully build my new PC without it!
Your videos are the best quality pc build guides I've seen and you do them so often. I'd love to see a Corsair 275r Airflow build
2 years later and I used the video to do my first ever build. Golden content here. Seriously, your content is unmatched, I have never seen such a good quality content for pc builds. Keep up the good job sir!

Very detailed build video and you also include the bios update, well done. You put allot of larger sub channels to shame.

Absolutely the best video on building a PC on RUclips, by far. Well done. Subscribed.
Christopher, excellent video ... really helps people who don’t do this everyday. Thank you.
My pleasure!
7:48 finally someone mentions this, very good content man.
Thanks

easy to follow, a true step by step guide, this is the only video i was able to follow every single step thank you so much
Very nice tutorial, build my first pc and had absolutely no issues. Thanks :)
Thank you for showing how to update the BIOS! Your videos are always so detailed and clear.
I'm installing in an 801 case and this is the best video I could have hoped for. Thank you. Only thing I had to check was the front panel connectors. The switches had no polarity indicated and I got confused. But I learned their polarity does not matter.
Just got done with my first ever build and everything worked on first boot. Thanks to your detailed videos that cover every minute detail. :)
Thank you so much for this video. I was able to build my first gaming PC because of it. Video is well made and detailed.
Thanks alot.
I moved my old pc into this case and was intensly searching what the one cable was.
Thanks to you i learned it is for usb c that my old mb doesn't support
This was an excellent video. Rational, understated and very informative. Much appreciated.

Fantastic Chris - really enjoy your commentary and in depth knowledge of all parts especially the diversity of builds on the channel KUDOS
thanks for this brilliant guide! having built PC systems for almost 30 years, I already failed at removing the side panels from the 802 case ^^
You didn't attach the feet with the case on its back then... As the buttons get pushed down and both sides will unlock before you've even got that far lol
invaluable guide - just finished my new PC today in this case - constantly referred to this resource to guide me - thank you Christopher!
Fantastic be quiet Case and GREAT SERVICE CLIENT! 💛💛💛
Thanks a lot, today I build my first PC with your help and movie ;-)

This guy does a lot of hard work with his videos. Thank you Christopher.
For me, the best video I've found on the topic. Specially, having the same case. The manual is totally insufficient. Subscribed.
You are an absolute legend! Thank you for putting together these thorough build guides, really helpful, as I also would like to build my PC, but always found the task daunting and headache-inducing, whereas - after seeing your guide - it's just placing and plugging in the components! EZ PZ :)
Keep up the stellar work!!!
Thanks... just built a bequiet 802 system. Great help your video!
Come sempre ottimo lavoro preciso e dettagliato.-As always, excellent precise and detailed work.
Really well done video tutorial. No fluff and everything was very methodical and well explained. Thumbs up!
Excellent build - well explained and clear - thank you
Fantastic video!
You saved my life. My first pc build and it didn't burn on boot xD. But I have to say, the tower is a bit cheap but at least quiet.
Best step by step guide so far! Thanks for your work.
Great guide, thanks for sharing. I have an 802. Going to replace Wraith Prism with an AIO (Prism has developed a "rattle").
If I'm going to use this case for an inverted build (left side of desk build) so I need any special brackets or mounts?
You don't, the case comes with everything you need for an inverted build, you just need to follow the instrucctions on the manual
Brilliant, thanks. This is almost exactly my planned build.
Man you helped me a lot with my PC build, thank you very much, I really appreciated it :)
Glad I could help!
Thanks for a great build guide. I’ve just completed an Intel i7 12th Gen build in this case with a Noctua NH-D15 CPU cooler. Case is easy to work in and keeps everything cool with just the 3 stock fans like you recommended in the video. Thanks again.
thanks for always bringing cases I am interested in and giving such a valuable information in detail.
Fabulous guide. A lot of attention to details. Thank you!!!
thanks my friend your tips save me, big thanks from france👍
Haven't watched yet, but looking forward to it. Your videos helped me with my first build. Keep it up!
Got the same motherboard and cpu! Its amazing. Had to buy a gigabyte 750w GOLD PSU for £75 on ebuyer, since I couldn’t find any Corsair PSUs.
That is a great build Chris. Keep it up mate!
Wow. Have the case, just haven't started a build in it yet. Waiting on a GPU, I know there's one with me name on it. Very long and useful video. Thanks. It's missing a bit of life. But good.
best guide. nice build. cable management could be a bit better on the invisible side, but its not bad. very useful video.
Great video! I'm waiting on my parts to arrive, I'm building an almost identical PC, only things different are PSU, a 3070 and for AIO I went with the Kraken x63. Thanks for this AMAZING tutorial!
Good luck!

Great video just build my 802 with help of your video! Thumbs Up!
Thank you very much for the video. This is exactly what I was looking for. Would like to build exactly the build :-).
GOOD GOD!

You are most welcome

Just the video I was looking for! May i suggest making a video installing corsair QL RGB fans.
Noted!
Easy to follow along, really good guide!
Thanks for the help, thought my Power Button's LED was not working, I simply didn't have them in correctly.
Superb help! Thanks
Stellar build video! Thank you! Excellent!
Nice work dude 👌👍
I found this after purchasing all my components, which is perfect. I love how clear your tutorial is.
I have a MAG X570 Tomahawk WIFI with a Ryzen 7 3800X, do I need to update the BIOS?
really good video. Mutch love from Germany!

Enjoyed your video
Awesome case.
Thank you so much!
noice, i subscribed after watching this video
You should shrink the SSDs by 10-20 GB for overprovisioning.
Thank you! you re a saviour! :D
